Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019

2017,ETH is a basic platform for funding and token issue,and more than90%+ projects and tokens select to be on eth.

2019,ETH is the base platform for more large-scale Defi open finance, as you can see,MakeDAO,ddex,and so on.

so,anyway,the promising future is coming for eth.

It seems to me like the basic platform even did a little better than the present one, because 2017 was really a great year for Ethereum, and this 2019 has not been great at all, and this 2019 looks like their hype is seriously dying down.  I believe that there is still a very great future for Ethereum, but that bright future can only be achieved if there is more push from the side of the developers and team, because other projects are quite pushing their project better than Ethereum now, and most of those projects are not on their chain which we would have said will still affect them positively.

Let us see what their Ethereum 2.0 will look like when they release it next year, I learnt that it is really going to be a great new thing entirely with the introduction of new features which is what we need now for Ethereum to keep getting attractive.

For Eth 2017 was a golden period, Converting all of your Eth to Btc might not be a good move as it still a second best. We might get some good news in 2020 for Eth.

The good news will be this year, ETH 2.0 will be updated soon, then it is planned to switch to PoS mining, so that soon ETH will recover and become stronger

2017 is the best year for ethereum and Bitcoin but this year ethereum alone not performed in the crypto marketplace. Very sad to see the people whoever invested on ethereum and it's fellow tokens.
Maybe you can believe ethereum now for the the future growth but still it is unsure.

I dont think its dead, be always specific on what you are telling or sharing because it might give the reader a wrong information to other people, let me say it this way, a dead project will disappear and we might not even see a site or anything if its dead
but ethereum network is still here and there are lots of people using ethereum so its not dead, it might go down but not gone,
besides the price of ethereum is still above roi why? because from what I know the price is just like a cents or a dollar way back so its still alive

Yes it is true, that nothing is bringing it back to those 2017 good old days. But there is a big chance were it can be happen again,
only time we don't when? because we all know the market are too unpredictable. I also believed that Ethereum will bounce once more
at the right time fro sure, so it is good to buy now then hold.

BTC is indeed the mother of all coins, and everyone is happy to hold it. I think the price of ETH will also increase as BTC rises. But holding BTC is very sensitive. If we are unable to hold in the long term, we will suffer losses.

The only difference between ETH of 2017 and 2019 is the price, in 2017 crypto market in general are all in good shape but the 2019 is very bad but 2019 is full on good news for crypto, there is probability of higher price surge than that of 2017 in near future, ETH still have what it takes to achieve better adoption upon the bad names given to erc20 tokens because of scam projects

It's fine if you have swapped your ETH for BTC. Some people might only think that BTC is more profitable because it has a higher price but Eth is still profitable and it has proven a lot through years. Compared to other altcoins, it is still better than you have chosen Ethereum. I'm sure that the price will get even better in the future.

The different about ethereum in 2017 and this year 2019 is the price. We know how hype the ethereum 2 years ago. And people expect this year good price like before but its not easy because we know that its depend to the flow in the market. So even we compare it before and now it will be still hard what eth price will be in the future,if its high or low.

The differences is not only the price, but also the demand and the projects that using erc-20 was very nice and lot of investors invest on them.
Ethereum 2.0 is coming soon next year, and hope it brings back the throne of ETH as the best altcoin

if you look at the development from year to year I think now ETH still has a positive value, because we see a decline in prices from the end of 2017 where ETH has dropped more than 80%, but not only ETH you can see all ALT also down, even BTC also down though not as bad as ETH and other altcoins.

I should have done the same thing and right now I am not sure what is the future of ETH. It is definitely my beloved altcoin and I hope that ETH 2.0 will change things, but as of now, I stopped investing in ETH and switched to BTC as well.

Comparing Ethereum from year 2017 and today, we can really tell how different it was. Its price is continuously increasing before until it become more popular that it was.
Its price before is nearly below $200 but the difference is, ethereum is much popular these days. It is more advance than before and its chances for increase is much higher, ethereum price is expected to reach another ATH when bull run comes by 2020.

If we compare ETH in 2017 and 2019 it is certainly very different, in 2017 is a happy and profitable year for many people who are in cryptocurrency and in 2019 at this time I feel that for the moment it is better to hold it for a long period of time and continue to observe market movements to determine when we will sell the coins.

A lot of things have changed if we compare ETH in 2017 and 2019. Back then in 2017, we sought ETH as a replacement of BTC but right now it is struggling for its own existence as many of the alts have come up and are sought as to its substitution. However, the price of the coin had decline so much and looks way more far from the ATH that it achieved previously, I believe that it would soon rise and we will be seeing a new powerful ETH hopefully...

With how things are working right now and bitcoin still dominating inside, it might be much better to hold bitcoin even the value is struggling. ETH have good community support but not as big like how bitcoin have, if you are comparing things wayback you will notice that the chance of falling from this market situation is very big for ETH, while with bitcoin, supporters will try to keep it and try to bounce it up again.

It is indeed a fact that bitcoin is still currently at the top but if we are going to look at ETH, there's a lot of improvement that occured on it over the years. It may look very different with bitcoin since it experienced a huge crisis for the past year so I think it is not really a smart move to swap all your ETH for BTC. Bitcoin is still barely shining once again but who knows, maybe it would make you more genuinely happy soon if ever BTC regains its composure of being a great crypto.
