Punishing a scam team is extremely difficult.  Some forum users correctly say that one must be very careful and analyze the project.  Although this also does not guarantee full insurance against fraudsters.  I remember the case when one project did not want to make payments and then everyone who promoted the company got together and united in movements, started anti-advertising on social networks.  This led to the fact that the project team immediately fulfilled its obligations.

You can't do anything for the scam ICO because they are operating from the across the border and there is no separate statutory body established for the governance of the ICO conduct. So, always invest with your own risk and if you are investing in the ICO then invest very low funds.

Have you ever wondered why shady ICOs continue to attract investment, despite the negative mood prevailing in the market for the past couple of years? My guess is that a large part of the investment directed towards these projects come from questionable sources. The investors may be trying to wash their coins, to avoid detection by the authorities.
I believe that almost all information about such projects is fictitious, due to which the team manipulates the attention of cryptocurrency users in the market. Back in 2016 and 2017, on the official websites of many projects, you could always see the real numbers of attracting investment funds online. But today, such information is in most cases absent, and if there are still generally available indicators of raising funds from investors, then these figures do not correspond to reality and there is no way to verify these data. therefore, I doubt the fact that some fraudulent or bad projects are very interested in investors.

We have moved from ICO to IEO and the scams keeps getting worst. most projects that got listed on top exchanges due to IEO failed to produce any increase in price. A new scheme for fund raising is around the corner. as longer as cryptocurrency is a decentralized platform, we know it is a gamble where you invest what you can loose. if it works, you are lucky if it fails, forget it.

ICO or IEO, scammers will be scammers.
Even if the exchange is filtering those projects to conduct their IEO on their exchange, still the fate of the project is on the coin's dev.
And ICOs are now almost ignored by crypto users, very few can really make a dent on this type of crowdsourcing.
So I think the time of ICOs already expired, not so many projects are now introduced via ICO.
Investors, whether big or small have had enough of this ICO drama, so I think projects should find a new way to fund their project aside from IEO.

now many ICOs are fraudulent, therefore investors must be careful in choosing an ICO before investing in it because if they are not careful then the issued capital will drift in vain and a way to punish them, we can advise investors not to join the ICO

No one can punish them for the ICO or other scamer in the crypto world because it is difficult to do with no evidence and where they are so that the ICO continues to roam with no punishment for them so this is more difficult.

In 2018 the ICO boom has begun to occur and it is there that gamers always make actions with their platforms by cheating many people with investors' money and the only way you have to be more careful because if you are careless in doing so you will lose your money.

2018 was the worst year of ICOs where scammers actually managed to steal millions of dollars from investors around the world. It's just something awful that occurred that year, where almost every project that offers ICO turned out to be scam and fraud. The more trouble that caused that year is the other manager has accepted the offer of the scammers and begin to promote their scams. there are lots of trusted managers who got tagged by the DTs that year. the one who is famous who managed to almost promote 50 scams projects that year was needmoney.

to be honest, I don't really believe in ICO right now if I don't do a partnership with a large company. however, at this time the ICO can not only just appear, but there must be great confidence from the team so that investors return to investment. if you are involved in an ICO scam, it is very difficult to take your funds back.

ICOs in 2017 2018 stole billions of dollars from investors in this market. That's why the ICO is now dead and no one is interested in it, for me 99% of ico at the moment are scams. If they are legit then I believe they will try to look to major exchanges to implement IEO

There's still a lot of ICOs out there that are scams. So do your research one what you are getting yourself into first. We can't avoid people getting scammed by this schemes 100% but we can warn them. So if you found a ICO that is a scam you could report that or just warn people about them in their thread. Even that act can prevent people and have doubts on the campaign. But always do your research thoroughly before making a statement. There are still a lot of ICOs out there that is legit.

Yup! I hardly believe in any ICO projects right now since there are too much scam projects in the market back to the time. When you involved in a scam project, the only thing you can do is to learn the lesson, take the experience and move on! You should do really good research before joining in any project!

I believe that no one will participate in the ICO right now. People will only focus on bitcoin and the top altcoins, and they will also be interested in IEO at major exchanges in this market. But IEO is no longer able to keep the hype as it used to, too few IEO appear at the current stage.

I think we should need to avoid such kinds of ICO's before participate in. Scam ICO's would always copy something from the genuine projects. That's why it would become necessary to use parallelism to find scammy projects. If we necessarily work like this before joining any project then it would be far easy for us to not involved in the scam projects.

Actually, during this time we realized that during the follow many ICO project we get scam project but we as gift Hunter No boss continue to hunt and always hope to get the result of the project, and there is currently no way to solve this problem because it is very difficult to predict that the project is a scam because the whitepaper applied very complete.

Do not just rely on a complete whitepaper, because some scam projects also apply plagiarism whitepapers from other projects, so be careful when looking at a project's whitepaper, because many people are trapped in the project scam because they are not careful enough to see the whitepaper.
There are hundreds of scam projects appearing in this market, and you should choose carefully because ICO is no longer the same as before. In addition, you should not waste time with bounty campaigns that show signs of scam because it will only make you more tired. This year is a very difficult year for everyone, and hopefully next year will be a better year, and there are many safe projects for investors.

Indeed investing in popular crypto is much better rather than trying your luck to earn huge when you invest in ICO. Lots of scam and there's a high chance to only lose your money instead of gaining something from it. Good thing investors nowadays are wise and already learn their lesson from their past experience so investing in ICO is not an option as ways to earn in crypto world.

Right, for this year it is very difficult to choose a campaign project, because there are many unclear campaigns that even stop in the middle of the road, so I totally agree with the direction you are saying, which is to be more careful in choosing project campaigns, because projects that are no longer the same as ICO projects in the past, especially ICO's reputation at this time is very bad in the eyes of investors.

in fact, they could have been sued but there is no legal basis for dealing with ICO or cryptocurrency scams, because before we already knew that crypto investment is a very high risk both in scams and losing the money we have.

depending on which country the project came from, if from the United States as far as I know it can be made a case,
because some projects are there investors get their money back
