A lot of people are asking for legitimate projects but they're not really understanding what they want.

People actually just want profit. And trust me, in this ICO/IEO space, profit sometimes has very little to do with whether or not the project makes money these days. It gives you a false sense of security and confidence, that's all.

I know of some projects that do not need to participate in IEO on large exchanges like Binnance or Huobi but still get a large pump.
such as the CIPX project, they have IEO on Bitsdaq and have x3 times the value when sold to investors in IEO round.
The most important thing is still the marketing and ideas of the project. If they have good ideas, investors will be willing to buy at higher prices.

Well, the success of the project still depends on the development of it and its team though. But still, it's a lot better than ICO launching.

But to enter IEO into a large exchange also need funds? especially if the team is ready to fund the launch of IEO in Binance, but that is also not as easy as we imagine, there must be a solid team and a good concept.

IMHO! Yes i prepare to invest if those IEO was launch on a big exchange like Binance because of the few more reasons: first the security of funds was guaranteed. second, was the prospect of large user base and potential investors for the project, third im pretty sure that the big exchange like Binance is not easily letting any IEO to be listed on their platform without a proper study and identification since the credibility of the said exchange is at stake if the project was fraudulent.

The exchange can provide a service for projects for launch IEO, advertising and fundraising. The fate and development of the project is in the hands of the project team and community. Big exchanges wouldn't want their names to be dragged in the mud hence they will do necessary investigations before an IEO is launched on their website. So I will believe a project is legit if their IEO is launched on a big exchange.

In my opinion, a large exchanger before launching a project in IEO, must be through strict verification about the project, the developer team, whitepaper and including the roadmap. Large exchangers will certainly not sacrifice their reputation for listing fees because sometimes large exchangers like Binance give free listing fees if the project is good and has prospects

This is a different case between the success of IEO and the price after listing on the exchanger. The price after listing is determined by the market and in my opinion, the price rises at the beginning of the listing because many people speculate on the price.

Yes, It is more legit because you will know that the project is really serious because they are willing to pay huge amount of money to promote, sell and list their coins on bigger exchanges. These are those projects that have strong plans for future developments, huge community and have great marketing.

not really, I didn't quickly believe in a new project, even though it was in big exchange. You know as long as the project has a lot of money they can start IEO in big exchanges. so don't believe it just because the project is doing IEO on a big exchange.

Since the start of IEO trend there are some exchange dat I have never heard any body lose in them. Such exchange like binance, houbi and some other big exchange. The duration of IEO normally take few minutes if you are able to enter in you are sure of x3 of ur capital

Launching ieo on binance doesn't say the project is genius and real but self interest on the project is what make the  binance customer and project bull but some are good and I dont see some as real deal in the line cos team and development determine the success of the project.

Yes very true, Binance, and other big exchanges will not allow an unverified or anonymous team member to join their IEO. Before listing the project on their platform, they will do their own research like project plan, infrastructure, and authenticity. With that, we can tell the IEO that list on those big exchanges is more legit compared to those who get listed on the unknown exchange.

Legitimacy isn’t a criteria for project success ! Looking at the last , there has been good legit project that has been dormant without any major progress ! There is more to this than creating a project or hosting on big exchanges ! Success is determined by the prowler actualization , team hard work and marketing !

not all projects that start IEO have funds from the start, so they consider small exchanges. maybe a big exchange can create big hype on a project, but if the project is built only from hype, it won't last long. sooner or later in the end there will be no one who will take hold because of the dump.

therefore it does not matter that the project started IEO in a small exchange, as long as this exchange has a good reputation. it's still good. most important are the concepts and innovations they will introduce to investors. if investors are interested, it will be successful.

Agreed, when it comes to big exchanges they have certain criteria to be fulfilled to get launched through Binance. This is a big stepped process and they expect a big list on this. Every project won't fulfill this, some seems silly and there are some important factors as well. They're transparent and gives the clear information about the project, which also adds value to the project by the time of launch.

However, even after research and continued tracking about the project and investing further there are cases in which the investment has gone into loss even with projects launched through Binance. This way Binance helps in adding legitimacy to the project while success of the project isn't determined by the listing on Binance.

To list on the big exchange, big funds are needed. And not all project team has big funds to start their new project, except they are the representative of the existing big companies.

I think that if this is rare enough, we can decrease the criteria, at least, the exchange that is trusted, listed on CMC, with god trading volume.

In my opinion, I think people widely follow popular and prestige. The high reputation that comes with big exchanges such as binance gives people confidence to trust the authenticity of IEOs that are conducted on their platform. Exactly true. Big exchange have a lot trust from many investor so investor always have mindset if the project launch IEO in trusted exchange it will also make investor trust that project more. They think "why not ? I will not gonna miss out this opportunity"
