But if the project promises that it will be listed in a major exchange like Binance. But they said it took a long time, I think they could have a failure. Have you compared trading on the small and large exchanges? you could experience smaller order book, wash trading, higher transaction fee, very slow/bad support, at a point you wont have option to go for bigger volume even with your small amount of token. Binance is not the only big volume exchange and I even consider some to have culture that could make them sustainable. I dont understand what you were saying about scam on this exchanges

 IEO binance program is good, but what makes it difficult to participate is the regulations that seem burdensome for traders who have small capital.
if you want to join IEO binance, investors are required to hold a certain amount of BNB and the amount is not small for traders who have small capital.

When we talk about IEO, you need to understand that everything always comes down to money.
It is the amount of money that determines the choice of exchange for the initial placement of a project coin.

The biggest problems that projects meet during their fundraising are money.
To conduct IEO on a large exchange you need to pay for it, and pay a lot.

Therefore, the project has to go to small exchanges and conduct IEO there, which far from always gives the desired result.

in my opinion it is even less legit and more scam when it is sanctioned by big centralized places like Binance. and that is exactly why these exchanges are doing it, they want to make more money and don't care about what they are advertising. they would have added the token (in case of ICO) anyways so why not get in from the start and get paid for it!
and that makes it easier for them to scam people because now they reach a wider audience most of whom are gamblers.

I don't know how you manage to get 4merit for this post of yours but here is my own point and question, binance is the best, forget about centralized or decentralized for now and think about the goods IEO have done after ICO Ruin crypto space because of scam projects and the freedom, binance have their reputation to protect and yes every investors still have right to do research on projects from binance but every single projects from them aren't bad at all, i invest and pull out my profit so whats the problem here? are investors not investing in other to make money anymore? tell me please, as for binance its win win for everyone, take your point else where.

I think is legit because these exchanges are reputable so if they host a scam IEO will ruin their protected name in the industry. And if there is a scam their exchange could be weakened, but I don't think they always have a benefits  of joining IEOs, so they tend to lose as well.

I would not say that there is a 100% guarantee about those ICOs which are getting listed in Binance, but we can confidently say that the chances of a project being a scam will be lower if it gets listed in an exchange such as Binance.

 To be listed on Binance's IEO Launchpad, it must be a great and potential project and definitely one of the most legit projects. Because Binance is a large exchange, it has a very thorough team of projects. therefore, it is impossible to get fraudulent projects into their Launchpad.

Binance is a great exchange, it is not easy for a project to enter IEO Binance, moreover what you say is true there must be a registration fee so the scamer project will think again if it's like this. But there is also a good point that scamer will be lost if there are many projects like this, and I see that in every IEO in Binance it is always a success and a future coin for many who are traded.

not really, but the project has a greater chance of success if it is in a big exchange. from the beginning those who invested in IEO did not really care much about it, they just wanted to get short-term profits. and one way is to invest in IEO projects that are in large exchanges. they just follow the hype and when it starts to decline the IEO investor will sell their token. this always happens, you can see it a few weeks after the token has been traded on the exchange, there is always a dump for no apparent reason.

That's right, because only the most top-end projects can conduct their IEO on such top exchanges like binance, because it is very difficult to make IEO on such exchanges, for this you need to pay decent money for IEO and plus all the companies that conduct IEO on top exchanges are tested on scam and other various tests.

There is an edge if an IEO is launched in big exchanges like Binance. The market coverage of big exchanges is also big. That is directly correlated. If an IEO is launched in an unknown exchange, that means the IEO might also end up pretty much unknown. But this is not the only consideration. It is best to make a review on the IEO itself. An IEO that is lack of quality or brilliant innovations will most likely end up unsuccessful and will remain that way even if it is launched on big exchanges.

Ofcourse,  with a big exchange like binance there is very big possibility that the ieo is legit,  big exchange like binance won't want to jeopardize their reputation by hosting scam or fake project, so I think big exchange ieo is more reliable.

I believe that if an initial exchange offering is launched on a big exchange like binance, gate.io ,Kucoin  and some other know big exchanges, there is every possibility of legitimacy in the project, this is because these exchanges would not want to fall the credibility they already have, also they do research on projects that apply for IEO, so they don't list any project that comes their way. Also most times why projects use smaller exchanges could be because of the huge fee these big exchanges take.

Binance is a big and trusted exchange that is why they will not ruin their reputation to introduce a new project in exchange of money, for sure they will make an investigation about the project before they announce it on Binance launchpad so we could say that the project is legit but it will not guarantee to be profitable because it will still rely on how the project will progress.

well, that right , big exchange have a legit IEO , but please remember , about risk , its same.
don't even think if IEO from big exchange will give you constant profit, of course its not.
and also , i suggestion , just do some research first,although it came from big exchange such as binance,bittrex,etc.

That's right. That's one of the reasons why very few startup projects make it to Binance Launchpad. That's why smaller exchanges exist to cater fot the lot that don't have the requirements to get their IEO on Binance dex. But if any startup is planning to go the IEO, I would suggest to try as much as possible to get the sale on a big exchange. It benefits both the project and the investors. There is usually plenty of liquidity for platforms that launched their IEOs on exchanges.

Contrary to what you said, if you recall, Project teams own a percentage of the total supply so it's in their best interest to make sure their token value is good.
