Will Altcoins ever come back again

Altcoins will come back but that won't happen very soon. People are saying that if the Ethereum 2.0 can boost the Ethereum price then most of the altcoins price will be in a good zone, but honestly, I don't think so, because Etheeum can't help others alts price, we have seen this over the year. Ethereum not in a good place and not sure the ETH 2.0 would be good or a sudden hype like the hard fork of this year. So, I don't feel the Altcoin season will be back in the near future.

Maximum shit coins are now about to ruin and see the end of its demand and value. Investors like me have ruined by investing in altcoins but if i hold BTC, i would still on huge profits. I want to say, only focusing BTC will be dominant over the years but altcoins will ruin as they will not fullfill the expectations of the investors.

if you had bought btc at early stage you would be in great profit by even with the market volatility but unfortunately many investors did not have this sense and eye opening, i too have invested some alts that are not doing well and it will take a very long time before they can amount to something, experience indeed comes with time.

Choosing the right altcoins to buy right now is super important and with bitcoin, they will sight together. And hope that the real altcoins will just remain, that there will be one platform which will eliminate a lot of shitcoins and will only list those who are active and proven to be a legit one. Generalized bull market expectations destroy the hopes of investors faster than a flashlight. The bull market in previous years has been caused by the HYPE and the lack of this factor I doubt the market will give the same ROI in the next bull market. The altcoins lag behind BTC due to the correlation and dominance of BTC.

the market is never focused only on just one thing. Market switches very quickly. Today it can be concentrated on bitcoin and tomorrow bitcoin will be without any movement and the market will turn its attention to altcoins. so we should never hold our money only in bitcoin or only in altcoins

yes it will, altcoins are new technology that makes our life better in terms of financial innovation, it's just that some people use it to scam other people, it's not the deadend of altcoins, there some doing great and still developing, the problem is people only looking the price in short time, without knowing the real value of the project that would be beneficial in the long run.

Altcoins will not grow if bitcoin will not grow first. Bitcoin is the leader and it also acting as a leading indicator for the current trend of the market. If bitcoin grows to more highs in the future then that is the signal that the altcoins should be the next market to grow and have a bull run. We all need to be patience because we are still in a bearish market.

No it's not and it's completely dumb if you follow that way. It's always focusing on both, there are some good altcoins right now and maybe you are just lazy to search it.

It doesn't matter, have you ever seen when Bitcoin was $10k? What happened to ETH on that day? Bitcoin's price didn't affect anything to ETH's price, that's why it was stuck at $200 even though it could be higher. Please search more dude.

Poaching users from Bitcoin will not work for ever. If altcoins want to grow, then they need some merit on their own. Depending on Bitcoin for each and everything may not work. It might have worked in 2017, but now the users are more mature and they are not foolish enough to invest in shitcoins which don't have any real life usage. And this is true for all the altcoins, irrespective of their market cap or user base. Even established altcoins such as Ethereum and Litecoin face oblivion, if they fail to innovate and adapt.

While the altcoin market may not be dead the altcoins you are holding could be dead already, there are so many coins in the market that people do not really know which ones are good and which ones are bad and this is creating confusion and when you add the scammers into the mix then it is not strange at all that the market of altcoins seems to be paralyzed and I honestly do not see how this is going to be changed even if a bitcoin bull run happened tomorrow.

I agree. Even after so many downfall specially right after the bull run that happened way back 2017, together with the cases that involves most projects wherein Altcoins do came from. It is really a big struggle for all the Altcoins existing in the market to soar high making their prices to increase because Altcoins have been generalized to be all scams which is not really true that is why even the good, legible and trusted Altcoins are also getting affected because of those happenings. But even after those sufferings, Altcoins are still managing and making their ways to survive the challenges of being a cryptocurrency wherein what we can see is that potential and good coins do remain to exist and making their prices to increase as this year 2020 have got into our calendars, hoping that this year round, Altcoins can continue their journey of surviving to be better not just in terms of price but all the aspects needed to let them remain in the market.

Many believe that the Altcoin season will start this year, but I personally doubt that it will happen this year, except if later after Halving the price of Bitcoin increases dramatically then the Altcoin season is definitely coming. But I'm not sure the price of Altcoin will return and reach their new ATH.
