everyone i know is buying alts because its really a good way to make some more BTC
however it keeps going down and making everybody only lose BTC for the last 2 years..
the signs of bullishness they showed was a bull trap, now its going only more down
hopefully in 2020 we will have better performance in the altcoin market

Nope. I'm not buying altcoins since there are almost zero profits for buying altcoins. In the current market situation there very few people buying altcoins because altcoins are not profitable that is why many people prefer buying bitcoin because it is more profitable nowadays.

we cannot deny that fakeouts are indeed in altcoins specially those low volume currencies in which whales can easily move the prices Pumping and Dumping but don't forget that we had lots of currencies and tokens here in crypto space so pointing fingers in general is not a good idea

unfortunately, it will be difficult for us to choose potential altcoins that will grow with bitcoin in the coming pump market. the price is now a lot of cheap altcoins, but not all will have the same potential to be able to rise in the coming market growth.
many people will focus on the altcoin top market, but that also doesn't necessarily provide benefits. I am currently researching some new altcoins that might have potential for future increases. ONE, bcnx, and BXY. still in my study, and I haven't decided yet to buy which altcoin.

Buying altcoins when they are cheap can be a very profitable strategy, but such a strategy has a very obvious weakness, if the altcoin in which you invested crashes all the way down to zero then you will lose everything you invested in that coin, and I don't really think there are many investors that are prepared to buy an altcoin when is going down precisely because of that fear, so the strategy that you are suggesting cannot really be applied by everyone in the market.

Buying altcoin is still good especially if you going to buy good altcoin. I know many of us are holds different altcoins and even me I have altcoin in my wallet and I'm gonna sell it out once the price goes up. If you going to buy altcoin I highly suggest buying litecoin, ethereum, ripple, and binance coins and those altcoins are worth to buy and in fact, all of them are belong to the rank cryptocurrencies.

Shorting this market is incredibly dangerous, just look at what happened during the this day, anyone shorting the market probably lost a fortune in a matter of hours, and this is even more dangerous in this market for two reasons, bitcoin has a long term tendency to go up so if you short the market your chances of losing money are greater than the chances of earning money, and second the volatility is many times greater than in many other markets and you only need one mistaken prediction to lose most of your money.

No one wants to hear about altcoins because there is not money to be made there, and before anyone tells me that during the last months altcoins have given profits, they are right, but you could have made a lot more money if you were invested in bitcoin, when you understand this it is easy to see why no one is really interested in investing in those coins, once this changes I'm sure that you will see most investors regaining their interest for altcoins.

Altcoins are just coins that help you earn high profits in this market and very few coins can be applied in practice so I believe that when choosing altcoin investment, you need to consider carefully. The current crypto market is still in a downtrend so there will be a lot of volatility in the near future. We don't know for sure what will happen next but if you can choose a good altcoin in this market, your profit will be very high.

No, altcoins in general are not giving profits that is the issue, no one is interested in buying altcoins because you cannot really get any profits, anyone that bought bitcoins yesterday and sold it a few hours later would have got an incredible profits and despite that impressive growth that we have seen in bitcoin most altcoins didn't move or are even presenting losses, when you see that then it is easy to understand there is no incentive for investors to put their money in altcoins.

Their are lots of altcoins right now that we choose to buy and they already trusted and have some potential to increase the price in a future, But need some research of which good alts it is. Etherium its not new for crypto it has been long time publish from the market and one of the number two to CMC. If we want to find or buying some altcoins ill recommend for you to buy one of them and already or on the top 10 in CMC those altcoins are for a longterm investment.
