Well that depends on your on time when you invested on bitcoin early well your investment isn't a mistake but if you invested after the epic bull run and you managed to hold up this day well i think i think that 3000 usd profit is still good anyway, do not think that investing on bitcoin is mistake just hold on your bitcoin no matter what since the supply decreases every 4 years so, the price will rises (law of demand and supply).

Not yet make mistake with investing your money in bitcoin, maybe you buy bitcoin in $8k you can sell next month with higher price above $10k and more, you get much profit with your bitcoin investing.

Of course you don't, stop thinking that way. In every business or in every investment, there are ups and downs, there are risks and that's natural. Bitcoin investing is not different from them, maybe we can say that it was a little bit more risky because of the volatility but nonetheless it's the same. Keep in mind that the place/thing you are investing in is not an issue as long as it is legit, the future of your holdings still depend in your hands — on the way how you manage it.

Just to be clear all the people who have made a fortune or a sizable amount from bitcoin haven't started yesterday or last year or whenever the price started going up, they have invested and supported bitcoin since the early days,they stayed with it and believed in its cause though the bad times and the good times, so if you say that you made a mistake when you invested in bitcoin just because of a minor set back than this is not for you, bitcoin requires patience and a nerve of steel and if you stick with it it will reward you.

I didn't make a mistake investing in bitcoin, and I don't have to regret it. But I don't know with the other people because we have a different time to investing in bitcoin. Some of us are investing in bitcoin when the price is very low, and the other people are investing in bitcoin when the price at a very high. So no matter how they invest in bitcoin, we cannot blame them. That will be their decision to invest in bitcoin, but after all, they didn't make a mistake too.

I'll answer with my position now who can be say as investor bitcoin although I just store a little money on it but I have comfortable feeling.
You didn't do mistake when you choose bitcoin as your investment place, even I would say bitcoin is one of the promising place to be choose as a tool to storing your money.
Although, you will find some people who say bitcoin is as a way to double money quickly but I just give you a suggestion don't make it as a benchmark.
But made it as a reference to keep your positive behavior when bitcoin price going down so as you will be safe to make a stupid decision when you seeing it.
I have done that so far, so as when panic selling coming up I just calm down and let it happened.

I don't think at this point anyone should be worried whether or not investing in bitcoin was/is a good idea. I think we have legit passed that stage now. It is no news that Bitcoin is the ultimate coin in the cryptocurrency industry, and it is safe to say that it is one of the top rated, and as a matter of fact, safest coin to invest in.

Making a bitcoin investment is not easy. At least you should make proper market research before making any investment. I don't think now is a good time for starters to invest in bitcoin because the cryptocurrency market is unstable, no one knows what would happen tomorrow. It's better to invest in bitcoin when the market is less volatile. |

only if you expected to invest , say , 50.000$ at 10k , then wait a month , sell at 11.000$ and be happy with that then this would be a mistake , since investing in bitcoin should be considered a longterm investment with very volatile periods it is not uncommon for bitcoin price to fluctuate 10-50% , some price drops can be really disheartening but if you are in for a longterm , bitcoin investment is one of the most profitable it made 100005 + in several years and the chances are it can make even more in all of the years to come |

Yes he should first research before he invest in something, if he want to learn he should atleast learn how to invest what he can afford to lose, well I see that he does not learn this one, he need more patience and need more knowledge regarding crypto world in order for him to realize and learn. The first mistake you will do is if you invest on a thing that you did not study or research before you put your money to it. |

Now, before allowing anyone buy bitcoin through me, I sit them down and make them write down the risk associated with bitcoin investment as regards it high volatility. If they are comfortable with it, I help them out. This decision I took because of 2017 crash which saw my portfolio and that of my student went down. So I ensure no one is told any lie.

Investing in bitcoin is one of the best moment of my life and I know once you invest in bitcoin your money is not wasted. Maybe some of investors are now regret because they invested on bitcoin but for me there is nothing to worry or to regret. Hence, in the future they will surprise that bitcoin will become valuable and on that day some of them will have great future and life simply because they invested on bitcoin. Just be happy that you have invested in bitcoin.

If you feel doubt about in Bitcoin even a little bit, I could say that you are making a mistake investing in Bitcoin. Because earning it is not just an easy things as what others thinking. You need to accept things once you decide to invest in bitcoin, if you use in a wrong way you could lose you chance to earn it. Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. It’s still a very young, raw asset. Most of us OG’s have made huge profits but it wasn’t quick. With extreme patience & the power of HODLING comes big rewards.
If you bought today for example & HODL for 18 months it could be the best thing you ever do.
Just don’t expect to buy today & get rich overnight, it doesn’t happen. People with zero patience who’ve read about getting rich quick with bitcoin shouldn’t bother if they haven’t got the balls to HODL through tough times. Nothing good in life ever comes easily.
Most of the people that doesn't have patient and wanted to get rich real quick is the kind of people that are scammers prey. Those kind of people believe in anything as long as it is about making easy money, doubling up their money and so on, and this is the mistake that you OP want to avoid at all cost. Investing in bitcoin is a real deal but be patient enough and trust bitcoin's capability to give you profits. TBH with such a high volatility, crypto can earn you huge profits if trading is done wisely. Similarly, the high volatility and uncertainity can lead to huge losses. Most of the new traders usually jump in crypto for making easy money because cryptos are being portrayed like this globally. The problem isn't crypto or its volatility. Problem is with the people who know nothing about trading but still jump in. Making money is easy in crypto but for that knowledge is the key which people usually overlook. |

Its all about time, remember years ago some guys was very happy selling his bitcoins at 1 usd, also people who bought at 100 usd thought they make a big mistake, dont know at what price you bought, but remember, is its all about time, try to average down if you still have some funds, or wait for low price, thing is nobody really knows how low can go bitcoin or when the price start to go up again, dont be desperate, remember one of the rules of crypto is Buy Low and Sell High. Investing in bitcoin is not a mistake and unless you bought btc at 20000$ and sold at 7000$ There is nothing to regret. Price vulnerability is constant lately due to bitcoin adoption processes; as bitcoin grows and gets accepted; it will be better and price improved When investing; ignore today and look to what the future brings |

We should be especially careful when investing money. My advice to those who want to invest in bitcoin is to study its chart and buy at a cheap price.
