You have save your asset safety than you hold or save using money in the bank, with bitcoin your money always growing every day depend on how bitcoin price always grow up and higher. If you have a time make a research all about bitcoin, it’s feedback from the users so you will know it’s benefits. If you read some statement about bitcoin from others you will understand. The fact that price is volatile still we could earn from bitcoin. You did not make a wrong move in investing in bitcoin if buying at this time still you can earn if you can wait for the increase of price. If in doubt do not invest yet gather some information about btc.

Most people invest into bitcoins because they heard about the success story of someone making an enormous profit after their investment, they therefore rushed and buy a huge amount of Bitcoins and hope to see their profits rising in the shortest possible time but that is not the way that it works reaping the benefits of investing into cryptos takes time and a lot of patience and if you are an investor wondering if you made a mistake then i will say that you have to be patient.

The answer to your question depends on you... Weren't you aware of the advantages and disadvantages of investing in Crypto and still went ahead to invest? If yes, why then are you asking this? You know the price goes up and down. If no, why did you invest in the first place without knowing how it works?
I would advice that you know how the market works in order not to be afraid or worried.

It all depends on your position on this account and the entry point. If you are an early investor in bitcoin, then you have already multiplied the invested profit many times.
If it’s late, then as bitcoin develops, you can also get rich, provided that you have enough time and patience to wait for the right moment, because Bitcoin is not a stable asset.

Investing in bitcoin is never a mistake because it can provide you a fortune but please know that you can’t get rich with bitcoin overnight. It is not like Ponzi scams that promise investors high returns in a short period of time. Bitcoin market is very unpredictable and it takes patience. Patience not only in understanding the advantages and disadvantages but also patience with the price trend that fluctuates almost every hour.
Bitcoin is the best long term investment for me, we may see now that it is around $8k but I know in the coming days, weeks, months or perhaps a year, it will again rise up.

Bitcoin is a very high risk investment option. There is a good chance that your investment can give you 10x or even 25x returns within less than 3 years. But at the same time, there is an even greater chance that your investment may become worthless within the same duration. You might have researched about the risk factor before making this investment. One thing I have told to those who wanted to invest in Bitcoin is that they should invest only as much as they could afford to lose. I have seen a few threads here, where the users were claiming that they sold their house and invested in Bitcoin with whatever they got from the sale. I would never condone such actions. On the contrary, I would say that no more than 10% of your portfolio should be made up of Bitcoin (not applicable in case you had initially invested a small amount and later it grew to a large portion of your portfolio). |

Of course not. Its like about two years since my first btc investment. I gradually selling and buying it until I got the right price. Its better to have part of your fund to be invested in btc rather than nothing at all. You can diversify your assets to be able to grow it whichever it may flourish.
But you forgot to understand how risk possible happens is. Investing in bitcoin is not a mistake decision, despite this is a good opportunity, but as I say you need to know how risky it is. Well to those people who are new to bitcoin it's normal to be afraid but in the long run, you'll be able to get used to it. Bitcoin is not like fiat. Its value is volatile so it may rise or fall from time to time. All you need to do is to patiently wait for its value to rise up again. |

1. When did you bought bitcoin ?
2. I hope you didin't bought what you can't afford to loose
3. What is your investment plan ? Short or long term ?
4. Bitcoin always recovers or at least until now it did.
5. Don't get impatient regarding price and don't panic sell.
This steps could help you to put everything in balance and make a wise decision next time if you panic bought during bull run.
In the long run you'll be fine because Bitcoin is here to stay and only a few % of the world population is using bitcoin so this we're all the early adopters of Bitcoin and Blockchain even if we joined in 2011, 2013 , 2015 or 2019.

If you feel doubt about in Bitcoin even a little bit, I could say that you are making a mistake investing in Bitcoin. Because earning it is not just an easy things as what others thinking. You need to accept things once you decide to invest in bitcoin, if you use in a wrong way you could lose you chance to earn it. But if you do the right things to use it accordingly, I can guarantee you that you can earn good in the end for sure in bitcoin. OP seems to be worried for the sudden decreased in price of bitcoin. But everyone is actually worried, but as we said, profit does not happen overnight and it takes a lot of time before having a profit. Good things come to those who wait, OP didnt make a mistake, waiting for the market to recover will take time. We all know that a few months later, it will start to recover from now. |

I am sure OP can be patient like other people because the patient is needed in waiting for the price back to the higher price. As long as he can hold his coin, he will make a profit, and maybe the market will change this month. So there is nothing to worry about or afraid, just follow the market moves and enjoy the ride. We all now have the same experience in waiting for the market back, and we have time to see the profit. |

Investing on bitcoin with your right mindset was never a mistake because you do buy bitcoin to support it and you believe you will earn money. I know many people lose their money because they only think to earn money within a week after investing, if you really want to make money then know how to play with the risk. Indeed ! We need to have a mindset like that. If we will have a regret in everything that we are investing for, then in the future we will regret the we put our money on it. Market may dump , its normal, sometimes we will lose some of our money because of the dump but we need to endure it and understand. Take the risk and be a long term hodler , soon you will get more money than your invesment. |

My answer would be like this. Everything in life has risks, especially Bitcoin. As the old saying goes, "Invest what you can afford to lose" or "Invest at your own risk". I understand how new investors feel when they decide to get into Bitcoin, no matter what amount did they put in. It's all about changing the perspective by looking on the positive from the negative. Like if Bitcoin falls, they should think of it as an opportunity to buy more or risking it not to see that price again for a very long time. Before new investors would invest in Bitcoin, they need to be educated and equipped if something happens to its price (whether if it's going up or down in value). Either way, they should be ready (especially their emotions and how to overcome them). Just my two sats. |

Yes you are mistaken in investing in bitcoin. You are mistaken on your mentality thinking that bitcoin is an instant rich scheme. You cannot be winning all your trades in bitcoin by night. Although that could happen but during a sudden rise.
Remember also that bitcoin is not risk-free. You are risking your own money in bitcoin. So, the thing you should do is study first bitcoin and about its volatility.
