My answer would be like this. Everything in life has risks, especially Bitcoin. As the old saying goes, "Invest what you can afford to lose" or "Invest at your own risk". I understand how new investors feel when they decide to get into Bitcoin, no matter what amount did they put in.

It's all about changing the perspective by looking on the positive from the negative. Like if Bitcoin falls, they should think of it as an opportunity to buy more or risking it not to see that price again for a very long time.

Before new investors would invest in Bitcoin, they need to be educated and equipped if something happens to its price (whether if it's going up or down in value). Either way, they should be ready (especially their emotions and how to overcome them). Just my two sats.

If you never take risks you will never get a big reward. Risk is good and so is a failure. People fear failure and think they are a loser if they fail but it is not true. Failing is just another way to learn and teach yourself one more way of how not to do something. Nothing happens if you never take risks.

My first question to you is that how well do you know and understand what investing means?  You shouldn't invest into something just cause people are investing into it. With bitcoin investment, you need to understand the basic factors that influence the changes in the market value of Bitcoin and also the basic principles of cryptocurrency investing...

I say OP did not make a mistake. We are still in a very early stage. We are smaller than companies like Apple and Amazon and this is something so important that will change the world. Amazon isn't even available in every country but Bitcoin is. Some countries have banned it but you still can get it there by registering in a foreign exchange or getting to know a trader.

LOL, I don't understand your statement, You said that bitcoin has no right time to invest in and after that, you claim that buying and selling needs a right time, I don't really understand your claim. Investing in bitcoin is buying bitcoins and If we are talking about investment, Managing investment is a part of it. Managing investment does fall apart on different things but trading the investment asset is one of the things that needed to be done to have a successful investment specially on the digital assets.

If you feel doubt about in Bitcoin even a little bit, I could say that you are making a mistake investing in Bitcoin.
Because earning it is not just an easy things as what others thinking. You need to accept things once you decide to invest
in bitcoin, if you use in a wrong way you could lose you chance to earn it. But if you do the right things to use it accordingly,  I can
guarantee you that you can earn good in the end for sure in bitcoin.

OP seems to be worried for the sudden decreased in price of bitcoin. But everyone is actually worried, but as we said, profit does not happen overnight and it takes a lot of time before having a profit. Good things come to those who wait, OP didnt make a mistake, waiting for the market to recover will take time. We all know that a few months later, it will start to recover from now.

That is normal if OP feels worried, but he can manage his feeling to stay calm. I am sure OP can be patient like other people because the patient is needed in waiting for the price back to the higher price. As long as he can hold his coin, he will make a profit, and maybe the market will change this month. So there is nothing to worry about or afraid, just follow the market moves and enjoy the ride. We all now have the same experience in waiting for the market back, and we have time to see the profit.

The dip is quite frustrating sometimes but if we'll look back in the history of bitcoin, we could notice that long hold is the best decision that we can do to gain a good profit. Its emission is limited and this gives hope for its growth in the future. But no one will give anyone guarantees. Its volatility on the swings can last for years and decades. It is true that as an investor, you should be really patient. But if you are just patient and no nothing of what will happen and what might happen, you might just wait until you want to but you should also earn yourself knowledge about what you are investing in. The important thing to ask is whether you invest for the right reesons.
You see, if you invest to make money in short term. Then the answer will hang on when you invested. Certainly if you invested in January 2018 then, like me you made a mistake.
But if you invested in march 2019, then you are not mistaken.

When you invest for long run, then you don't need to care about small things like this. Just ride it out for sure you will make profit. Then you did not make mistake.

I think you did not made a mistake if you invested to the bitcoin when the value is very low but many people are do mistake because the time when they invested is not the right time or the price is very high. But if they wait for sure the price will turn back like $20,000 more and they earn even a little profit.  But the time for now is good chance to get more bitcoin because it's $8000.
