If you choose to invest in bitcoin, in my opinion is the right choice and most importantly you have to study it first and understand it well and about bitcoin because digital assets are very volatile and prices can change significantly.
it's about investing and there will definitely be risks, most importantly you make purchases and sales at the right time so you get a profit.

I think, every time we invest there will certainly be a risk. I agree with you we must do the risert and learn before you start investing or trading.

We can't just go run with a blindfold on and entrust our lives in luck, that is a very stupid way on making our lives a successful one. NO ONE HAS DONE ANY MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN. Trust me bitcoin is a life changing technology and today or tomorrow it will surely go up and break 20k. 20k is just a last high and we have big mountains yet to come after this.

If you have invested when btc was at 19k then maybe you have done a mistake because you have lost returns of those 5 precious years when btc is in bear mode but if you have invested anywhere near 10k mark then there is no problem we will soon surpass that mark.

Investing in Bitcoin has never been so wrong because it has so much to offer in the future and if you ever bought Bitcoin during it's high peak and seeing the price now makes you feel that investing in Bitcoin is big a mistake, well you are totally wrong because you just made a poor judgement or bad decision that time. Then one should have the patience as well as should be very careful while investing as you're new to the community. More scammers will attract with schemes that give very big multiples upon investing. Don't get greedy and fall as a prey. Think and do the right thing at the right time.

Personally, I think BTC has some issues that could prevent it from growing further. Mainly 1 MB blocks and Proof of Work.

I don't understand what you mean when you said there's some issues that could prevent bitcoin from growing further. But, the issues of the limit of blocks size was the reason why SegWit was implemented. However, I don't see something really bad in POW since it impossible for a malicious miner to attack the network but miners participation is limit.

Lol if you are contented in small profit from Time to time short term for bitcoin is profitable,looks the market this past days when bitcoin is going up a little and going down as well,those movements is enough to gain small percentage but safer.

Before investing in bitcoin, you must learn it well because mistakes or truths in investing occur because of your own actions and you control it yourself, not bitcoin or someone else.
and the basis for investing in bitcoin is buying when prices go down and reselling them when going up, and investing in the short term to get a little profit and long term to get a big profit.
so the position of bitcoin up or down has no effect and you alone must be smart and wise in using it.

In long term view the Bitcoin story looks good:
-a lot of developers work on upgrading technology
-lightning network is functional
-it is used like currency more and more with time
-the number of BTC is finite, and the more the people use it, the price will grow more and more

On the other side there are some dangers to BTC:
-other cryptocurrecies (not really serious danger, because BTC network is most developed)
-development of quantum computers that could endanger security of BTC network

That being said I recommend hodling your funds (and using them when price gets higher)

You definitely didn't make mistake by investing in BTC,  and best is to focus only on that when it comes to crypto investments. But i would suggest that you don't focus only on BTC. Gold is also very good option, and in the long term pretty safe. At least that is what i am doing, buying gold coins and small gold bars.

If you ask ordinary people, surely they will say you made a mistake investing in Bitcoin!!  I make sure you don't make the mistake of investing in Bitcoin.  when the circulation of Bitcoin has reached 21 million coins (8 - 12 years into the future), Bitcoin will be one of the most valuable virtual assets in the world.  IMO, maybe it will offset the precious diamond.

For everyone that really understand the cryptocurrency behavior, I think that this should actually be there main target for the future, I mean that the time bitcoin will reach its high supply, because that is the moment that the journey for bitcoin value actually begins, whales will no longer see much coin to buy to manipulate the market.

Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. It’s still a very young, raw asset. Most of us OG’s have made huge profits but it wasn’t quick. With extreme patience & the power of HODLING comes big rewards.

If you bought today for example & HODL for 18 months it could be the best thing you ever do.

Just don’t expect to buy today & get rich overnight, it doesn’t happen. People with zero patience who’ve read about getting rich quick with bitcoin shouldn’t bother if they haven’t got the balls to HODL through tough times. Nothing good in life ever comes easily.

It's not a mistake if you explore more inside this market and not alone being focus with bitcoin, while holding your bitcoin there's also trading
where you can use to increase your assets, find time to maximize potentials and don't hesitate to try other things instead of worrying from
what you are seeing around. It's just part of the cycle try to overcome and you'll see that it will benefits you.

Regarding to other investment venue, That's also possible to divert your attention if you are getting boring with crypto investing.
