I am going to disagree on your statement, I've never seen gold's price hit $20,000 for its whole time existence, hence, I see bitcoin's price hit that price in the year 2017, although it was just invented way back 2019, 10 years ago, it is not that long for me, compare to gold.

The Volatility of cryptocurrency to gold is incomparable, so don't expect too much on golds and other precious metals on price changers after years.

Thinking deeply about this, for me time isn't the most important factor to consider when investing. It is the 'Timing' when you are about to invest because basically we can say most of the time that it is the time for bull run, it is the time for bearish, and it is the time to invest but the fact that profit could be achieve is when you know the timing, you could invest in bearish time if you know the proper timing to invest and timing to sell the crypto you bought. In that regards, no matter if the season is positive or declining, earning money from investment is still possible.

It was a good opportunity to invest in my opinion since the market price of bitcoin was low and when the market recovers it is surely a good profit earn.
You need to study the bitcoin market price if you want to invest so that you could easily invest in bitcoin.
