If you made an investment in Bitcoin because you thought that it is alway profitable, then it is a mistake. You need to choose a right time when the price drop. I notice that new investors and newbies in crypto world has the reason in joining because they taught that it is profitable and they can get a big profit easily which is wrong that's why most of them face failure in crypto world and will blame the crypto and other sites that it is a scam which is very wrong. In fact, it's their fault why they face some situation as that because they don't get to know what crypto is and how it works out of greedy in money they enter into a world that they don't have a prior knowledge about it, working to earn in crypto is not that easy, and there's no such easy and free earning, veterans in crypto knows it best, and I also know how hard it is. They, we should know that as long as we are in the crypto world, we need also to continuously learn and explore. Let's not stop in one place, or we will never make progress. |

The bitcoin price went up too high, and then the bitcoin price fell too low. Altcoins have lost much more value. Now I look back. Bitcoin is still very strong. I think getting a bitcoin is a sensible investment. People need reasons to re-enter the market.

You need to choose a right time when the price drop. in investing bitcoin then we really need to have the ability, because it is quite difficult to invest in it. if the market is not profitable it will be more difficult and our abilities must also be used, don't look for profit if we don't understand the right way to invest, at least have to do a little research first. |

That is why many people lose their capital in bitcoin. They think that they will be profitable once they lend the money in cryptocurrency. They don't know that it goes down also. And anytime, they will lose their capital. Bitcoin is a volatile investment and it requires a perfect timing. Because you need to buy when it goes low and sell it when it moves up. |

All investment can be considered sensible as long as we research it and we take care of it by monitoring and seeing how it will develop, we mainly need to be responsible enough to look and gathered details whether the prices will rise up or not as bitcoin is too volatile to hold. |

Well, it will only be a mistake if you've done your investment wrong. Bitcoin can be beneficial if you are strategically doing your part on how you earn money but if you are very careless or clueless on what you are doing, you will find as a waste of time and money only and will start considering your investment as a mistake. Bitcoin has a very volatile value so it really required great patience and perseverance on how you can make money out of your investments from it. |

I don't think so. But, if you're investing in Bitcoin when the price so high and you want to sell it at a low price then you've made a mistake. My thought is Bitcoin price will increase because the bullish is coming this year (according to some expert prediction). We'll see about it.
Every trader always aims to the goal to have a good market value and profit. But not all of the trader succeed on their trading because on some many issues like they skipped the opportunity to buy or their make a wrong prediction about the market price of the particular coin. All of us can make a mistake but still, we are heading towards to earn profit use the mistakes to get more knowledge and experience to avoid mistakes in the future by this we can now be a good trader. One of the best teacher is your own experience. |

I didn't read this whole thread so apologies in advance if this has been said.
If someone were to ask me the question "DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN?" My reply woud be: Yes, you most certainly have and your risk is great.
It would be far more beneficial to yourself and the community to do more research on understanding the fundamental idea of Bitcoin and why its here. Its a long journey for most and can take many months/years to get grasp of. If you still want to continue to invest after this, next is to asses a position that comfortably fits your risk profile understanding that its very likely that your position will be underwater at some point and your convictions leading to your question will be tested.
This question will not need to be asked if you've approached Bitcoin after due diligence, you will know whether or not its for you.
I usually like to point out that most traders 90%+ lose value trying to trade Bitcoin and alts.

I don't understand why people who don't trust the asset they are investing, end up investing.
If you did a mistake, then you should just get out of the trade instead of asking it on the forum. You should have done your research before investing. Price is highly volatile. People panic. It's your money and you are the best judge. None of us who are replying here have anything to do with your money. Make a decision and stick to it.

Well, it's natural to feel this way since thats our profit and it is natural to feel regret when you put something and didn't get the expectation that you have set and I also feel this at some point but I always remember there is no success on keeping yourself in your comfort zome Bitcoin is risk itself and whenever we put a certain amount here remember to consider it as gone already in this mentality we can prevent ourselves to excessively put the assets that we have that we can't actually put to risk. |

All investment platforms are requiring us to take risk, if we are to ask a question are we making mistakes investing in bitcoin it could probably be yes at some point, and no. Why I am saying yes is because our rival here is not bitcoin itself, but the time and timing we have to invest our funds onto it. It is never a mistake to risk, but if we are risking and letting ourselves to really lose in the market then that is regretful. Bitcoin is already providing us with hints on how we could win and be happy by using it. We just need to be aware of that and stop being someone who's goal is to find an investment that returns easy money.
