Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration

How many of you guys have listened to OP advice? i hope you don't, the little recovery that happened yesterday makes all altcoins turned greenish on coinmarketcap, the fact is crypto will remain unpredictable so better hold on to your precious altcoins and be brave

Better to sell while you can rather then selling it when it dropping.. I would sell all my altcoins and buying some top 10 coins on coinmarketcap. I would not dare to hodl any new tokens cause it always failed and dying faster then the top 10 coins on coinmarketcap.

When compared to new tokens or tokens that we get from doing bounty hunting, I would also prefer to invest into the top 10 coins in the coinmarketcap compared to new tokens or tokens that we get from bounty hunting because these tokens sometimes only become rubbish and pile up inside a wallet and this ends up just being useless.

that means if you have deal with all of the risks that you have been investing on it. I have been getting some of my investments are turning into the zero value right now and i guess you don't wanna to see that if that thing ever happened with you. I regret my choice in the past

As much as I could have loved to go with this advice, it doesn't apply to all cases. It would have been better to lose all than getting back just $1000 from and investment that got up to $1,000,000 from you. Losing all will be preferable.

I started this thread in October. Most altcoins lost some value since then. So it wasn't too late to sell then and it's probably still not too late.

As much as I could have loved to go with this advice, it doesn't apply to all cases. It would have been better to lose all than getting back just $1000 from and investment that got up to $1,000,000 from you. Losing all will be preferable.

In what way is $0 better than $1000?

If your tokens have lose value much its better to keep holding, it doesn't make sense to sell coin that once worth 100$ for 1$ because you want to safe yourself the frustration

You know how this is going to end. You might be trying to lie to yourself, you might be secretly hoping that some token in your "portfolio" that you have 10 million of is going to moon to $50 and make you rich, but let's be real: that is not going to happen. Even the allegedly strong altcoins like LTC or ETH or whatever is cool these days (I've been out of this game for a while) are not doing well and BTC dominance is growing. Which makes sense if you think about it. BTC can do most of what any altcoin can do and the few really useful features that BTC is missing (private transactions for example) are implemented by multiple altcoins, fragmenting their market share.

And the elephant in the room: 99% of altcoins are total garbage. They're called shitcoins for a reason.

Sell your altcoins and tokens. Take the proceeds in BTC, stick it into a cold wallet, keep some online to play around with Lightning and other things that actually matter for real-life stuff, like being able to buy something. When was the last time you were able to use for example Ethereum for something tangible, not to buy some garbage tokens or to play a game?

Do it today. Your grandkids will thank you.

You are giving information that we should followed during the bear market. Now this could be foolish things you have ever done. Altcoins price is the dead end. You can do it, if you have altcoins to sell and again invest in Binance IEO. You will tell to hold altcoins when altcoins price will run as ThoreCoin. Now Bitcoin dominance so your suggestion for Bitcoin as once for Binance coin.

I have several altcoins from the bounty and some of them are still in my wallet because there is no exchange yet and some of the prices are very cheap which are listed on small exchanges, so I can't do anything because if they are sold now the price is not much, I can only wait, if I'm lucky who knows there is a coin that enter into a large exchange and the price is good. Maybe this is my dream now. But besides that I hold bitcoin and not much.

I still collect some low cap coins but I do my due diligence now and I also day trade as well, so I can make profits and grow Bitcoin and some stable coins backed by gold. I have one project I have good faith in because of the diminishing supply and will also buy some coins that give dividends, like passive income. I am looking into Nexo token to earn two dividends annually. So there are a few very good projects but I have to agree, a lot of cryptos are 'shitcoinia', and best to avoid, or just day trade for profits, if they have enough liquidity to trade them. I am collecting a couple of bags though of two/three good projects that I do believe have humongous long term upside potential, but this time accumulating BTC on the dips as well, so I can hedge, and some stable coins that earn me interest as well. The bank gives me squat so I hardly have FIAT at all, I only have fiat for buying basic stuff, as I get paid in Bitcoin from my day job, so I just convert what I need to live on lol.

Yeah, it id good to keep holding as selling now will be bad for your investment as price is not good to sell your coin and selling early means selling for panic which is the worst thing for crypto investors. Now it is time to keep holding as only weak and unaware people will feel frustration about the falling price because wise people know taking advantage and buy more at a low price.

It has indeed been frustrating, holding altcoin and seeing the value diminishing daily. I wished, I sold out much earlier when the value was a bit higher. I would have to wait for the value to have a turn around, I believe there's great possibility in the cryptocurrency market and the value of altcoin would appreciate in no distant time.

Today it is difficult to get rid of the disappointment that I did not sell altcoins at a very good price in 2017-2018 and therefore I want to hope to return at least half of the cost of altcoins. But yes, fooling yourself with hopes for a repeat of the growth of altcoins is not the best approach to investing.

Oh! Wow! This is good advice! I've already been frustrated when bitcoin fell and caused a domino effect for some of my altcoins and they couldn't get up. And they were as you say "shitcoins" but I am optimistic I am following 4 altcoins because I want to support them because they offer solutions for real problems. Bitcoin and Ethereum for me are inseparable they will always be in my portfolio. And as you well say we must think about our grandchildren, I have also done it. That is my vision. I like your idea. It is real that you should not stick to the day-to-day saying that hold your altcoins as they will reach the moon soon. Rather be practical. As the market is indicating, BTC was, is and will be the hero coin. So why holding all the shitcoins? Instead, sell your altcoins at whatever price you get and invest the money into BTC. It will recover your loss.

I always do this when i get tokens from airdrops and bounty. This is worth of me because many tokens price always dump before list in exchange.
But this is only for new tokens before list in exchange. Difference with old token, i only sell when the price is pump or when i need money.

I agree that 99% altcoin is shitcoin. With nearly 5,000 altcoins, I think only a few altcoins can last for the long term. Altcoin, whose developer team looks inactive, should be sold and replaced with Bitcoin or the top 10 coinmarketcaps.

LOL... have you checked the BNB charts lately? It's value has gone down from $38 per coin (June 2019) to $14 as of now. During the last two months, BNB prices have fallen by more than 30%. If you check my previous posts on BNB, you can find that I have always stated that BNB is an over-priced coin. My statement has been confirmed by the recent price movements. And IMO, the worst is not yet over for BNB. It will continue to decline for some more time.
