Why do people easily get scammed on the internet?

Because it is much easier to trust somebody instead of being suspicious and check every aspect before sending your money into something. Laziness and greed are the most popular reasons for people being scammed.

Lamest excuse I've ever hear, stupid rather. It is your job to figure out everything that here in the world of cryptocurrency or even in the actual world, especially if you are getting some gut feeling that a certain person is a scammer, you could smell it by the way. Scammers can't provide proof of legitimacy so you better ask it first to confirm if they could really be trusted.

You cannot be a lazy person when we are talking about money, it is hard to earn money and it is so easy to be scam.

I think because not all internet user has enough knowledge of different type of network or maybe about cryptocurrency or investment projects, others depends only on what they read or saw in the internet that's why they are being scamed.

That's for sure, friend. I also think people's awareness is lacking in finding out every offer that comes to them. Not only on the internet.

OP hit the nail on the head. Greed and laziness are the banes to being scammed. Also I will add incontendness. Although someone can be scammed for the first time due to lack of adequate knowledge but he should learn a vital lesson from it and not fall victim again.

The answer to that is very easy.... FOMO and Greed.
Unfortunately some people still fall into the trap when they hear random people shilling the same project over and over again and after a while, the pressure builds and they feel they can make a fast buck with itt and sometimes it ends up badly, to avoid it, you have to DYOR and avoid greed.

Lack of knowledge is the fruit of laziness, because if you are not lazy then you must have enough knowledge on the internet and cyber world because you will do a proper research on how internet works and what you can do in the internet. for beginners I think it is indeed the target of fraud projects, but when they stay focused the experience will multiply and make someone smarter in managing the project they want to invest in.

It's due to many reason, some of them are blind trust on people on other end person. Half of the people use the internet as a median for scamming, because they don't know their accurate location and all. Remaining people change their mind without paying, after their work was completed. The fact is risk in everything, but you need to be wise in all aspects.

I entreat all of us to be on the look out for scan projects, make our findings and proof beyound doubts their scam intentions and also avoid been greedy when making an inveatment

Never analyze about some ICOs or altcoin project before investing, many people just get recommendation from the other to invest with some altcoin or ICOs project, never check details about how trusted or ICOs project for investing, will give opportunity to earn profit or lost money with ICOs, just trust with some one ask him for investing there and never want to get reviews first with their project investment.

Lacking of common sense is one thing, having no capability of determining whether such kind of promise is just imaginary or too good to be true is another thing. Most of people are already put a suspicion when they are being shoved with such promises but there's always some people that could lure them into investing anyway. Those people are taking advantage of the greedines of their victim therefore even if they got common sense they will still get tricked. I've seen too much people being tricked that way despite the many news that highlight this kind of scam they'd still think that some might be a real thing.

Maybe you can add, lack of knowledge about technology. Most people has the money to invest but lacks knowledge on what and where they are going to be involved to. Not understanding the whole scope of the project, the purpose and it's potential. Main scam presence reason is people's greed of course, that's true

Nothing can be done for people like that, people need to understand that those that got huge success during their lives are those that work really hard for what they have.

You cannot really obtain something for nothing, no ones gives money away just because, we need to work for it, even those which are capable to obtain profits from icos are not obtaining money for nothing they are using their knowledge to tell which coins will go up in value and invest early, if anything they are taking a huge risk because if they are wrong they can lose most of their money.
