Discipline certainly helps to minimize your losses if not maximize your profits. Discipline with respect to your frequency of playing, medium of gambling , moves to counter others on the table etc. certainly help in gambling. Also, setting your timely budget for gambling and sticking to it will definitely help you perform better and rest can be left onto your luck

in all aspects of life discipline is what we need to be successful ,because without this we will become greedy,careless and possessive things that brings people to fail in each steps they do in life
if we can only bring part of our money to gamble then we can save tons of money our whole career and may prevent us from being poor(because that will be the end if we dont)
i have known some people that has no discipline when in gambling ,he started with good work and a happy family until he turns addicted,now he was fired from the job and his wife is planning to leave him as he cannot provide for the family now.so indeed its the discipline will save us here

Yes you are right i remember when i first play gambling games i nearly got addicted because in whole day the thing i hold is my computer playing and betting in casino sites and yes i waste too much money and regret about it later so from that i set my discipline which is only gamble the money that i can afford, yes gambling is fun but without emotional and mental control it can lead to a wrong path. Yeah it can help but to avoid regrets and massive losses only. Yes, Discipline is one of the fundamentals in gambling which every gambler should have. but it doesn't mean you are better at gambling than others.

gambling is not as easy as ABC it is a mental game having mental strength means having more opportunities to win.

Well, we have the same perspective way of what is discipline. This is something to guide us and controls us from chasing money or even greediness. Once you have self-discipline you enlightened from those emotions. There are gamblers that don't have probably discipline in their selves because they had end up nothing on gambling and lost everything. These kinds of people should be guided by those gamblers that can able to minimized everything because of the word "discipline".

Limiting your exposure is crucial. Set the amount and stick to it. For example if you go to physical casino, take $100 in cash with you and leave credit cards at home. Everything else is just a matter of entertainment.

Yes I think you should be disciplined , that is to say you need to have a good money management.
So you should calculate what will be your losses on a bet if you lose and how much you can afford to lose while still being covered by a winning bet.

OP is seeking discipline from gambling, and I think that if a person is really disciplined he would not take gambling in the first place, Because gambling is a Risk magnet and it will certainly cater a lot of losses if this is the mindset for people then I guess there isn't someone that will play gambling and casino anymore, but a person if they had discipline in taking money for granted I think he will have a great time in making the right decision even if you are the one that is playing in a casino, I guess discipline is really needed, A good decision can not blur your choices when it comes to gambling.
