One answer i do know regarding to this which people who sell out their coins are staying up on stable coins or on cash.Where they didnt tend to switch to alts after they do make some profits on trading btc and since its on sideways they are just waiting for bottom and tries to re-enter again.Its doesnt always happen when you do see bitcoins price is stagnant and price of alts do rise and sometimes they do move on the same time or just opposing to each other.Disappointed? Get used to it because crypto investments can break your heart anytime.

You cannot complain about the top altcoins in the market as they have a clear path, i am not expecting much development in ETH and other similar coins but the rest i am expecting some movement once the bitcoin market rallies but do not think that is the same with the token market, i will be surprised if any of the tokens will increase even during a rally.

Well, we are humans and get worried when our holdings don't give profit just be patient.

I think that technological development does not affect much in investment because if that coin is not of interest to everyone, it will certainly never increase. Every volatility of this market is very much dependent on Bitcoin and this trend has remained for the past 2 years so I cannot trust altcoins during this time. You can choose to invest to make a profit but will not be able to hold for long because the current market is still very risky.

Investment decisions need to be considered many times because most people make their own mistakes and not everyone can predict exactly what will happen next in this market.

That would be a problem if he holds a bag of shitcoins. But he will not be the first one with a bag full with wrong coins, many people get disappointed after bad investment. Holding good coins is alright, they bounce back eventually, bitcoin will bounce back to previous ath and more, but some shitcoins can just go deeper, there`s no bouncing back for many of them.
Many are disappointed, but some are making money on this fluctuations, at least they are good for something.

I don't know which of the altcoin are you refering to is it ETH, LTC or BCH or XRP these coins pumped with bitcoin their movement correlates with that of bitcoin maybe the OP is referring to shit coins whose projects are not well defined as far as altcoins is concerned these are the major ones that worth investing in else investing in an unknown and with little potential coin is very risky.
