Altcoin's price is disappointing!!!

To be honest, altcoin no longer has potential in the market anymore because of the restraint of big brother BTC.  Ever since the Bakk incident made me remove altcoins from my portfolio.  Currently, I only focus on BTC and exploit this potential coin.

actually altcoin still has potential but not much, if you invest better don't focus on just one coin, choose a few more to add to the most important portfolio don't too much too. if you invest all your funds in one coin I think is less than the maximum for income, but all that is your choice back

it could happen but we have to wait for the bitcoin pump first, maybe for a very difficult time to predict but if btc can pump even higher then altcoin can follow the price. I hope this can really be repeated again

What makes you think the top 100 coins will all get pumped.  If it was an assurity then you would assume everyone would be piling all their bits into it.  There is a reason people havent yet, because it's not a guarantee.

People are very vulnerable when bad news comes out, which makes it difficult for investors to choose altcoins because the risks are often unexpected. I think in this period, investors need to have a specific plan and spend a lot of time to analyze before making a final decision. In my opinion, you should only invest altcoin when the market starts to get better because it is a very good opportunity for you to make a profit.

indeed the impact of the movement of bitcoin has a huge influence on the altcoin market. but unfortunately, now the bitcoin movement sometimes can't move altcoin. some altcoins can make their pumps even though bitcoin is stable, that is because altcoins are making an increase in their demand and it is very effective if there is an update on the market.

This is why I hate turning on the news and seeing "Bitcoin hits new all time high, up 3000%". I know it will bring new people into the market, some of which have never even heard of Bittcoin before it was on the news, but I also I know that they will end up losing money on this deal. They seem to think the price is only linear and only goes upwards. It doesn't. Then, when we get lows like last year, they all lose out.

The media propaganda works perfectly, they show the small investors how to buy in the bull market and how to sell in the bear market. I remember the XRP price exploit days when CNN showed the options for buying the XRP and they started to spread FUD during the downtrend. The new people come to the crypto industry with big hopes and they tend to make new investments after they lose each time. The long story but the psychological tricks force them to repeat it.

I would be also very suspicious about new investment if every day there were news about exchange hacking, scam projects and failed IEOs that did not even manage to collect their soft cap. Market conditions are too bad at the moment.

Yes its too dissapointing when you see your alts in red color for almost a year. Thats the painful part when investing into alts ,you must accept all the risk.  If only i can chnage the price of my alts to get x1000 i will do , sell them all then get out on this crypto world for good.

From my own impression, the altcoins market price are good cause bitcoin also experienced the current downtrend momentum and the decision of the bitcoin market is what usually determine what will happen in the altcoin market when halving is coming. Mind you, the only thing that's disappointing is choose a wrong or centralized coin.

Indeed it is very bad for now seeing prices that have never grown and experienced a surprising decline. But if you still have high confidence, it will make a new dream come true later.

Basically, Alts can maintain its price because of bitcoin, if bitcoin has gone down, then Alts will follow it. plus now there are many bad rumors about IEO investments, many scam projects everywhere, this is also increasingly affecting the prices of all alts, it is not surprising that altcoin prices are getting disappointing. getting worse when conditions like this. only altcoin in top 5 at CMC isn't too disappointing.

The whales are going to definitely pump the market once again, that is inevitable, if we were in their position to abuse our power we will most likely do the same that they are doing, however I have grave doubts that the top 100 coins are going to gain a lot of value during the next months or years, it is not rare for a coin to be in the top 100 and then disappear, that is why I am concentrating myself only in two coins bitcoin which is the best coin and ethereum which is the best altcoin.

There's a domino effect if bitcoin is stumbling, this would affect the other altcoins and that's a very known character of btc. The price are disappointing if most of your portfolio lies on altcoins and you don't prepare on this situation because you have invested into altcoins.
But while you're giving them a reminder to invest on bitcoin, I doubt it that they'll listen to it if they are currently in loss.

nothing is really stable because prices will continue to move even though it is still in the same range, but with fluctuations that continue to happen at least it is a advantage for traders who basically will always buy and sell. so i guess nothing is really disappointing as long as the coins in the crypto market have their own value

Yes altcoins price not give any sign that will grow, but i still think we will have a next bull run for altcoins even if will take more and altcoins with good trade volume will grow.

Bull run will come sooner or later but unfortunately not all altcoins will rebuild their price. Those altcoins whose developers are active have a good chance of returning to the previous level. However, many of them have lost all investor confidence due to lack of development. Unfortunately, but there are a lot of such projects and unfortunately they will stay at the bottom.
