Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k?

Is it possible that we see another altcoin season if Bitcoin breaches the all-time high and go above 20k? Do you find a direct correlation?

It's possible it will, but I don't think it will apply to all the altcoins, in 2017 even dead and shitcoins gets a big pump, there are many developers and old altcoins investors who made a huge profit, because there were an avalanche of new investors coming in picking just any coins they can get hodl in the market.
I don't think we are going to see this scenario again because of the big lesson of 2017, even new investors will do a research on what altcoins should they pick when altcoins season comes.

we have seen this wayback 2 years ago so i don't see any reason why we need to doubt that altcoins will grow if bitcoin show that force of reaching more than $20,000 again
i have remember last December 2017 when bitcoin rallied very speed and also the alts grow together though ethereum dont go that high but made the pump in January 2018.
so the thing is many altcoins can be great but there will always be a right timing for each of them and when this can be?thats the question need to answer

Bitcoin is ruling the crypto market so BTC will going to 20k USD automatically other altcoins are raise gradually in crypto market. The reasonable prediction is 15k USD on end of the year, because BTC is a volatile cryptocurrency so anytime it will going peak or backward. We always accepting the any situation and we will earn good profit on every bull run.

Apparently nobody can ascertain to that. As of now am only investing in legit altcoin, trading it when there's profit.
Really don't have such patience to wait for the bullrun season to happen. $20k bitcoin is possible, probably next year but we shouldn't be expecting that all altcoin will skyrocket because of that

We may have assumption for altcoin to increase again once btc reaches $20k. Once demands increase for an altcoin there’s a possibility it may happen. Agree, this time is also okay to invest in some altcoin only those profitable altcoin in the market. Moving forward in this market condition I still have a hope to see altcoin will increase it’s price since I’m one of those who hold some coins in my wallet.

Most altcoins reached their all time highs in January/February of 2018, mainly because of how a lot of speculative capital that was withdrawn from Bitcoin was pumped into altcoins to book additional profits.

These capital shifts have been happening for years so they aren't really special, which I'm sure will happen again eventually, but not as extreme as we have seen it take place back in 2017/2018 due to the retail fomo that was going on.

Overall, I never liked trading altcoins versus Bitcoin because it subjects you to so many unnecessary variables that it just isn't worth the risk for me, which is why I prefer to focus on altcoins versus fiat.... less risk and less hassle.

At least the increase in BTC's price will cause an increase in their price. For example, reaching $20k will increase ETH's price more than 2x due to its price against the BTC. On the other hand, as long as the increase is continuous, this already cause the influx of investors, and this is in increasing interest in altcoins. I would not know it would be 100%, but when we think about it, there is a big possibility.

Who knows? Maybe they won't go "crazy" or they actually might go crazy. We have seen altcoins bleeding when bitcoin starts to rise in price. But then it eventually starts to rise back and follows the trend of bitcoin to a certain level. One think I don't understand, why do people keep on talking about altcoin "season". What the hell is this "season" about anyways?

It can be. But that was 2 years ago when it happened but since 2018 the movement is really different wherein when BTC is moving up alts are not moving but when BTC is gping down everything will follow.

yes maybe, but when did it happen. bitcoin prices are currently only 9k and need 2x to 3x surges to get to 20k prices. this is very difficult, halving may not be able to pump up to that size. so the altcoin season might be difficult to start. but I still hope it can start as soon as possible

This influence will continue to occur because btc is the parent of altcoin, so when bitcoin prices are stagnant, the altcoin market will rise rapidly and this is caused by traders / investors who tend to make altcoin as a source for profit, we cannot predict how the market going forward, because everything can happen suddenly.

This prediction is very logical because the current market is easy to manipulate and Bitcoin can increase or decrease at any time if they like. In my opinion, $15,000 is possible in the near future but certainly before reaching this price, the market will go through many different stages so I believe this time will be very difficult. Currently, you can choose to invest in leading altcoins like ETH, BCH, EOS, XLM because these are coins that usually increase in price if Bitcoin has a good recovery.

May be risky for everyone but I believe that things will soon stabilize because the crypto market is a very promising place for you to invest so there is no need to worry too much.

Before thinking altcoin will go crazy again, we should remember in January 2020 every exchange needs to satisfy AML 5 compliance. This will end an anonymous account and restrict manipulators from manipulating the whole market because the exchange has its customer data and it will be used by SEC to charge the suspected manipulator. The growth will happen but do not expect the price to go crazy again,

The market would rise up once the BTC hits up another all time high.
It would surely rise up the other crypto just like what happen back in 2017.

When BTC come to 20K again, some coins may run with BTC. Some coins who are top ranked and already proved themselves. ETH, XRP, LTC, BNB etc. They can double even triple their price together with BTC. By the way probably most of the coins can east crush under BTC while BTC running to 20K and get ever worst if BTC will find new all time highs. It looks logical keep some amount of BTC without trading and buy some coins who are strong at market which I mentioned below.

If Bitcoin returns to the price of $ 20,000 as it did in 2017. This will make some altcoins following in the footsteps of bitcoin

Focusing on earning in the current market situation is trading, simply said. Focusing on waiting for an alt season should be accumulating coins and not risking them!
This year we will not see any season at all, we can feel luck if price of bitcoin goes over 10k and some alts follow that rise. Next year will be similar to this one, fluctuations all the time, some spikes, some deeps, all in all I don`t expect to see some huge price rise. I expect 2021 to be our year! Not from the start of course, but mid 2021 to the end will be the possible period for crypto market to brake that 1 trillion cap for the first time ever!

The price of bitcoin moved over $10k but it was down so quickly but as you can see it's trying hard to get into retraction again. I'm okay if we have to wait until 2021, it isn't so long. It's just about for 2 years and I'm okay waiting for that long and even longer. But I'm more positive now than last year which was full of disappointment. But at least now, we can have that peaceful mind and less stress while looking at the charts.

Bitcoin is indeed the basis of the movement of all altcoins, so clearly a direct correlation between bitcoin and altcoin is inevitable.
if bitcoin rises to $ 20K, it will obviously affect all altcoins that are already listed on the exchange. not for altcoin who just did ico, because it is still doubted whether it is really running because many are actually scams.

We all need to understand the fact that altcoin run is not dependent on BTC hitting $20k. It is largely dependent on BTc being and stable and BTC dominance being reduced. If BTC dominance is high, even if BTC hits $20k, Altcoin season might come and altcoin will not run, but as soon as BTC dominance is reduced altcoin will  have a crazy run

Agree with your opinion, that bitcoin will reach a good level starting from the end of this year to continuing the following year. naturally many investors will hunt down and invest in bitcoin knowing that bitcoin will return to its heyday.
time will determine all this to happen well.
