Lets hope they will but until then we have to wait a little longer for Bitcoin to reach 20k$ or over as the halv is in some months and the full bull run can being in 1 year from now if its gonna repeat the 2016 year. If this will happen just like 2016 when we will see a full run of altcoins only in 2021 and in 2020 its gonna be the dex year as I'm sure its time for the volume to switch sides. Well if you base it from what happened last 2017, then yeah, major alts like eth can make a big run. In a way, people's confidence in bitcoin reflects on their confidence in crypto. So more people again will become interested with alternatives. When btc dropped drastically, i think people lost trust in crypto generally. But we're likely seeing a swing in perspective this year with many coins slowly bouncing back.

The season for altas will definitely come, but I'm not sure when it will happen exactly, I mean, I'm not sure if it will happen before the new ATH for the BTC price or after.
I think it will not be exactly when the BTC exceeds the price of $20k. In my opinion most probably option is that prices of alts will start growing earlier, and in the moment of new ATH on BTC everyone will move funds from alts to catch the Bitcoin train..

That doesn't seem to be an accurate prediction for me. Altcoin is not yet reaching the oversold area. Altcoin still stuck at this level since a long time ago and altcoin never moves outside from this area.
When bitcoin grows into the 20k and there will be no guarantee if altcoin will be losing its value in bitcoin term too.
Bitcoin is still dominating the market dude and you should not forget it.

That is not a guarantee though. A coin having a use case with their real product is not saying it will reach its intended population. Neither does it mean that it is necessary in real life. There are so many projects with real products and use case that still ended up buried among thousands of projects because the products are far from necessary in real life. Even with Bitcoin not pumping hard, many projects succumbed to less demand from the people.

It is possible, but BTC reaching 20k again is very far from now.
Right now it has to recover from the severe downfall it has faced lately once that happens, than maybe we are looking at something decent.

We may think that it will be far based on the lingered expectation that we have had and may really not be far, anything could arrive now to surge the value of bitcoin as it happened in April this year will surge the value from something around $4k plus to over $13800 or have we forgotten that bitcoin once reached $13800 within a very short space of time?

Even if I agree that altcoins are oversold we must be careful, remember that the markets are driven by the emotions of traders so there is a tendency for the markets to be irrational, just because altcoins are oversold it does not mean we will see them going up soon, if anything investors could panic and drive their prices even lower, instead of looking at the market sentiment just look at what the price is doing and when altcoins recover some of their losses then you can invest in them.

I've also noticed that but you can't also ignore the fact that many altcoins like ethereum moved up from the bottom. Just like on how we saw it when it's $79 and then moved up to a better price. Not all of them didn't make a x2 but there were coins that actually increased more than twice.
As of now, Eth made more than a x2.

Only a few altcoins will follow the bitcoin uptrend. when bitcoin is pumped later, altcoin will slowly rise. but for altcoin shit, I think it will still be dumped, even though the market is bull run. no need to wait until 20K, to see the market bull run. Because before the BTC reached 20k the market had started to run bull, I'm sure of it.
