Atl coin will recover once we have the BTC recover itself. Personally I am looking to wait another year or two before that happens because the BTC is just touching 12 k right now and it will take at least all of 2020 for it to go viral again with the price. Then the alt coin may also follow the trend and go crazy.

The higher BTC prices will not be good for the altcoins considering the previous market patterns in the past charts, the long time frames have a correlation between the altcoins and Bitcoin. The $20000 BTC price will be the reason why altcoins start to bleed. I hope the market will go up together and the BTC dominance will fall under 50%.

can occur if bitcoin experiences multiple sideways that occur spontaneously. btc will also not soar high in a straight line on the daily chart, altcoin will still have time to take positions. typical of seasonal investors always looking for alternatives to bitcoin when dominance is above average, and there is always more potential news about alt than btc on social media at the same time.

well, altcoins dont have much room to go down as you can see
so if bitcoin goes up they go together with him in correlation to USD, then the profits from Bitcoin will flow into altcoins again

At the moment, investors are still not interested in this market and the large volatility is the main reason they are quite worried when investing. everything will be seen when the price of bitcoin starts to rise again. But, there are several possibilities that make it not happen the same as the rise in bitcoin which was dominant in the previous June / July. however, it is certain that the price of altcoin will also go up when the price of bitcoin even though it is not alt season.

That was not the case last December 2017, btc had its ATH that time but altcoins followed and they even are more profitable than bitcoin.
If the same trend will happen, we will see bitcoin dominance to decrease and altcoins to increase.

I would rather see that because it give balance growth to the market, if bitcoin dominance keep growing, altcoins will die and I don't think it would happen because altcoins also have a future, its part of the market and they are currently oversold, therefore my prediction would be an increase of altcoins will result to bitcoin's dominance.

And we could see it very much even this year, when the prices of the entire crypto market climbed thanks to Bitcoin's recovery, altcoins seemed to go even higher, and once more BTC dominance started dropping. This is normal and should be expected,,, people do get confused about dominance.

It is how alts act in price that determines BTC dominance, not the other way around.

yes it can happen, people who know it will definitely be more careful but if the bull run returns it will definitely bring in lots of new people, and they can become targets for worthless coins

As long as that alt is useful and been impressive even the bitcoin doesn't perform well then It can guarantee that alt will increase also. Like just what happens this last October the sudden increase of BTC that leads to some alts to have rally too and those alts are those that been actively updating that is able to increase. Some alts just can't survive the markets volatility after the 2017 ATH.

in that sense I rather see that altcoin has a dependency on bitcoin. in the past few months as you said, it appears that after the bitcoin pump some altcoins have the potential to follow. but I also believe that altcoin has the potential to pump when it's a bitcoin pump

Sorry to disagree with you that I don’t think that the market will return to that 2017 again, because prior to 2017, we don't have bad projects as much as we have it no, and the scam rate in the cryptocurrency industry as not as strong then as it is now, and the only thing that has really not made investor to enter the market is because they are all very scared of the project that we have now, and of this fear of being scammed is still In them, then tell me what you think will actually make the market go back to that year 2017 again when we had lots of investors patronizing the altcoin market.

I have even zeroed my mind a little bit in believing that there will be any altcoin season and I am more into bitcoin investment for now because this is the coin that I know that investors can never avoid to use because of its importance.
