How was it?  I wasn’t able to watch it.  And I’m guessing most matches were wrestling heavy kinda like the UFC back in the day, around 10 years ago with fighters based in the US..?  It’s turning out that Russian wrestlers are pretty good too.

I didn't watch all the fights but I liked what I saw and it all looks similar like UFC but in Russian, there was even some crowd in the arena.
Artur Guseinov vs Brazillian Marcio Santos was most interesting fight for me and there was atleast one or more Nurmagomedov students fighting in this event.

Yeah..  Russian based fighters are on the rise.  Check out Khizriev at UFC this weekend.  He’ll be fighting Kyle Daukas, Chris Daukas’ younger brother.  I got a small bet on the Russian at 1.87.  He looks solid with the grappling, wrestling and has really fast, hard kicks.

Eddie Alvarez was on the fight card and he was disqualified, not seen much of a foul to get the fight disqualified and may be referees are strict over there.

Ryan Bader is fighting Lyoto Machida and my picks is Ryan Bader to win the fight because of his wrestling skills, Cat Zingano is another fighter who did not fulfill her talent in the UFC and hopefully she will win her bout against Olivia Parker.

About the OneFC upsets if not for the low odds i would have placed a bet on Demetrious Johnson and i have no idea about the opponents they are facing as i could not find much footage and i am really surprised to see Demetrious Johnson finally getting opponents that can match his skills .

Bellator 257 is starting in two days with interesting main event Vadim Nemkov vs Phil Davis, and one more Emilienko team member and Vadim's brother is on the card called Viktor Nemkov fighting against Karl Albrektsson in same Light Heavyweight category.
One more fight worth mentioning is Ex UFC fighter Corey Anderson fights against Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov, Andreson is favorite to win with nice odds by bookmakers similar like Nemkov.
Winner of Nemkov vs Davis will fight against Yoel Romero or Anthony Johnson who are fighting in May 7th.

Big match for PFL 1 MMA is starting in one day with ex UFC fighter Anthony Pettis fighting against Clay Collard in lightweight category.
This is first fight in PFL for Pettis and he is coming after two wins against Alex Morono and Donald Cerrone back in 2019 and he is heavy favorite by bookmakers.

Interesting fact is that PFL has new owner and that is rapper Wiz Khalifa with real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz.

Anthony Pettis lost against Collard in his first PFL fight and someone made good money betting against him, but we have some big fights coming in Bellator 258 in just few days with his brother Sergio Pettis fighting in main event against champion and favorite Juan Archuleta.
Another big fight is between legends Yoel Romero and Anthony Johnson in Light Heavyweight category, and early betting odds suggest equal odds 50/50 for both of them.
Patricky Pitbull Freire is also fighting on the same card and this should not be missed.

Probably my most anticipated fight on a bellator card for a very long time. I wonder if the medical issues that this has been dismissed for are actually treatable. He's what now, like 43 years old? That's pretty damn old in the fight game.

I can't see them finding another suitable opponent in such short notice. At least, anyone that would be willing to fight Johnson on such short notice. So, it'll likely be a different date, and if Romero can get his medical issues sorted out, I can't see this fight being made again until Johnson recovers after the newly arranged fight. So, we could be looking at even next year depending on what sort of medical issues there is, how often Johnson wants to fight, and finally how much damage Johnson takes if he does take another fight.

I think he probably didn't pass covid testing but nothing is officially confirmed, and he is now 44 year old, seven years older that Anthony Johnson and he is not getting any younger.

Rumble Johnson was fighting against Ryan Bader in Submission Underground 19 competition and that was only grappling happened in year 2020.

I missed the fight completely and it looks like the fights were really great, i would not have predicted Sergio Pettis winning the title though as he never achieved that till now in his career and i have to watch the entire fight before commenting about the fight. I had no idea about Jose Augusto and he was a short notice replacement fighter and yet he was able to knock down Anthony Johnson and it showed ring rust is real as he is coming back after 4 years and he was able to showcase his knockout power once again.
The PFL had its controversy as Renan Ferreira tapped out to Fabricio Werdum and when he released the grip he knocked Fabricio Werdum out and now he is reviewing the result as he filed a complaint to the athletic commission to review the fight. The tap was real and it was evident in the replay and i think he will get the result overturned.

I always thought Sergio was just shie of a title in the UFC, but never managed to get it. A shame TBH.

Watched it several times, but havent found that moment where Ferreira tapped. Maybe someone could point on that moment.

In the post fight show Fabricio Werdum explained clearly on what happened during the fight where he felt the tap when he was on a chokehold  and the video clearly shows that Renan Ferreira tapped and i am sure that he would have slept if he did not loosen up the grip as Fabricio Werdum is known for his submission skills and one of the best in the ground as he submitted multiple legends in the sport including Fedor Emelianenko in his prime and Cain Velasquez.
