@1miau Looks like everything is working fine again with this explorer: https://btc-explorer.com/Just tested it few times, and all is good for me. Yes, it's now working fine for me, too. I also tried from my phone, also working. If you want to rate it, I can include in in the list. Name (link) | bech32 supported? | SegWit-Addresses (P2SH) identifyable?* | Usefulness (subjective rating ) | rated by | Comments | __________________________ | ___________________ | ___________________________________ | _______________________________ | ____________________ | ___________________________________ | BTC-Explorer.com | Yes (11/2019) | No (11/2019) | ?? / 10 Points | your name | xxxxxxx |
You can just copy my code and rate it:

Name (link) bech32 supported? SegWit-Addresses (P2SH) identifyable?* Usefulness (subjective rating :P) rated by Comments

__________________________ ___________________ ___________________________________ _______________________________ ____________________ ___________________________________

BTC-Explorer.com Yes (11/2019) No (11/2019) ?? / 10 Points your name xxxxxxx

Short note: the direct SegWit checking feature for the addresses seems to be not working: Says "no" but the address is nested SegWit: https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/db6d2b441a5964cd4c3ccdb7316738b020def1fdf2726201f07cc74016844e50But in general it's a good explorer, it's still possible to check the outgoing transaction in detail and then it's possible to detect if the address is SegWit or not.

Is there any visual bitcoin explorer to show addresses, transactions and connections? On ethereum blockchain there is one nice tool ethtective.com and I was wondering is there is something similar for Bitcoin?

Very useful thread, it's good to have block explorers listed in one place. You can take a look at another explorer - it's https://blockexplorer.one/btc/mainnet. But I never used it, so I can't give any comments about it My favorite explorer is Blockchair. But mostly I use Blockchain.com, because their name simply comes first to my head usually. And can you tell criteria that you used to give ranking? Because I as not tech savvy guy, I don't see huge differences between best block explorers.

Rating is not really representative but I tried to consider the features (like bech32 support // SegWit-Addresses (P2SH) identifyable // additional details like fees (some explorers often confuse Sat/Byte and Sat/vByte)), the general layout and if it's easy to use. At least these criteria are relevant for the ones I've rated. The other ones were suggested and rated by the people who suggested it, don't know which strategy they did apply. The best block explorers on the list are similar and sufficient for everyday use. My favorite explorer is Blockchair, too.

This is a great list and a great source of information, It was weird for me to see blockchain.com with that low rating but after seeing the other exprorers we can say they are better.
About the 3D blockchain project, it's awesome, i didn't know something like that exists. Thanks again for the info.

- You can also identify P2SH addresses in that explorer.
- You might want to get rid of "/de" part (to show English version of the page[by default]).

Yeah, I've reviewed my rating and increased it from 4 to 5. There are worse ones and for normal checking Blockchain isn't bad (mainly because bech32 support was added recently and obviously also nested SegWit detection like SFR10 replied (but on Blockchair it's easier to spot))

Thanks for the heads-up, really didn't know about it, seems to be new? (Never really used Blockchain.com much) - You might want to get rid of "/de" part (to show English version of the page[by default]).

Hey there 1miau! I'd like to ask you a question about the poll from OP. Based on a post of NeuroticFish in the translated version of your topic, I observed that the poll contains just 12 block explorers, while in the topic are listed 22. NeuroticFish said he was interested in voting an explorer, but it wasn't listed in the poll Is there a reason why you placed in the poll just 12 explorers instead of all of them...?
I don't know Russian, but it seems that the poll is missing

Can you check and exclude 3 block explorers from the list, @1miau? From my side, they are not operated well today. Please check. Or it is just me get those errors? https://blockexplorer.com/ (only be able to visit main page, nothing more) https://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer (504 Gateway Time-out) https://insight.bitpay.com/ (Error 1009 RayID Access denied)

Well, in case you'll decide to extend the poll to the other sites as well, I'll also updated the Romanian translated topic. I think it would be a good move to expand the poll, as some users may like more some the other explorers (those which were added later). What do you think?
