Absolutely. I only gamble when I have some spare money to spend. I consider gambling to be entertainment for me, to get some thrills when I watch sports matches or something. Profits are just icing on the cake and losing is perfectly fine. I think that's a good self control.

I think I gained this discipline as a result of bad experiences from excessive gambling. I never lost a big sum, life-changing money or anything but in my early gambling years, I lost some amount that could have been used to buy nice things instead of being wasted in online casino lol.

I tend to play daily on my favorite casino, but I do not stick to it all day. I do not have any fixed time, but whenever I do not have anything to do I am online playing. I do not know whether I fall under the category of an addict or not cause I spend max to max 30 mins. It doesnot depend whether I win or I lose, that is the max time I spend. You can call it discipline and self control.

I am not addicted yet (which i am really grateful for it) so i can stop gambling anytime i want. But for someone who addicted, not easy like how we say it. Because although a little, feel how much they want to play will always come. And proven that some of them really need expert to make their addiction gone. Maybe if people in here, some of you all not addicted yet, better to keep to learn control your emotion in gambling.

What kind of stopping ? For temporary or to stop forever ? I can stop temporarily because I'm busy also on other things but I think I can't stop permanently because gambling is one of my aid if I want to past some time  and at the same time Im also hoping to win some bucks .

Stoping does not means that you are addicted but it's also possible for addicted gamblers to stop and take some rest for a while

I can willingly stop gambling anytime I want but that doesn't mean I have great control or discipline. I am not a gambling addict and I only play when I want to(not constantly)
and only for entertainment, excitement or challenge that I get from PvP type card game. also just because you are not a gambling addict you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
there is this thing called "only gamble the money you can afford to lose." if you don't have funds to gamble you don't deserve to gamble.

It's one of the attitudes or characteristic a gambler should have. Learning when to take a loss or push for a win not only defines you as a gambler, but also you as how you play in gambling games. Earlier I was out of control, after experiencing big losses now I've turned myself to stay within control. When there is winning it isn't possible to stay within the limits, always we look for bigger win. This is the root cause to go out of control. Everything is a learning, and my control happened as a result of giving promise to my girlfriend.

Well, In my opinion, a gambling addict would not be going to say that he is addicted to gambling or he would not realize it yet that addiction is really clinging to his system, This is like you are addicted to porn your really want to stop it but you are still getting back to it because this thing produces stimulant that you may not resist but if you had been temporary satisfied by it some may realize a bit that he is really addicted but most gamblers would surely deny this,

That is why I can not tell myself if I am really addicted or not, I guess the people that are behind you are the ones that can tell you that you are really addicted or not because they are the once that will see if you have changed with your behavior or not, but I may say that I just gamble if there is opportunity at hand mostly sports bets and may see a great matchup from certain players or teams that I think have an advantage.

Well, at first there is and I'm confident that I can control myself when I started playing gambling but later on without realizing slowly i become addicted and worst my control and discipline disappeared and the thing that made me stop and avoid gambling and getting more addicted is my family and friends because they guide me, advise me and control me they were there when I need help and getting drown in addiction and after that I realize that maybe even a person with self-control and discipline can be like what happens to me, because its not just self-control and discipline you need a strong control and discipline and of course a companion and family that will always be there to guide you.

I make moderate bets and I have goals and discipline, so I don't overdo it and I don't bet every day ... I have other things to occupy my head. I believe that when a person puts high expectations on sports betting and has nothing else to do in life, that person becomes very focused on sports betting and becomes addicted to sports betting. Something I noticed in my first sports bet:

I won the first bet, won the second bet and lose on the third bet. when I lost on the third bet, I was very angry because my precious balance had diminished, all that came to my head was: I'll double bet to recover my lost money, I lose again, and thought the same thing and I lose again. That's when I decided to take a break and relax, days later I realized that I should not be moved by feelings, I should have a strategy, keep calm, not have high expectations and not be constantly involved in sports betting ... always do various things not to become addicted

Well I do have control on my gambling activity I could easily stop anytime I want.
And if I lose some money most of the time I don't feel the urge to deposit more and retrieve what I lose.
Some of my friends who are still gambling have that urge when they lose their money they want to deposit more to gain back their money.

I may not be able to stop gambling unless i have no money left. I do not consider myself addicted and all the gambling addicts also do not think themselves addicted. I cant stop gambling even though im not an addicted one because not all players that do play are addicted to it.It isn't bad as long you do know
your limits when it comes to risk handling and also into your finances.

Discipline doesn't only show on completely stopping on playing gambling but rather the capability to stop midway everything you are on a losing situation.

Are you saying that those people who have the ability to control themselves are just the one who deserves to gamble or play as much as they want? What if those people who have been able to control their own self become uncontrollable and addictive due to gambling as much as they like? My point is, we do not measure those people who can play or gambling by their own ability or feelings because there are some people who are addictive already in gambling but they can also control their own expenses and they have the conscious to stop gambling anytime they want and they have also the ability to gambling as much as they want.

Be specific on what kind of stopping you are pertaining into? because it can either be permanently or situational.

If we do talk about situational stopping where you do play midway and suddenly you experience big loss and stop completely to cut off that losing streak.
It does show strong discipline really since you are aware on what you are doing but these kind of behavior can only be seen on few people because
most of the time people who do play gamble will always chase their losses.
