I know for the fact that I don't gamble that often, and I'm not addicted to it. However, it does not mean that gamblers who are not addicted deserve to gamble as much as we want. If we continue to gamble as much as we want, we might end up being addicted too. I can control myself because I set a limit for myself that I can only spend this much. Gambling is not my priority, so I don't have so much greed to gamble. Simple winnings are enough for me to stop for a day.

I agree with you mate. If you really want to change and stop your addiction, change your lifestyle. You should also set your own limits too. It's hard to stop yourself from gambling when you are having fun with it, and it already becomes your addiction. Closest people can help you to control yourself in gambling. I also can stop it any point of time as its not my habit nor my addcition due to which I am gambling. It is only fun or to while some time occasionaly does it and not that I am playing for money due to which major issues start to occur. If one have control then all is fine and can have the best of time and do not have to worry much as well since one would not be getting addicted to it.

I'm not addicted, so yes, I can stop at any time. Gambling is fun for me, something that I do in my spare time. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose but I'm not professional gambler and I'm not financialy depending on it.

Its confusing to me, you're not addicted but you cant stop playing it? Anyhow you're not using a huge amount and just a free satoshis from the site so I think you're playing to kill time. In my case I have control and just playing for fun, stopping is not a problem since I dont gamble to double my money.

Controlling yourself is not decision, whether it happens or you continue what you have been doing in the regular dates. Me too. I do not play often. I prioritize other things that needs to be done first especially during week days. Well week ends are bonus. If some friend(s) will invite me to play, I'll spare some of my time. Yes the game will still be a game and still be there even without you or without me. I think it's a no, even if my mind says that I am willing to stop gambling, I know to myself that gambling is something that I can't easily stop any time. I cannot call myself an addicted gambler, but the only reason I can see is that I made it as my habit and gambling is the activity that I enjoy myself, so why would I stop.

Something you will feel when you are winning that you are getting excited when you play, Of course, it's a different thing when you are losing. Because it's hard to restrain yourself mostly when you have some funds in your hands, you really want to get back what you've lost and that's not gonna matter to you whether you losing again or not. this is the most case you can see from gamblers, controlling their self from playing from losing streak it's kinda hard stuff for them.

Though you're right but not all gambler at the lower layer have control over their gambling life, we have seen many cases around the forum were newbies to gambling are found uncontrollable when it come to gambling. My believe is, each gambler has their own layer of operation and those who bet or gamble with huge funds can be found to control their urge than those with smaller gamble funds. Am just a case studies here as I belong to the lower class before and then realizes my mistakes while gamble.

Actually, losing several times is partially don't have control. Sometimes, having a losing streak means you let yourself continue more because you expected to win in the next round. Perhaps 2-4 lose streak is enough and that's the signal to stop playing gambling, but if you continue, you're obviously not self-controlled.

It's good if you don't use self-control in winning streak situations because it's a positive condition that should be called blessing but if you feel you're going to lose your winning money, stop it now.

Having a set of priorities will let the gambler to enjoy from other life activities but the lack of alternative will not have the same effect over the long term gambling limitation.
