It depends on a lot of factors. In countries such as Indonesia, the divorce laws are more biased towards the men. But in most of the western nations, that it is the other way. Although I don't agree with the OP regarding his advice not to marry, it is true that divorce can financially ruin successful people. The perfect example is that of Jeff Bezos. When he divorced MacKenzie Scott, he had to pay $68 billion (25% of his wealth) towards her (making her the richest female in the world).

At least in my country the live-in partners doesn't have the same rights as that of married couples. So in case the two breakup, the male partner doesn't need to provide alimony or maintenance (as long as there are no children resulting from this relationship). At First, what is government? Vikings had their own laws. If you murdered someone by stabbing in the back or whatever, you were usually kicked out of the community. You became an outsider with no protection and outsiders were free to hunt. If you killed someone's father or son and got kicked out from the settlement, you could be sure the family would come after you and hunt you down in the woods like a dog. Rich people don't evade taxes, but they use various loopholes (such as carrying forward the claimed losses from business ventures) to pay a lesser amount of tax. What they are doing is perfectly legal and they will face no consequence for this. But you or me don't have the liberty of any such luxuries, as the loopholes are not applicable for us. The tax laws are designed in such a way, as to reduce the tax burden on businesses, since they are regarded as providing employment to people.

i want to get rich, but i don't agree on not getting married. Since my future wife her dad had a chain of car sales, and i wouldn't be poor if i marry her. Anyway, it is just a story for the fun part here, maybe the perspective of living in different places or the way of managing the country is different, but as i see if it is not for society new poor.

but in the rich point of view, i am referring to the rich girlfriend, but that does not mean that i like her money, is rich mentally.
