Nothing is 100% safe in this world, depending on the risk involved you can make more or less profit in time, but to be clear on one thing, there are no any guarantees in investment world. Banks are just a third party service that needs to be there for us to make transactions, you need to use banks if you wish to make your life easier, but now crypto is even better, you don't need third party service for sending money on the other side of the world, you are your own bank with crypto.

Things mentioned by Op seems to be reflection of his own frustration. Each and everything is true when we take into discussion, but in real life those things mentioned are really the positive things that gives better living prospects. When we talk of taxation, it is the one that makes the government service to the public. Corruption and mismanagement is found throughout, without taxation no benefits will be experienced by the public from the governments. There are few governments that does the taxation in a perfect way. From marriage a new life and new levels of growth will be achieved based on our ability.

Don’t pay taxes: I wish I could but it's not only mandatory but obligatory as well, no one escapes this one, even jobless are being taxed, they tax you on whatever you do and still looking for ways to tax you.
