Real reasons to Why do you gamble?

Mostly it is because you earn money and the fun comes from winning, the giveaways, prices and jackpot that you might be able to win and thinking about it could end your financial problems. That's why most people gamble, but it comes with a high risk, you either become rich or get bankrupt.

I don't believe that people should use this mindset at all.

You can only go bankrupt from gambling if you bet more than you can afford, and that is definitely not what you should be doing.

If you can't afford to bet a certain, then simply bet less. If you could ever find yourself in a position where you have absolutely no money because you've been gambling too much, then that sounds like a problem.

Keep it low, keep it fun and most of all, enjoy the process. Don't use gambling as a get rich quick scheme or you'll be in for trouble (most likely).

I'm a gambler more than few years from now and the main or primary reason why Im playing is because I hope I won money.
My money are seperated in gambling and investing so money for investing is secure because I use money that is really not need.
I think donating money is good but if you have personal needs you need to take yourself before others.

Sometimes when I'm bored I play gambling but even I did not feel that Im still playing , gambling give me entertainment and happiness when I play and when Im win . What ever you're reason just prioitize to earn money before everything else.

Indeed, although gambling allows us to become rich or bankrupt but the results in fact have proved that this theory has too many mistakes when people who gamble only have a higher bankruptcy rate, instead of getting rich with it, every year the bankruptcy in gambling increases very fast, so this theory should be broken from the beginning, if we maintain that mindset, gambling will make us pay for this simple thought. Entertainment is the correct reply in my sense. People are different I know that. Someone definitely think that making donations are much better and worthyer. But I'm not that type. I gamble to spend my free time on a nice wave, to take a risk and have some fun. To gain some profit from that also would be nice

People gamble because, gambling gives off thrill and entertainment. Gambling is like investing and trading, you do know what is at stake but, you have no knowledge on what might be the result of it. The difference is, gambling is more thrilling and exciting, faster to win or lose unlike investments. Much greater risk because, you couldn't analyze any charts to come up with something of your choice, it is pure probability and luck. If I would be gambling, the reason would be for a bigger profit. Big risk, big earnings.

I was thinking deep after I read your post. If all the money that I lost in gambling were being invested to crypto currencies, I am pretty sure that I am earning a huge profit by now.

But with all the mistakes that I made. I have no hard feelings to it because the main reason why I gamble is for past time only and I only gamble my extra money. That is why, I was not addicted to gambling. At first, I started gambling to NBA winners then poker comes next and I am not so sure if there will be more to come but if I will be bored again to these two, there is a big chance that I will look for another type of gambling.

Also, maybe if something is going on well that day people might feel more enticed to gamble as they would believe that they have higher chances to win even though that is completely false. From my real life experience that is almost impossible.If I win I don’t like to stop,what I do is I save a few of the winnings like 15% of them and the other 85% I distribute between slot machines about 50% and 35% I play in sport betting.I play most of the winnings in slots hoping to hit some jackpot or high winnings through different bonus rounds.

Does that work for you? I mean, do you sometimes win big when you risk much of what you win? If you do, that's probably because you are skilled sports bettor, right? Well, I kind of think you risk too much (especially if you don't have the enough skills). I'll probably risk below 50% and save the remaining.

There was a thread posted in this subtopic awhile ago asking on what matters whenever you gamble, either the process or the outcome. Most people have replied that the process is what makes gambling attractive, while the others replied the outcome of their decision.

Like what you have said, it varies per person on what they see and feel towards gambling. Some people who are financially struggling tend to look gambling as an avenue of gaining them quick profits, while people who are financially secured see this as a form of entertainment. Regardless, gambling will always be something that people would spend their time and find meaning to it.

It varies among people of course but their main goal is probably to win. We humans want something that has a chance of giving us larger returns that is why gambling was still there. This psychological factor makes us to bet even more specially when we experience to win. That feeling satisfies us.

We have different risk appetite, some of us want a higher risks because of the high rewards and there are protective ones that can be considered as protective player. There is an excitement all the time when I'm taking big risks in gambling. Identifying the risks before playing a gambling is important in order to have prior knowledge if we can handle it or not.

May you find happiness in playing gambling , not because you need more money or you want more money but because you are having fun doing it. And the rest will follow, I believe that when you do something and you are having fun on doing it, it makes you more productive and helps you sometimes to produce more ideas on how do you win that game, when you enjoy something you can do more and becomes more productive.

Gambling gives me relaxation and that feeling when I win was very satisfying. But if I will choose over traditional gambling and online Gambling I will go to online.

I think if we can use gambling for entertainment, and we can get fun from gambling, we don't have to worry about the worst thing that might comes into gambling. I agree with you. The main reason people to gamble should be for money since it takes capital to play and not really appropriate for fun. If someone wants to have fun, the must prefer to go outside or play online/ofline games. Moreover, someones shouldn't be fun if he loses in gambling continously. 

Maybe they say it truly but yeah people play it to earn money not only to have fun and my reason for it is to make money. I work in my office and before leaving for home I visit the casino and spend the little amount I often win and I get profit so I did not make gambling my only way of getting money but I have my job and I use to gamble for getting extra income.

The reason I do gamble because of the money even taking the risk just to have higher earning. Since gambling in crypto is much higher value than usually money we used for daily lives, some people taking the risk just to persuade their needs through gambling. Also gamble is good for entertainment because of the excitement you experience everytime you do gamble,  just make sure know your limit.

Yep. That's why I say the "main reason", it means there are other reasons. It is no problem to play gambling for fun, that's personal purpose. No one forbids it. But as you say, and you also did it, the real reason is for money. For example, you hope for extra money from doing gambling if you win it.

It is mainly because of the desire of being rich someday that's why I entered gambling. Though my desire is high to get all the wealth I could possibly recieve, I do not get myself involved in gambling too often. I only risk on gambles whenever I have excess income from my investments which I think can be considered as self control. If I would be too greedy and crave too much for money, there's only two things that may happen to me in gambling, I can either reach what I am aiming for or end up in lots of casualties which will eventually make me broke.

Right people gamble to earn money and those who use to say that they are gambling for fun only or to entertainment I don't believe in it because for only entertainment we can use so many other ways apart from gambling. There are few sites where people gamble to enjoy spending the little money but I personally gamble because it's the best source to earn with enjoyment.
