Why Altcoins not Growing These Days

New investors are not interest to invest in the such bearish market. Last two months i found huge promising projects coming but ultimately they unable to satisfied to new investors. Top coins are good stable but what is going on the others cryptocurrencies.

I think new investors now are not interested in investing in the new project, and they change to invest in bitcoin and altcoin at the market. They have a bad experience before so they search for the other thing that can make the profit. The altcoin itself now still trying to grow although it's not too fast, and we can see the history this year. Maybe in the next year will be a time for an altcoin to start to grow again, and if that happens, then we will going to see the bull market comes again.

After the explosion of scams two years ago, the altcoins lost all their credibility, and it's a shame because there were so many good projects.
Let's hope someone survives, we'll see how it ends in the future.

Later Q1 of 2018, worst time was starting then we Bitcoin pump this year. We know top is bleeding day by day, same to new coin. Later Q2 2020 altcoins season could come, altcoins season won't stay long. Eventually after Q1 of 2021 total coinmarketcap volume will bullrun then top coin and altcoins will run until 2022.

IMO, the bear market is the first reason we should look at it. After making decent research, I think not to invest in the altcoins due to the poor results. The exponential growth is possible under normal market conditions, otherwise, it becomes a hassle for crypto investors.

There are lots of prediction on altcoins but it is difficult to trust any of those predictions and make decision with it. What is more important is to choose a good project irrespective of the general market, A good project will definitely thrive and reliable team will deliver. Only the project before bullrun with bad run can have a different investment plan.

It is actually because the market is not in the good condition just like what happened last two years ago. Because as we have all experienced that time, almost all of the projects that time really gone successful because there are lots of investors taking their money into a particular project to support it. They are confident that this particular project is going to be sucessful, it is all about actually the value of every altcoin. But maybe if the market recovers, good projects are coming back. There are still good projects at tuis time but investors are choosing to hold their tokens.

It is simply because of the lack of support from crypto community. There are only few altcoins that are surviving in the market and those coins are the potential ones because of the good support from crypto community. Altcoins have low volume can be considered as shitcoins and these coin are garbage one and these coins should be avoided.

I also view the bear market as having a large effect on alts not doing too well recently. Alts were rallying mostly ahead of Bitcoin's peak in the upper $13Ks and have mostly been declining since, though the fundamentals of most coins still haven't changed very much in the time from when that all happened.

I don't know if 2020's going to be the year when the crypto markets in general start to take off again, but I do know that volatility's very real with crypto and we could be in a long ride either up or down next year. I'm still accumulating accordingly to prepare for either case.

The investors are always there but most of them are still sleeping because of market condition and most of the projects right now are having difficulty in reaching their target cap.

Active investors right now are like 40% if we are going to compare to last 2017 in which most of the investors are very active. If the market will start to shift in 2020 then altcoins will start to grow again together with the awakening of old and new investors.

yes you are right op the altcoin market continues to decline because it does not get new investors. Investors are afraid to invest in Altcoin because most Altcoin projects are scams, so new investors prefer investing in Bitcoin over Altcoin. so bitcoin dominates the crypto market and makes altcoin prices fall even more. but I'm sure when bitcoin pumps most of altcoin will also pump even though it will take time.

support from the crypto community is indeed very influential under the current conditions. we know for the time being to find new investors is very difficult, so to survive as if using internal strength. for altcoin with a small volume of course it will be even more difficult because the community will leave it before altcoin is worthless

Normally what happens is that the investor gives a max 12 to 18 months for a particular project. If it shows no sign of progress even after this period, then the investors will dump it and move on to some other project. And right now the final phase of dumping is happening for most of the smaller altcoins. Only a very small number of investors are still holding them, and even they are looking for exit strategy. Even I have a large number of alts in my wallet, including BSD, DNR, GBYTE, BTX, WPP.etc. But all these coins are down by up to 90%.

The market is generally trading sideways with no major cause for interest from either the cryptocurrency space or new investors.  For prices to rally(BTC and alts), there has to be something to spark the interest of traders and investors.  That catalyst is presently lacking and prices could easily drop so everyone is sitting on their hands.  I know I am.

no need to sit and wait for good prices. you need to start exploring this market better, because even all these two years when the prices for altcoins and BTC were very low, I continued to make good money. I believe that we are very close to the beginning of a new growth, what kind of growth this will be, I can’t say, but just because we don’t see the growth of altcoins does not mean that there are no investors. I want to note that now there are off-exchange platforms where cryptocurrency is very actively bought and sold, however, these trades do not affect the price, since trading on crypto exchanges affects the price. I think, as soon as large players are sufficiently purchased by cryptocurrency on off-exchange exchanges, then they will begin to raise the price through crypto exchanges.

I am watching out for the next run of bitcoin, if the last run this year brought that size of dominance for bitcoin and other altcoin could not recover till now. It could be worse if the dominance got the same trend in next run and suffocate the altcoins.I will be watching Ethereum especially on this, Its reaction in the market will be a determinant factor for most altcoins. I just wish it could maintain the 0.02 btc for the major part of the run

Probably too many newcomers lost money during 2018, so they are a bit wary of reinvesting into crypto right now. We'll need to wait for whales to make their move -- if they start pushing up alts, then other money may begin to flow in.

OKex published a news today. Many altcoins are off the list. Different exchanges may show similar behavior. The market needs to be strengthened again. I think that way. Cleanliness is a must. Watch out for the subcoins in your bag. Keep them out of the list.

Time is really just an illusion and the idea of something great will happen in the next few weeks is what brings hope in this industry. After all, you wouldn't reach your goals if you let yourself get eaten by despair. This dull state of the market hopefully be gone as the year changes to a new start. Investors are a lot more careful now because of the past experiences. As bounty hunters, we should also be more picky which projects are to promote too.
