Why Altcoins not Growing These Days

As we all know , crypto market is not doing so much in these days. Major Altcoins are bleeding, even top currencies are not increasing
Major reason according to my opinion is the lack of new investors. New investors are not showing interest.
in 2020 I think will be better than Today. What do you think, what is your prediction about crypto market. kindly share your thought.

Many emerging altcoins are investment worthy let alone the top dogs. Stuff maturing, expectations increasing, cream will rise to the top!

I think that altcoin season is not yet coming and it could be the year of Bitcoin today and we might just expect a little increase of value of some altcoins but not like before the year of 2017. And this could only happen if altcoins will be able to caught up with BTC if the value increases.

But still accumulating is best way to do now because we cannot predict on what will happen on the market.

Unless the altcoins can show that they can be used for something that Bitcoin is not suitable to be used, they will remain very dependent on Bitcoin. Whenever the Bitcoin prices drop, the altcoin prices will fall even more. And they can't survive for too long by leaching off Bitcoin. The market share of altcoins would continue to decline and eventually their market share and user base will get shifted to BTC.

I still expect more bleeding on altcoins this year because its really disappointing the rates at which Scam projects keep showing up over and over again with new strategies and that's really scaring off investors and if no investors no volume in the market.

New projects are not living up to their standards, new things are built to fix old things but this is not the case in crypto space, new projects are been built to grab money from investors, they are now smarter to invest in old projects since no new project wants to actually fix problems in crypto world today

You are indeed right, that's the problem altcoin hard to return to the season. Therefore the year 2020 we must all make innovations in order to stop a bad new project.

The difference is in the real world fiat is crumbling, many nations dying and there are a lot of devaluation of currencies and inflation like crazy and even normally amazing nations like UK and USA have insane amount of deficit as well, which means altcoins are actually doing much better than those currencies. Difference is altcoins are stuff you are willing to sell first whenever you have a problem, when you need money what would you sell, gold? stocks? bitcoin? or would you sell that low coin that hasn't moved in a while? Thats why altcoins haven't been making progress too fast but as long as some of them survive, that means thats better than many nations currencies.

I think this is not about trusting in the dev team, but about the fact that people bought Altcoins without any basic knowledge about them. When prices began to fall, they began to sell themselves in panic without thinking about what was happening. That is why there was such a long and large market collapse. When people start learning and finding out what Altcoins are, their adoption and prices will start to rise again.

In cryptocurrency prediction people can go wrong and right because no one knows actually what Will happen in it. People can only make predictions and it can be wrong or right but with your statements, I do after that good time is not so far now after a few month's prices of Altcoins will pump and we are going to see the better results of buying and holding our Altcoins.

Some do know. Some do not. Big fat fellows most definitely have a plan for halving and could estimate whats going to happen to bitcoin on a certain date. Guys like Brian Armstrong and Arthur Hayes can read the trends better than most of u plus they got access to inside shit happening on their exchanges. I have a hunch that alts' failure to post any significant gains in 2019 was due to most peoples' uncertainty about halving. Most whales (just like average traders) have no idea what happens in may. Hence they are just sitting out in cash, taking no action. Just waiting for halving to kick in. So they can make up their mind after a major decision point in bitcoin markets has been reached.

I always start with just an idea, evaluating how it may be spread wider, how applicable it is and else. Then a very important component is the value I can get. Or some benefits. Then paying attention to the team, the roadmap and innovations

Well the reason that altcoins not grow is because there now is no interest for investors to buy and also a lot of people sell crypto for holidays and other just hold and not buy altcoins, most of people hold waiting for next bull run which possible happen this year.

From what I have seen, most of the altcoins have a very small lifespan. And in most cases, it is within the 6 to 12 months range. During this duration, the altcoin in question may undergo one of more pump-and-dump cycle. But after a certain point, the promoters will move on with some other project, and gradually the trade volumes will die down.

Altcoins market did not grow due to lack of investor interest to buy amid current conditions (stagnant Bitcoin prices and political issues).  2020 just started, we can only hope that the political conditions in some countries will not affect investor worries.  for example, the issue of World War 3 (between the US & Iran) has made many investors worry about the future.  I hope the price of Bitcoin can grow in the midst of current conditions to be able to help the price of Altcoins to grow as well.

2020 has already come; the situation with the altcoin market has not changed cardinally, maybe in the first quarter it will be the same - the stagnation of most cryptocurrencies. At the beginning of the year, you should not expect a revival in the market, investors after the holidays will not be so active as to change the global trend.
