Well as for me I will hold 70% of BTC and the rest is eth. Definitely, through holding this crypto, both could give profit when the price will pump in the market. It really depends on you on what coin you will buy and hold as long you can manage your funds to earn.

If i have 1btc well i will not going to spend it all in the altcoins first I'll put 60-70% of it remain in bitcoin then the rest will be diversified into strong coins and other new tokens that have a big potential in the market like ETH, Tezos, BCH, TRX, and now for the low sats will be hot or Holochain, vet, wanchain and matic.

I will also do this. but, so far, it seems like the amount of my bitcoin with ethereum I have is 50:50. however, I am still trying to continue to collect bitcoin to be a bigger asset than other assets before halving. I think, when I have 1 bitcoin, I will not exchange anything, even I might try to duplicate it.

It makes sense. Why sell 1 btc into altcoins when you already have the strongest crypto currency. Maybe consider 30% of it into altcoins if op really wanted a taste of altcoins.

I don't think so, there is another probability that if bitcoin dies there is other altcoin that already replace it as the top of the currency with the same features or more, and more secure and user friendly. Hard to happen since bitcoin's fame is already at the top, but in 10 or 20 years it might be happen because new technology is coming every years and people must the move to the best one.

If I had 1 BTC right now, I would probably hold around 50% of it in Bitcoin. The other 50% I would invest in Ethereum in anticipation for the new update. I would then sell that Ethereum back into Bitcoin as we get closer to the release date and the price rises up. I don't think I would hold the Eth until after the "news" drops. It will probably drop back down a bit when the hype dies down. Then, I would hold all of that Bitcoin until the top of the next bull run.

Maybe it's enough 75% for bitcoin and the rest buy BNB coins for IEO participation when launched at Binance, because I'm sure IEO in Binance will give big rewards and after that buy as much bitcoin as possible to deal with halving soon, so I will forget about the coins others first before halving occurs.

For diversifying purpose then its not bad to choose up some good alts in the market specially the top ranking ones.Bitcoin is more worthy
if we do talk about long term aspects but it isnt bad to have consideration on some projects.Yes, they are on bottom prices as of now
but you should know the accompanied risk on purchasing some coins but ETH and LTC isnt really a bad choice either.

I personally will try to decrease the investment in the major coin. 1 bitcoin is not a lot when we are wanna getting the profit from the long term investment. To play in the middle tier coin just like credit will be the best choice. more volatility and really cheap the price of coin which can bring a lot of profit for us. just try to put a small money on major coin.

Bitcoin is a forever trusted Cryptocurrency so you will invest 50 percentage of the total investment. But stratis is not a perfect investment for current traffic because they stay in 96th rank in coinmarketcap and they low volume in current scenario so most are concentrate the top 10 coins in crypto trading. I think we can invest 0.2 percentage of BNB it will make good profit on future.

don't put it all in one basket, that's a suitable phrase for it. it's just that, I might hold the bitcoin, and try to get another one. in this issue, I might try to produce another altcoin in another way. not putting in one basket is good enough, but I aim to have more bitcoin assets than others, so I don't think to sell it is a good idea.

Almost all the answers are ethereum, Well its potential is huge especially next year. It is because of their development that they can bring their investors back.
And if I were to choose I would also choose ethereum because it is sure to increase its price next year as it did in 2017 with the rise of bitcoin prices.

It is not really surprising that ethereum is the most popular answer, ethereum is by far the best coin besides bitcoin and it has a huge upward potential, however people need to recognize that maybe next year is not going to be as positive as they think it will be, but that is not really an excuse to not invest in ethereum since it is really likely that during the next years it is going to have massive growth and you do not want to be the person to miss it.
