I still have trust with few altcoins although I've made significant loss with them but I'm not doing anymore the mistake that I've done before and that is using bitcoin to buy altcoins.
The solution for this, we can use our cash to buy altcoins and just save your bitcoin. There's no need to sacrifice them if you are also a bitcoin hodler.

I think the biggest reason why people experiment losses when they invest in altcoins even in the good ones is that they are unable to identify when investors are going to change their focus from bitcoin to altcoins and vice versa, right now it is obvious that all the focus is in bitcoin so it will be a huge mistake to exchange your bitcoin for altcoins even the good ones, but once this change then it is completely safe to invest in good altcoins like ethereum or litecoin.

If I had 1 Bitcoin, I'd obviously hold it and not sell it, because for me Bitcoin is the most promising coin in crypto.

This is a good approach to the situation, anyone that is holding bitcoin right now is holding probably one of the best investments ever, so it doesn't really make a lot of sense to get rid of it, once you get any bitcoin unless you really need the money that bitcoin should always stay in your wallet and should only be sold during a new time ATH, but if you have some fiat to spare then it could be a good idea to buy some bitcoin with it but you need to use a small amount of that fiat to buy some altcoins.

If I have 1 bitcoin right now maybe I'm gonna hold because there is bitcoin halving so for sure the price of bitcoin will increase and it could go double the price.

bitcoin is a crypto that is very popular in the cryptocurrency world. So, when I have 1 BTC in my wallet, this is already the best investment choice. However, I have the second option, which I will use 0.2 btc to buy ETH, because I still have confidence that prices will increase after the bitcoin pump.

It seems I will glance and buy a few Waves and Atom to make investment, I see Atom has started to move up, the increase is 13% now, but for the waves not yet moved, buy it before you are late party Grin

for me if i have 1 btc i wont pick any other coin cause for me bitcoin is the strongest coin and its worth holding. But if needed to pick one altcoin i'll choose binance coin.

altcoin have been on bear market in long time. I dont wonder if many people are affraid to it
And I agree that investing in altcoin for long term isnt wise choice. We should invest in Bitcoin
But it doesnt mean we dont buy altcoin. We still buy alt for taking short term trading. We would get more profit if we good enough understand technical analysis

There are too many coins to choose and its so hard to pick whos the strongest beside bitcoin. If i have 1 btc i will first make a research,i need to know if a project is good for long term and has plans for the future, .

Maybe I will only buy ETH because I really believe in this one project, and also I will hold the remaining BTC I have after I buy ETH. So I only hold 2 cryptocurrency.

If I have 1 bitcoin I guess I should split it, 50% for bitcoin, 25% for ethereum and 25% for Binance coin.. These are good investment to me, good for long term.

I will not buy any altcoin this year. If I had 1 BTC then I would definitely hold on to it until halving happened and gain profit with it. I am not too concerned about altcoins because if BTC increases, altcoins will continue to shed blood, investing in Bitcoin will be the wisest option at the moment.

Definitely I just save my Bitcoin, because that's what the matter most instead of just trying your luck and expecting something good happen. I would rather just get something real instead of that. No more questions asked.

Just tell you bud, but don't get too excited on halving day. Take a look at 2016, the price wasn't increasing at all on that day.

I would buy a lot of Vechain, NEM, and BNB since i think they are really worth it to hold and they really have potential to increase their value in the future and making a swing trade is really good.

But as of now, it's much better to hold BTC than to buy an altcoin since the price is increasing and we don't want to miss the chance of getting profit.

If I have 1 bitcoin in my wally I think holding only is not profitable and increase our profit although when bitcoin back to higher price, but I use for trading with altcoin or with bitcoin it self like selling when bitcoin raise with higher price and I will buy bitcoin after price back to lower, maybe if use for trading one month later I can double my bitcoin from 1 btc become 2 btc.

Use 1 BTC and diversify investments to be able to make the most of the profits in this market. I will hold 0.5 BTC and use the remaining 0.5 BTC to buy some good altcoins in this market such as DASH, ETH, NEO .... these are the altcoins I consider to be the best in this market and will easily help giving us profit when the bull market starts. However, each person has a different investment way, you can hold Bitcoin and wait profit if you are not fan of altcoin
