I always considered VPN grey area and I don't use it in general. First and only time I used it was to collect Arsenal free spins, but since that promo was open for my region I don't consider that as faul play.

If somebody uses it to collect promos from several regions, I would consider that gaming the system and bookie in question should have every right to suspend the account or ban promos for that account.

For instance I remeber I had one version of multimaster availble to me and some other regions had another one with cricket. If somebody played both with the use of VPN i would limit that account.

Sportsbet has different offers, promos and parts of the site available for different regions. Easiest way to try it is to get VPN and connect to the site. I hate doing that and try to avoid whenever possible but for some reason Arsenal roulette is not available in Croatia while every other roulette is. Go figure  So I had to use VPN to get to free chips from Arsenal promo and it worked without any problems. What is worse it doesn't say that Arseanl roulette is not available in Croatia, you just can't get to it. It is like it doesn't exist. I thought I was going cuckoo since I can play 13 different roulette tables without VPN on Sportsbet.

Hint: I found out that Brazilians have the least restrictions from the countries I tried.

I think this has been discussed before actually and I'm the one who can confirm a few things here once more because it has all happened to me already, and in case it is confusing for everyone:)

Promotions differ from country to country, so Trofo is correct there. My location is determined from work which is where I access Sportsbet and basically where I connect from at all, and because of the private VPN at the office, it seems I get Cricket promotions, such as the IPL outright promo, but also for 4-3-free, when you guys were all discussing football, I had cricket.

And one big thing also, your account can have betting promotions totally removed. This is what happened to me sometime about a year ago.

No more promotions for opting in. If you click the direct URL it takes redirect to homepage. No more 4-3free even. So all the contests, outright offers every single thing gone. This has nothing to do with Specials bet or whatever, the betting parts of the site are all still there. I asked Support before long time ago when it first happened? They said it was region thing.

About 2 weeks ago I finally contacted Steve after feeling left out for so long, and now my account again has all promotions that can be opted in, and 4-3free

Yeah but you are forgetting the other side of the medal. All the people that are placing regular bets and they can't access the site without VPN. Gambling license prohibits bookies to allow them on site but they only need to check IP address. If people are using VPN, bookie can close their eyes and just let the people play.

If you were the head of bookie, would you let that revenue pass to competition? That is why I cal it grey area and I am quite sure most bookies handle it on case to case basis and taking actions only for the worst abusers.

Indeed, as above. My promo page only looks like I've just joined SB. A 10% extra casino boost for new players, and then a list of all the SB ambassadors. No biggie though, I'll just wait till World Cup and if I can't join the promos I'll nudge

Also agree with VPN use, most of EU is legal and even recommended to use it anyway, and as long as bookies do enough to comply with licencing (esp with KYC and AML), I think it's fair to say if they Know Their Customer and they do not enable Money Laundering, they're fine. Users from restricted countries can use VPN to circumvent restrictions, but it becomes strange when users from allowed countries use VPN as well. These users are either acting funny or engaging in illegal activities; if I owned a bookie, I would ban users from allowed countries who use VPN. However, I understand that the business side comes first.

EPL is back this weekend and it's been a long break since the last match so it'll be hard to know what form all teams are in come Saturday.
First match up is Arsenal vs Tottenham.
Last time I thought the gunners would lose but blanked them 3-0.

Believe they only lost 1 match all season. Not so sure what to make out of this match since Son was on a role during Hot Spurs last one.

The special should be a juicy one so keep a look out for it to land early Saturday morning.

This national break was a bit better then usual for me since Croatia played 2 very good games and I even managed to keep my losses to minimum. That being said I can't wait to get back to my usual pools and Premier League Fantasy predictions. Missed those very much.

I just checked and was surprised to see that literally half of the games would be winning for such a bet, and the other half would not. Out of 26 games in 13 games, both teams scored goals, and in 13 games there were those which did not score a single one. I took the last tours, did not go further.

And yeah, Potter had another two weeks off to fix things at the club, our players on international duty all did well so at least the players are looking sharp and there was no injury concern so it was a good boring week of football, I was only able to see the England - Germany game and I can say it was worth it.

You are quite off, England - Germany was almost 1.9 odds for both to score. Probably because England just scored one goal in previous 5 games and that one was penalty. But I had a feeling there will be a lot of goals in that game, also helped that England was already relegated and Germany couldn't get to first spot.

I don't think there's anything odd about Sportsbet.io offerings betting lines for an event they are sponsoring (have a look at the bottom-center of the poster).
It's a Celebrity boxing event that will be broadcasted on ESPN in Africa with viewership potential in the millions.
It's actually a very good marketing idea if you ask me, considering rappers Cassper Nyovest and Priddy Ugly have more than 10 million social media followers that will likely be interested.

Yeah, that was a real downer. I did sense something was coming even from last season (or was it a couple of seasons ago?) when they started removing all of the Chinese bookies from jerseys. I didn't think it'd affect license holders for UKGC though. In Netherlands things happened real quick a few months ago when Ronaldinho was all over bus panels promoting a new local casino (the govt here allowed 7 new casinos as they started re-regulating online ones last year) and then all of a sudden sports personalities are no longer allowed on betting ads.

The solution isn't as simple, especially with the vague wording EPL's used. But anyway, as long as it doesn't affect me. Tough when you know the realities of kids on social media and internet these days. They'll now just go to dangerous places to gamble, and it won't be because their football idol bets.

Finally the wait is soon over. This have been one of the most boring international breaks in a several years, cant wait to see some real quality football again this weekend.

Big test for Arsenal tomorrow when Tottenham comes on visit. Last 6 meeting between the sides has ended in home wins so hoping the statistics holds up tomorrow as well.
