I finished 5/10 with that Chelsea win and i'm thankful that their match delivered a bunch of goals because I tried to hedge in some way by betting on the over 2.5 goals and BTTS yes. Somehow things went perfectly with both of them hitting.

I have a similar bet planned for later. Newcastle to win paired with another leg that should easily hit like the over 1.5/2 or BTTS to increase the total odds close to 1.70 or better.

Arsenal on the road is always a dicey move, but I hope they win for the sake of our prediction entries.

Surprisingly, this week has a lot of favorites that could hit and at the same time it scares me because it's usually when the underdogs could pull an upset or force a draw.

Didn't expect so many responses a day right before the EPL predictor pool started.
But a welcomed sight indeed!

Took a screenshot of the predictor pool entries right after I entered in and just now 5 minutes before the first match starts to see how many entries we have since the beginning of the week:



So we have more players this week than last by about 5~ more entries.
Good observation and shows the progression of it's popularity.

There was some sort problem with the functioning of notifications on the forum where there were multiple ones getting sent out a little while ago (think most were affected within the past 24 hours) after reading about it from DireWolfM14's post on another thread earlier today. So I will assume you just ignored the excess ones like most did.

Yeah Manchester City were on the slide in a downward spiral but seemed to right the ship in their past two matches including this one. The odds reflected this pre-match because when I placed my bets they were @2.35x and Chelsea weren't much better. But City were slightly better in that department so that is why chose them instead.

But now Chelsea are the ones looking to be on the slide from their top 10 spot for so long in the past few months all sudden.
Where was Cole Palmer the wonderkid and his attacks this match? He was nowhere to be seen it seemed watching the match.
At the end of the match both the twin managers hugged and it was like looking in the mirror for both of them seeing them together. That gesture after every match they have during this season will always be comical to me.

That means profit and streak secured once more with my current predictions going 5/6 and hopefully we can get more here to potentially break my personal best of 7/10.

Palmer cannot perform alone; it must be difficult to play with Jackson week in and out knowing that he will waste every chance he gets. Every time I go to the pitch and find myself in an average losing set, I just take off my boots and head home. Palmer's performance has not declined, but the problem is that no one is creating; the wingers and midfielders are not creating so it's extremely difficult right now.

 Football rivalries died 10 years ago; all we have now are coaches kissing each other farewell after every game and players hugging and discussing PS5 with friends on the opposing team.

On the first matchday got 4 correct but nothing changed on the next day.
Got all the matches on Super Sunday all wrong. So hope you got the Villa draw or even the Manchester United win correct. Tottenham leading at halftime then losing to Leicester City really was unforeseen by anyone.
Foxes were 6.00x prematch as I usually don't look at the higher odds because of being enticed to put something on it. But for some reason I did, knowing how the Hot Spurs are well known to give up late goals and go on to lose their matches.
Had Crystal Palace beating Brentford so just knew the bees would come out and sting my picks yet again.

There seems to always be a draw or five in these rounds so having just the one is a real surprise to see and should of landed us atleast a prize of $100. But Tottenham & Nottingham Forest really messed up most of the winner's predictions for this round it seems.
Next round is for Feb 1st so it does feeling like a long ways away. Being the Lunar New Years tomorrow for most.

I learned my lesson from the previous rounds to not get cute with any picks and just stay with the favorites until the wheels falls off. Once we get a tough week, that's probably the time i'll switch up with a few underdogs and draws.

Think it would be much better towards your pool predictions if you wait for these matches in the champions league to finish. Think I had seen Aston Villa having a match tomorrow against Celtic.

Atleast you won something. I joined twice and I had 10 and 12 correctly predicted answers lol. One thing that I like from this predictor is that its literally 50 50 on all those games so yeah someone could be lucky and get atleast few thousands from this pool
