Nah, it's more of a damage control than a payback round. I didn't risked a lot of coin on that betbuilder, but i'm glad that Newcastle ended our round on a high note.

I also finished with a 5/10 record and i'm lucky I forgot to confirm the changes i've done midway through the round because my draw in the Manchester derby was left unchanged.

I got all four draws correct, quite a few changes in the starting 11 of both Chelsea and Arsenal matches pushed me towards going against them.

Woah, never would have expected anyone to actually guess 4 draws. It actually feels weird for me when I had all those draws, I cant really explain how it feels to me but I just cant have more than 2-3 draws though so yeah I tend to choose the favourites which of course is a dumb decision especially when it comes to the end of the season like this where variance results tend to happen
So anybody got a good winning bet on UCL?

Hadn't bet on any of the UCL or Europa league matches this year so didn't have any winnings from the promotion you were placing bets on so to get prizes.
Have been mostly just saving for the UFC and F1 when they have value in placing bets on certain markets.

Seems to be the best way to survive these rounds are to make those changes midway. Usually when there are several draws happening on the first matchday.
But now we have to wait until next week to place our entry into the next EPL Predictor pool. Unfortunately.

That weekend special got smoked right away after Arsenal drew against Brentford and crazy how City's game ended with seven goals. 

Also, my predictions are in a bad spot again (2/5) after those two draws and I never expected Everton to break Nottingham's streak at home.

Yes it wasn't a good start for the EPL weekend at all. The only one was the very first match with Manchester City winning with 3 goals in their second half.

At least the next set of matches helped us recover since most of the home favorites won their matches and Chelsea was the only game that ended unexpectedly.

I'm leaning on Fulham for the last match, but i'll probably ride it out with Bournemouth regardless of their recent bad results.

Speaking of Bournemouth and Fulham later today, it's kinda hard to ignore a specific trend for both teams.  B'mouth's last four home games (in all competitions) have been 2-1 or 1-2, while Fulham's last six away (in all competitions) have been 2-1 or 1-2.

I need to see if Kluivert is fit to start, and i might put something on Bournemouth, who by the way haven't won at home in the Premier League in nearly three months. I feel like they are due.

I could probably had 4/9 by now if only I picked Newcastle, yep this was quite obvious wasnt it. Im kinda biased when it comes to Manchester United so I rarely select them to lose so I'd rather swallow it and picked Draw as my bare minimum when it comes to their games lol

I'm surprised they managed to park the bus and sealed the game with a 1-0 win, ending the BTTS trend after several games.

I was hoping for a 2-1 scoreline because I placed a BTTS ticket, but anyway, i'm glad that I stuck with Bournemouth to secure a 6/10 finish after that rocky start.

Arsenal should win against Ipswich. Salah got a new contract so yeah pretty sure he could be contributing for sure but Aston Villa might be exhausted after their game today against PSG so Newcastle could be dominating them over the weekend. Overall its decent though but I probably wont take it, 3 simultaneously events to happen for merely odds of 3.3 is not enough to convince me to take it

I was about to take this but the odds has dropped to 1.63 and I thought I would be getting over 1.8x using the red boost but I didnt get it. Hadn't seen the Superboost feature for the past month if not more.
Asked about it for a Newcastle United match several weeks ago and they checked and enabled having it just for that match for me.
But wasn't available for the Hull City match the following week and just checked before today's game and it was not there again.
They have been playing off the wall so the boost wouldn't raise it by much, I think the @1.71x I saw earlier would of got @1.99x or less so not really worth it for me. Unless I use it for a betbuilder for @5.50x or above.

Had already put in my selections for this weekend's EPL Predictor Pool as we normally have a match today but since it is a holiday the UK celebrates I think this is the reason why the match set on a Tuesday instead.

As expected of Newcastle, I should have taken it even if the odds was 1.6x for me. Well figured it would be way better with the superboost. Anyway the odds for Newcastle to win on the next game against Villa is around 2.7x. Newcastle won last 3 of their H2H so yeah they have the edge but Villa after Rashford's transfer is a way better team for sure

There's your BTTS on the Aston Villa-Newcastle match, and it only took 20 minutes for each side to get a goal.

Those next two legs will be the real test, even though they're favored, both are playing on the road.

Also, how were your predictors holding up after the games today? Mine was okay, 3/5 after that win from Aston Villa. It should've been 4/5 if only West Ham had held on for a few more minutes.
