What a brutal weekend for some so-called top teams and all our Multis!!  The top team in each EU Top 5 country is completely unexpected but its making watching the game's fun and exciting..

Ive sent Rdbase a email this morning regarding the payouts for 1st to 3 for the weekend promo... Ill wait to hear back from him and will pay out later today GMT time..

I have also had some Southampton shirts come across my desk and Im happy to put them up as some prizes for this week's Football action. If you guys want to work out a promo, im happy to supply 3 or so brand new shirt as prizes.

Sounds like nice and simple solution. I like that idea. If somebody does not  feel comfortable sharing his/hers address with Sportsbet they should just skip from that part of competition.

I already have home and away Watford T-shirts it is time to get a Southampton one as well

Thanks a lot everyone. Really glad that won two prizes in this round. Regarding tyKiwanuka's side event I was thinking of taking 38 or 39 but saw buwaytress and tomahawk9 already taking those so went ahead with little lower and went for 37.

If only they didnt take that yet, I would have take 37. I was pretty sure that either 37 or 38 gonna hit and decided to go with 37 instead but chose 36 because you took it. That 1 goal from burnley sucks, if it ended with a draw it would have hit 36  Too bad but congratulations

I actually have one old Watford home shirt without Sportsbet logo which I bought when I was in England some time ago. Then I won that shirt on the poker promo and that one never arrived  Then I got another one (away shirt) from some promo on Sportsbet site which arrived without problems  I am actually due one more for participation in the Sportsbet Premier league pool to finish my Watford collection.

Sounds like a very good plan indeed!
Especially when southampton are doing very well in the premier and are in a solid position to whoop the rest of the teams they face coming into the Christmas break.
As for this week's prizes I have followed up with steve and they should be sent off to you guys today.

The late comer to the party who I mentioned right under their submission when they posted it, will more than likely get a free bet for this time around because we had a consensus on at what point those who join would receive a prize from the pool of dedicated participants. 3rd place(s) w/7 correct picks:  ralle14, buwaytress, Trofo,   15,15,15.mbtc plus 5mbtc free bet each.

now "entebah" came 3rd, but i think was a late entry into this little comp.. so for now, paid a 5mbtc free bet, but if you guys are fine with him coming late, ill then pay out the 4th 3rd place prize of 15mbtc.

I don't understand this calculation And I am not questioning the rules (up to SB/rdbase) nor do I claim to have any say in this, I am just wondering and think this should be clear for next week^^ It's super nice that SB sponsors these Xmas bonuses and is even paying out more than announced Makes this whole thing way more fun and increases the chances to get some BTC for us mediocre tipsters.

The juice and freebets aside and having this 50/30/20 in mind, these two should have gotten 40mBTC each, since they share 1st and 2nd place (50+30mBTC). And then we have a 4-user-tie in 3rd place, where the 20mBTC would get shared.
It was the same last week, when we had 3 users at the top and they shared the 100mBTC amongst them; 33.34mBTC each.

It's the same in sports with the dead heat. If two athletes finish in first place, there is no second place then, but the next place is third. With the above calculation, it would theroretically be possible, that a user with fewer correct picks gets more mBTC, like:

9 correct picks: 5 users -> 10mBTC each
8 correct picks: 1 user -> 30mBTC

Do I miss something here ?

being a dead heat for 1st, i figured 35+5 would be a fair 1st place, but as last week we were on some other calculation, I have boosted tomahawk9, Avirunes up another 5mbtc cash to meet up with the coin calculation from last week.|
Others keep the rewards.

I think everything is even now with a few bonuses for 3rd places? as for next week..

Ill need to check with the boss, but for the 3rd week (next MM) , and last big run before xmas, maybe we can pay out 50/30/20 for all who finish 1,2,3.. but ill get back to you soon.

I just cross-checked tyKiwanuka's final table for this round with rdbase picks, he has 7, not 8, i think you've made a mistake there.  2x 1 places and 4x 4th (or 3rd...however you wanna call it) places.

As a poker player I would say the correct distributions would be that the two guys in 1st place shared the 1st and 2nd prize money= 40 mbtc each, and the guy in 2nd place receive the 3rd price money=20 mbtc.

That said, the whole point of this promo (from the bookmakers POV) is to create enthusiasm and action from the players in this thread, so by adding more winners, and instead eating some short-term losses in form of freebets/cash, they reach their goal more effectively.
Sportsbet being generous as always by adding even more cash and freebies to a promo that bring them cents on the dollar short-term.

Do you have some rule how to join this section? I think every week have match and good for predicting and which one team include to prediction. I think very interested to be in your section about prediction some football match but I still not understand looking each person have different prediction football match, maybe could we choose random for predicting match depend we want or have specially for predicting which one team in your selection.
