Yes @arallmuus I noticed that new icon appear the other day called Zed Run but only hovered over it to see what it was. It had to do with horse racing but didn't know it involved with blockchain betting technology.
Very interesting and will give it a try the next time I do a deposit so to place a wager.

I tried to click on the Zed Run than I saw it was horsebetting but there are two horsebetting on sportsbet so it doesnt make sense to have 2 icons in it si I googled what Zed Run is and this is what I got

I saw that too! It doesn't load for me though, or rather, it tries to load and I can see like something appearing for a milisecond, then blank.

Blockchain based gaming is such a little developed area. They did dice, they did crash game, they even did lottery (like on freebitcoin) but until today no new game tried to use blockchain randomness and hash to build a new game so if this is it, well done!

Pretty cool right, I mean they managed to get sportsbet on board which is literally one of the biggest sportsbetting site around but Im not sure about how big the market is. Horse betting is a kind of thing but virtual horse betting is on a whole different zone though so anyone that bet on this market must have been familiar with how Zed Run works otherwise its pretty much blind betting based on the odds. Its not something that most people would bet on obviously

Just been watching he FA Cup which I usually don't since EPL is not on this weekend, so why not.
With Newcastle United a usual fixture of the EPL they are having all the chances late into their match with Sunderland.

I had no idea about this but thanks a lot for the info! It's only digital racing right ? we might have F1 and other sports in the future ? because so far I just tested a bit the platform zed and it's fluent and very eye candy.

I will try to watch it a bit and then if I'm curious enough , maybe I will place a bet on them as well but I really don't trust horse races so I will go with car racing.

This technology really amazes me with what can be achieved in the cryptocurrency/blockchain environment.
They have been around for the past 5-6 years and after doing some research into them, they are very successful with this first project and they are based in Australia so that sort of came to a surprise aswell.

Really good marketable name for the winner of that race am I correct?

Found some info on it for you as with these kind of new features offered on the site Steve was the one I would go too so to get a very through response from. But they are away for awhile unfortunately and asking live support about such a new feature usually get a "hold on I'll check that for you" and me waiting for awhile and get a "we are not sure but will email you back when we get more information on this" response back.

5-6 years? so they are basically on the same time with axie infinity huh, iirc that was one of the nft games that makes it huge. Personally Im not really a fan of NFT gaming or such but yeah some people really loves them and they can make money out of it but I personally probably wont put any decent amount into these type of thing but heck yeah this is so much different because you can literally bet on it

Thanks for explanatins on ZED horses. So in the end, they are still practically just plain NFTs with characteristics but they don't really develop or evolve which is a shame after all these years NFT is still so static (I don't know how else to explain).

Actually all the PR on ZED run says provably fair but I couldn't locate anything about provably fair mechanism... maybe I can't find it? It would be also slightly disappointing they don't use blockchain cryptography/hash function to make provably fair results. Which is the whole point of crypto gaming supposedly!!

Crypto and hash provably fair is the very crux of randomness in games. If you race in real life, horses, cars, etc, you know the odds of winning, but you have random outcomes that affect event and results.

If the horses have same characteristics race to race the result must always be the same SO they must use RNG to help decide outcome correct?

Every Provably Fair game like dice or crash allows user to see themself the result was correct and fair.

And about characteristics, a real horse can be developed to improve (and if you don't they deteriorate). So I'm saying NFT haven't figure out a way to do this. You played Pokemon? You don't keep breeding Pokemons, you improve the one you like the most

I havent seen anything at all though and we are way past the holiday season with all league already up and running full throttle but we dont get any of the special yet.
