That match suddenly went into overdrive in the last 20 minutes. I thought my picks were going 0/2 after Haaland pulled through for Norway's two goals in the second half, and by some miracle, that last minute penalty from Brazil cashed my BTTS.  

I've taken the under on the next match because i'm getting 1-0 or 1-1 vibes with both teams being defensively good. I was also eyeing Mexico to qualify, but didn't have enough confidence to pull the trigger due to the opposition they've faced so far.

Well its still a profit, overall you have been getting lots of greens lately so a losing abit wont really matter I guess

I got fooled with this odds as well thinking that it will be either 1-1 or a close 0-1/1-0 win but the game literally changed the momentum after Bellingham scored two goals

I placed a BTTS bet and England qualified in this match, Now the interesting match is Spain vs Portugal, I think BTTS would be a good bet again.

That would be another ideal bet to take. Both teams are gonna start scoring since the first half and honestly, there isnt that much value in either taking Spain to win Portugal to qualify for the safer options

For Brazil vs Norway I took the exact same bet. I guess the majority who are placing bets on this match are sure it will be an aggressive style of play from both sides. Also are certain that Haaland will score atleast one goal to secure the btts bets.
I really think Brazil will be too much for this Norwegian side because they have a full lineup of talented strikers while their opposition only have a few on hand.

I got greedy and put in Brazil + BTTS lol, should have stick with only BTTS but again greed took control over me so I had BTTS on this game but I still need BTTS on Mexico England as well to win this betslip

Bruno Guimaraes failed to score that penalty, this game would have gone differently if he scored that one but its still a decent game.

Don't know why they allowed him to take the first penalty of the match when they could of had Vini Jr do it so to make sure it went in. That certainly cost them the match with decision making like that by the coach.

Unfortunately, your bet on under 2.5 failed, as the score ended 2-3 with England winning, Initially, I doubted there would be many goals, at least a close scoreline, however, the game heated up after England scored first.

England hasn't had many high scoring matches but they delivered when it counted. I doubted they were going to beat Mexico but they pulled though with Kane scoring for them too.
Not so sure about Spain today as I have had my doubts about them ever since I lost my first bet of the tournament with them having a 0-0 draw against a much weasker side.

So Brazil had the worst choices made in their starting lineup and lost.
Do you think Spain will do the same against Portugal today?
Putting on Dani Olmo, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal would be alot better than having them substituted in for the later stages of the game.
But you know those Spanish coaching strategies in La Liga can be quite controversial so wouldn't be surprised if they fiddled with their starting lineup during this quarter-finals.

Haven't seen anybody mention about shots on goal before so that market should be something we should be talking about more often. Neves would also be another one to look at with the amount of chances he had in their last match.

True, I placed more units on the BTTS, so it worked out regardless. That under in the England/Mexico game was such a trap, it looked solid in the first 30 minutes, and then shit hit the fan with those two quick goals.

They looked lethargic on the field and had absolutely no energy out there. Did Ronaldo even have a shot on goal throughout the entire match? Just seen him passing forward but that was about it. Really sad match to see if it was to be his last time at the World Cup.
As for the other game yesterday, Belgium smoked USA 4-1. So now all the host nations are out of competition.

That game was so suffocating for the USA. In the first 30 minutes, Belgium controlled the tempo and eventually the USA's defense collapsed. At least the BTTS hit before the half, but Belgium's offense was so relentless.

I'm going to ride this prop again until his odds don't get boosted. It's hard not to see them score at least two goals, and surely one of them will come from their best player. I also have Argentina mixed in a double play, I refuse to believe this goes to extra time like the Cabo Verde match.

Nah there is no way that he could land a shot on target playing like that. Most people expected the game to go over as well with both team to score but yeah it was unexpected. I thought it would go to extra time but its just lame that Portugal dozed off for a second then the a goal was scored

To be honest, I wasn't expecting that Argentina comeback in the last 10-15 minutes of the match. Scoring three goals in that time frame was like having some kind of plot armor. 

I already wrote off my parlay when Egypt scored that second goal and was just praying the Messi goal would at least come through.

It'll be a solid 3-0 day for me, if Columbia does the same and pulls a win later against Switzerland.

After Messi had his penalty saved I was saying this is that Cabo Verde match all over again and they would go to overtime. But that was a miraculous comeback when I looked at the time left and it was just ticking towards the 80th minute mark and I was thinking they surely can not score another one to tie it up.
Those who wrote them off after going down two goals were shocked when they scored two more to win the match.
I certainly was one of them as I was already thinking the previous champions were going to be out. Once again during this World Cup my hedging bets were wrong and now Messi will be on his way to face Switzerland in the quarter finals this weekend.

Aside from the fact that the reffs were abit biased and favour Argentina. They managed to score 3 goals in that short time frame and it was amazing. Egypt didnt even try to play abit rougher after the Argentina scored the 1st goal, they should have increase the intensity of the game

So you must of had your bets like I did with -1.5 handicap on Argentina to win. That was the only one I had and it of course was a bust.
Switzerland does have a strange way of playing so if they sit back and let the gameplay come to them they might have a chance. Don't you think yesterday's match took alot out of Argentina?

Don't know what will happen in this match if it will end at regulation 0-0, play overtime and then go straight to penalties just like they had done to Columbia for their match yesterday.
Switzerland has always been a weird team for me to watch. They play efficient football and keep their energy level stable throughout the entire match.
They might just watch Argentina attack until they tire themselves out but then that is always risky because Messi can put one in at anytime.
