the chances that another bullrun will happen is very high, if we look at how successful payment services like wepay and alipay have become in China I can't stop thinking that in the next three years everyone will start holding Cryptos for payments, many projects will fail and many will be successful, research is the best tool to use
Research is always the best tools for you to comes up with better investment. There's a lots of possibilities to happen though it's always the investors who will shoulder all the responsibilities to catch up. Don't invest your money into something that you don't really understand. Keep in mind that it's your money that you need to take care.

Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space  already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too
This two you mention are probably true, We must do some reasearch before we participate those bounties. Because one of us in here if they saw BM are trusted they participate on it even not newbie are those one already and after the end that would bounty rewards happen so that we need to research if we want trusted bounty. Visit scam accusation thread are most important if we are bounty hunter we need to visit on that thread sometimes.

The fact that scammers are now smarter, they announced a big project with several partners. But after that, the project did not develop and just stalled without any demands, this was called shitcoin. And I think shitcoin is also a semi-fraud project, although not all shitcoins are owned by scammers but now scammers are smart enough to wear masks.

Scam section will not even discuss the shitcoin project because they only discuss scammers that are blatant. And remember don't look at the project only from BM, but try a deeper analysis.

Researching the best altcoins and investing in good projects will save investors from frustration. The more they analyze the projects, they will have better market understanding, from my experience. Scam projects are everywhere in online platforms, being careful is necessary for this situation. Fools always go for the easy money but they forget the first rule: The easy money is in the mouse trap...

Very valuable information for not only newbies but all those wanting or participating in bounty campaigns. These days, many bounty hunters especially newbies are falling prey to scammers. It is because they lack knowledge enough to know the crypto sphere and bounty campaigns. So they need to conduct research before joining any bounty campaign.

I believe newbies are among us and they always come across OP warning from time to time even if they don't visit scam accusation thread but still they will make mistakes, making mistakes is how they will learn, remember that playing it to safe will not open your eye to new things

Many beginners really will not pay attention to the good advice of experienced members of the forum, because they come to the forum to get big money in a short time. Only after they are defeated in their own experience will they listen more to valuable advice.
This is often the case, where when they have gotten a failure or loss from what they do. They will start to complain and ask for advice on what should be done to avoid this and this is a natural and frequent thing in cryptocurrency. So for beginners it is better to take the time to read the discussion about cryptocurrency, be it trading, investing and also bounty hunting so as not to get a failure or to be able to better understand about it.

now there are many review sites, like icobench etc., so it's not too difficult to find what they need. But still they will be trapped in the influence of active communities on social media, and in telegrams will also be the same. Trapped in expectations by comparing price increases because the hype will make them think abstractly, but I'm sure this will only affect beginners who have experienced the same thing, and not beginners who have never been involved.

First thing first its advice able to invest only what you can afford to lose because nothing is certain in crypto world, gains and profits are always around the corner but risks of losses are present as well

I like your opinion number 3, most beginners do invest their money on a large scale in the crypto currency project, they just want a big profit without knowing the risks, if you trade, and invest, at least use your money half of your life's money, that's will help you in terms of emotions when trading, of course, equipped with trading knowledge

I think the biggest problem for beginners is that they are impatient. That's why they usually invest without much research. But in order to learn the crypto world better and make healthier investments, we always need to do detailed research. And always we sholud be patient.

It would not help newbies in my opinion. There are thousands of thread with the same massage, but I did not mention less people taking part in crap bounties or yelling that an ICO is a scam and he invested 5k into this garbage, it is not going to end.
I was once a newbie on this forum and posts like OP help me a lot but I guess it all because I wanted to learn then, I came from HYIP investment plan and I lost some money already, I never want the same to happen that was why I learn crypto basics first

Ethereum just had the Hardfork a few days ago, now is the time to be extremely cautious, the better the innovation, the smarter the scammer tend to be. I expected that within this new sector of finance dealing wit hBitcoin and cryptocurrency, their were bound to be a numerous amount of scams floating around. This should be expected, the market is really unregulated and the year of 2017 proves that. How else could the market price pump to $20,000 taking the altcoins on the ride with it, only to deflate indefinitely? Now we wait patiently for the price to recover and finish correcting itself. It's going on two years now, almost 3.

Well, I think it's not only for newbies. Even people with enough knowledges and experienced ones should've always be more careful. And always be cautious of anything, anywhere and all. Scammers always comes with a new way of scamming their victims-to be. Whether you are a newbie or not, there's always this small gap for scammers to tricked you into their trap.

Especially with bitcoin halving in the coming year, I can't imagine how many ideas scammers came up with to fraud those poor soul.

The upcoming BTC halving is the next bait of the scammers, everyone should mind his business carefully. The various ICOs are launched by the scammer groups and they are busy with creating the next batch of fraud projects. Investing in the project requires a dedicated job, serious market analysis and more. New investors avoid doing business with low-rank projects.
i also believe with what you are talking, they will create a kind of scheme next year and for those early people who know that scheme can earn big amount so we should watch what it be and you can also earn from it .

What kind of schemes does created that does early adopters can benefited though? Provably it's another scam scheme since that words is so over use by scammers and maybe it's best to not look for new ICO coins and stay focus on Bitcoin or maybe on ETH,LTC, and other top coins since for sure they will have a great future on next year timeline.

in my opinion for a beginner, it is still too risky to start investing in a project, even though the profit opportunity is large. but it will be even safer if investing in altcoin is already widely known to many people, the market is already known to many people and you for beginners will also be easier to get information because altcoin is certainly a lot of discussion. for example etherum, ripple, doge, xlm, and many others.

I think new people will always listen to the advice of their predecessors, because new people are obviously still very minimal in their knowledge and they also want to learn for free from people who already have a lot of knowledge and experience in the field of cryptocurrency.

I agree to what all you said but the problem is newbies are taking this message for granted. Some are lazy enough to even read the arcticle. Because everybody were all thirsty to join campaign, or invest something without even reviewing what the project has or if it seems suspicious.  But I really commend this topic, I just hope that newbies would care about this kind of stuff.

Nice one dude Wink. This one suits very well for busy and as well as lazy people out there. Actually, this is the fastest way I could imagine to know if a certain project/service/platform got fraudulent activities. Imagine, all you need to do is to get updated on the Scam Accusation (Reputation is helpful too) and you can now filter the scams from legit ones. Plus, you can see testimonies there from our co-members so you can really weigh which side would you believe in Grin. This only proves that our forum is the best one stop place to find everthing inside our beloved crypto sphere.
