Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Still? It's not like they are targeting crypto veterans. There are new people flowing in all the time who don't have a clue about crypto scammers yet, and greed is hell of a bait for anyone who think that crypto is a fast way to riches, like most of the newcomers think.

I'm sure the one who got scammed are new to cryptocurrency because old cryptocurrency users must be aware about scams, something that promising so much proftis in a short time should be avoided. People who got scammed are got baited by ponzi scheme that already made people rich but not realizing they're the next target.

Honestly, i am not blame them because sometime trader that open investment really attract us people especially if we really can't do trading. Maybe we other people could warn them the risk only. All decision is on them and the risk must be taken. Although there are a lot of people who maybe not know or who open investment only told them the advantage, but not resist out there people who already in crypto for long time usually make investment in other trader.

Your last sentence is a golden rule - no easy way of profiting in trading except knowing the set skills. There aren't any experts in trading. But people always choose the lazy way out and that exposes them to scams. Greed is a dangerous vice.

They only learned after they got scam, they want to go through a hard lesson, and that is getting scam, these people still believe that there are easy money investing and trusting these traders without doing research, an important reminder to always remember at this point in time is always Do Your Own Research, scammers are getting better because people are very much into Cryptocurrency.

Never trust someone on social media, especially regarding money. starting from the last 2 years crypto was flooded by scammers, so don't expect you to get rich quickly in crypto-world, you need broader insights and insights deeper than what we dreamed of. I hope that something like this does not happen again, and I am sure that the incident involved is a new person who understands crypto. I remember saying that only greedy people lost in this game.

This kind of scam will happen regularly in crypto but still, peoples are not learn a lesson from past because of we not going to trust any social media promotion like that because it will be always risked for our investment amount and i have experiences abut this kind of scam so I never trust any other part of social media promotions.

This is probably due to the lack of DYOR before investing in any project. People mostly invest after listening from different people and after browsing catchy sites. Even after research, no one can be assured that underlying project is a scam of valid. ICO is like gambling , where people usually lose.

in my opinion and I'm rather sure if the person who was cheated is a newcomer to crypto or a beginner, I can't talk because this is also their fault (investors) who want to get rich quick in the wrong way. I hope this bad experience can be a lesson for them to be better in the future

How saddening that there are still investors that believe on these traders to hold their funds or at least trade for them. This is the result of lack of knowledge, they weren't aware of this kind of scheme that's why they fell for it.

I was almost surprised by the huge amount of Bitcoin collected by this scammer, which is 53 Bitcoin, He got rich quick by deceiving innocent, naive people, How can they trust a person who doesn't know anything about him, just his name is hitsXBT?! If this scammer promised them that he would invest their money and provide quick profits to them, then I think this person is smart until he deceives them with that simple, There are no quick profits in trading and investment, We must be careful and do not trust anyone, whatever their experience, You must learn, invest, loss and earn.

Easy question. It's a little hard to explain. But in short, it's about people's ambition to make money and want to do it right away. I think the best example of this is things like bitcoin doubler. Supposedly, they send back 2 times the amount of BTC you send. Why would they do that? Is this an ad? No! So, the person who did it, what is their benefit? Nothing! So this is definite SCAM.

When there is a new market people will not be knowing about everything in it and scammers will take advantage of the ignorance and most of the people who got scammed are mostly elderly or who are not having any tech proficiency and only with awareness we will get rid of these scammers.

In hope of quick and easy benefits, those victims failed to analyze and assess the venue of investment that they are going into. This people still thinking that in case they able to be lucky quick passive profits will flow for them. Realizing only after the money was gone since scammers are just waiting and wisely tricked those people who are new or greed from this investment venue.

sometimes there are people who are easily provoked by an attractive offer, but when we are interested then we need to think logically about the offer. if really not in it would be better to stay away and avoid the risk and vice versa. because things that are illogical sometimes have to be kept apart unless really giving clear evidence.

I agree with that. Already When thinking about such an issue, we should always pay attention to how such a thing could be true. So why would someone pay you for no reason? It's wrong to send money to things that can't be real.
