Because people to earn without doing anything and they see this kind of scheme as a passive income which is not. The risk of investing in some traders are very high cause there is no guarantee in trading. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Hope people will learn from this mistakes and stop this kind of investing.
The major reason is that they want big money with small work and investment and this is what scammers target. They offer such deals where investors can become rich in short time and this intrigues majority of the naïve investors. Those who are pro investors, they never fall for such scams rather they work on legit projects that demand a real hard work and devotion for the market. Seasonal investors usually get scammed.
There won’t be any scamming if greed and evil vanish from people’s mind and that is impossible we all know. Scamming is simply a corruption and we all know that whole world is fighting this evil in one way or another. Indeed, sluggish and slops want to make money by sitting idle and they often fall prey to useless offers which apparently offer big money but they don’t have any creditability.
The biggest reason here why we still fall to the scamming schemes of the scammers is because they are too smart to think different strategies in which how can they convince a victim and fall to their trap. They are also eloquent because most of the time they can convince their victim through verbal speaking and using flowery words or hypothetical reasoning.

Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money
We can't control our greed then give blame for scam. Greedy people don't realize and recheck the effect of sending money until lost. This is very easy money to earn form scammers. This how people lost money and don't trust for another real case, when real project are dying for funds.

If you have lack of knowledge of what you are doing and you have no time to explore things then you will really fall into scam repeatedly, that's why it is so important that you are learning from your past experience as well as from the experience of other people, learn to explore things before you give in, if not then you will not be successful.

Many of the people that fall for this are mostly newbie. I do not think anybody who understands bitcoin and investment will fall for this unless maybe the person is gullible or being blindfolded Grin. for newbie they do not see it as an obvious scam until they become hit. Before I also got to understand crypto, I almost fall for a crypto scam that wanna double my investment in 12 days  Grin. well, it is one of the advanced HYIP that use bitcoin as the payment processor.

This is very sad. How come someone give his her btc in exchange of so called assured returns?
53 BTC is a huge amount. It must be due to hundreds of diners.
There is nothing like one night star in the world.
Please refrain from sending your cryptos to such scammers.

exploring one's own abilities is highly recommended, without doing this we cannot have the necessary knowledge and abilities. maybe when doing this will experience many obstacles but the level of focus should not be chaotic when doing self-exploration.

The answer to this is just simple, greed and selfishness. It is only greed that will make someone invest in a project knowing definitely that the conditions of what they have invest in is not really reliable and realistic. Greedy people are the ones getting scammed in the crypto space in recent time...
It is not only their greed that is causing this, after all most investors need to show some level of greed since we all want to profit from our investments and yet many of us do not fall victims of obvious scams, what happens is that those people have an uncontrolled greed, and we see people like that in the forum all the time, those people that want to obtain 100x profits in a single year by investing in an ico are chasing an impossible dream that most likely will bring them misery instead of money.

There are still a lot of foolish people. And all those people are very easily deceived. They easily trust other peoples. Even they don't know their accurate identification. And by trusted them, send them lots of money for business. After sending the funds they understand that they are fall in Scammer. So don't blindly trust people.

In my opinion, the reason why people are fooled on Twitter that offers free Bitcoin or Ethereum is because of greed and also a lack of knowledge of cryptocurrency. People who think rationally will not get caught up in such fraud and might report it as spam so that fraudster Twitter accounts are suspended

Usually those who are exposed to fraud are people who are new to cryptocurrency and hope to get free coins without doing research first. For the current conditions, I think there will be more and more new fraud models and I think we need to be more vigilant

Maybe it's just that people do believe on things out of desperation. Many people are doing things because of desperation maybe due to the reason that they think doing such things will make things better. When it comes to cryptocurrency, same thing applies because people are really that desperate to earn crypto so they easily believe into promising schemes even they know the risk that they might be scammed because of that desperate move they will make. There is no doubt why people are easily falling into scams because maybe because of desperation to earn crypto that easy or because of greediness of wanting more than enough that turns out to be a worse thing. There are also cases that those who easily fall for scams are new into this industry and that is being taken advantage by those scammers.

In fact, many people are still being cheated because there are many new entrants entering the crypto market. I realized that people who were cheated often became alert and not fooled a second time. Later on, I became a community manager in a small airdrop group, and realized that there were too many greedy people. and also often trapped by scammers. It is only hoped that newcomers entering this risky market should not be greedy, because it is one of the things that scammers hunt for.

I think since we are all humans, with different mindset, different access to information and different speed at which we get information, things like this are bound to happen.
Some due to greed, some due to trusting strangers, some due to lack of access to information; some because they refuse to do their own researches.

Scammers offer something that can make people rich in a short way but surprisingly there are so many investors who have lots of money that are stupid (just arrived at crypto). don't have much knowledge in crypto and don't know the risks that will be experienced

scammers now can act as normal account mate meaning they can hide like nothing is different from natural offering.
there are some scam issue here that the scammer attract investors because
of their usual encouraging and not like
the past style in which they will color your eyes with huge profit, now they act as is.
There are a lot of people who are actually new to this, they can be an easy target for scammers.
even not those new but the lazy accounts to check and verify those offerings.this will lead them to become a victim since most of the answer we need can be found via internet.

With technology, the number of fraudsters is increasing. They are deceiving people with various tactics. So everyone has to be on alert against fraudsters. You should be smarter when you are investing. You must be observant and knowledgeable on how things work so you will not easy be fooled  and get scammed by obvious scam strategies. Be careful. Thank you for your post.

People who got scammed are got baited by ponzi scheme that already made people rich but not realizing they're going to be next target. Never trust someone on social media, especially regarding money. So don't expect you to get rich quickly in crypto-world, you need broader insights and insights deeper than what we dreamed of because its a vast world .  I hope this bad experience can be a lesson for them to be better in the future . I always saying that only greedy people lost in this game.
