Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam?

You might be able to identify a scam when you see one but there are so many newbies coming into crypto on a daily basis, those set of people might still fall victim of a scam.

Most newbies fall to these scams because they really thought that getting into crypto will give them easy money. Most of them have the notion that they can get rich quick here. Also, since they are new, they don't know yet the face of a scammer when they see one. So basically, it is greed why most of them are trap in an obvious scam. If the returns are too good to be true, one should dig more about such offer.

Not all obvious scams looks obvious in people's eye, some scam will look so legit that you won't even notice any traces of dubious schemes, most times people are to be blame but sometimes it's not always people's fault

One will seriously think about this that why will people fall for crypto-scams nowadays .People are scammed by many fraudsters almost every day.This is a very common occurrence in crypto-currency.I don't know why people fall again and a gain for these scams.People should be careful to avoid been scammed.

That's simply because they are greedy. If they saw an opportunity they will try to jump into it and will fall eventually. These scammers are all wise and they know how to act and make it like a real thing. Some uses some props to their method. For example, they will show you a transactions link of their winnings but the truth is they are the one that still handle those accounts. Many of these are prominent on Youtube, Twitter and Facebook. If you are going to earn big from simple task then think twice there are no people giving huge reward for an easy work. Thats why there is a golden statement if the reward is too high that is a scam.

i agree with you that it is foolish to send bitcoin to another person who say's that he is good in trading , never send bitcoin to another trader , just trade yourself

the second part of your text about easy money i do not agree with that because a lot of people here on bitcointalk earned a lot of easy money , sometimes things are true when they sound to good to be true

yes, not all projects can be seen whether it will succeed or not. Most investors are sometimes so excited and continue to support a project even though the scam is quite visible. however, I suspect that the absence of in-depth knowledge, and wanting to take shortcuts to get rich is one of the important factors why people are still victims in this matter.

people are lazy to read, that's the first reason why they are easily fooled. on the one hand high rewards are always the priority that makes most people interested in joining them.

Because they greed for money, they don't even think first what will be the result of it, things only in their mind is, how much they will earn.They easily giving their trust,that kind of person would always be the scammers target.   But sometimes other scammers are changing their strategies they don't do same way in stealing.

And there's nothing wrong about it, you should stand proud despite of having such status ! Remember that MONEY isn't everything in this world. Yeah it was essential for living but life is more than that. If I have to choose, I would still go with clear conscience despite of being poor because the fulfillment of having pure heart is the real happiness you can get .

I agree. Being square and fair might happen and do not drive having lot of money on doing fraud. You cannot find satisfaction in life when you do bad and against the humanity. There are lot of scams in social media that offer a business or job which being abandoned after gaining. Hope that scheme stop and many learned from their mistakes. Do not fall easily. It is an evil deed.

The truth is that we will always have victim of scam as long as crypto space exist no matter how much you counsel people. I feel greediness is the root of it. Although we also have some novice that have no know of how these things work, some just see that on twitter and see it as opportunity to invest and they end up on the loosing side. You have said it all, people should stopped being led by greed which these scammers always leverage on. I have seen many posts or tweets on Twitter with one Information or the other pointing to how to make or earn crypto with little or no work and it's funny there are still some people who believes such posts. Now about trading, just like you rightly said, there is no perfect trader and that means the best way to trade is by learning it yourself through this way, the person will be better each day. Also, some even follow pump and dump groups while also deals with them and cause them to lose money. So in all, learning and seeking knowledge about trading is the best way to be a successful trader.

^ It is in our nature to want to be more famous, more wealthy, more handsome, more beautiful, more successful, basically living a life that could possibly not squeeze into one life and having a great adventure. Why? Because deep down we know we will die and we want to get that chance for a rock star life. I know rock star life may not be the right thing but that 0.000001% chance is really the perfect thing that would make us live very rich.

I have never fallen for a scam I think but I still believe that one day someone could very well scam me, I am just too careful about these things but they could simply scam me by making it look very realistic instead of making it look like "make 100% per day!!" they would make it "make 10% per year" and I would fall for that pretty quickly honestly.

But the reality is different, there wasn´t any successful ICO that claimed guaranteed profit in advance. Look at EOS, they didn´t promise really nothing, but now it is one of the biggest cryptocurrency.

Yeap greed was main factor but beside that lack of knowledge was also making people fall to some scam so it's our job as an community to warn them, Basically today some scammy project, team, coin/token, bounty, etc become more good so it's really important too to do some research.

Firstly this crypto market is full of scammers. Like other market where money flows the scammers are every where. And the primary target of the a scammers are the new comers.  Normally new comers think that they enter the market invest and by overnight they will a rich enough to buy a sportscar. But they don't under stand the risk. And for this wrong investment plan they picked by the scammers those actually offer unimaginable numbers. Regarding eos, by the way I agree with you. Also first came to mind to me. In general, people should understand that free cheese is only in a mousetrap. All you need to do and think for yourself.
