Every time the reason is the same, they see a quick rich scheme and think that now it has to succeed and bring them the dream wealth. But the reality is different, there wasn´t any successful ICO that claimed guaranteed profit in advance. Look at EOS, they didn´t promise really nothing, but now it is one of the biggest cryptocurrency. Regarding eos, by the way I agree with you. Also first came to mind to me. In general, people should understand that free cheese is only in a mousetrap. All you need to do and think for yourself. Is EOS really applicable here? EOS came around the time that new crypto projects were gaining much recognition. EOS also came with its own blockchain and it ca e with such a good uniqueness, different from others. That it got accepted and is still very much involved till now is no surprise. However, the obvious scam here is not about those projects but giving out your fund to interested people who claim they could offer a service to you, which you could have done by yourself.

i would say a times is out of greed, some people want to make quick money in crypto as such even when their instinct is telling them that they are about being scammed they won't listen as their minds are already clouded by the greed of making fast money
on the other hands , they may come true in one scam project if they are fast enough, and if that happens they feel they could always be lucky to move out before the scam developers execute their plans. But ofcourse they can't always be lucky with scam projects.

You have said it all, people should stopped being led by greed which these scammers always leverage on. I have seen many posts or tweets on Twitter with one Information or the other pointing to how to make or earn crypto with little or no work and it's funny there are still some people who believes such posts. Now about trading, just like you rightly said, there is no perfect trader and that means the best way to trade is by learning it yourself through this way, the person will be better each day. Also, some even follow pump and dump groups while also deals with them and cause them to lose money. So in all, learning and seeking knowledge about trading is the best way to be a successful trader.
Going by the order of nature, People will always fall victim due to the born greed in human nature of wanting more through the most quickest and easiest way possible. I've spent quite a quality time looking for answers for why it's seem so easy for people to fall victim for even cheap scam then i realized its not only exclusive to cryptomarket but every investment market out there

Let the project along with the their products speak for itself. You really now if you are a good crypto user and have experience when you know that its a scam of not. I think the new crypto users are the one that fall in these traps. The way that the people thinks that it easy for them to become rich in these field makes them easy to fall into scams like these. Don't trust too quickly if they promise to give back your money with make it double or triple. You should also have access with your money not only them.

Mostly newbies fall into that, éo´le think that it is easy to get like 3% return a day and try it out when they realize the money is gone, there is new bad projects coming every day with the same pattern, must be people without information falling into it.

One thing I've learnt in this industry is that ones a scheme seems like a fraud, it's most likely fraudulent. There is no free money anywhere. Most people that fall for these scams are greedy and want to get the highest reward for investing very little. Atimes, I understand that the economy could be harsh and people are desperate to make earns meet, but it's best to know that the cryptocurrency space is highly risky and several dubious persons looking for opportunities to take advantage of the newbies.

If someone don't have any idea about trading and woild want to make money through it, a broker to trade for them is the best option they have. Some people are introducing themselves as a legit broker and it really looks so real, maybe that is the reason why people really fall for scams. Maybe most victims are new to cryptocurrency, but I myself is not that new to cryptos but I still don't have the idea how to do trading, I wanted to start too but I'm also planning for a legit broker which I think I have already found. I'll start to invest to him later this june or july. Hope that it's a legit one.

There is something called FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). It happens in a lot of different domains, and not just in the world of cryptocurrency. When an altcoin or a token suddenly goes up in value, the investors flock around to purchase it. And this is a bad strategy in cryptocurrency domain, because many of the coins and tokens undergo pump-and-dump cycle. You will be trapped, if you make your investment during the pump.

I think it is because they are greedy and cannot control themselves. That is the only reason why people encounter scam projects in this market. If people invest in selective and patient, I believe that scam projects will quickly collapse and no one will lose money with it.

it's just that there are some projects that are difficult to identify if the project is a scam. to be honest, many are scam at the end of the sale. sometimes a team only lists a project and doesn't care about the project after that.

Greed may play a role but there are some people that are just inexperienced, the crypto space is still relatively new, more and more new people encounter this thing. Im sure if they get scammed they will do their research next time.

Newbies are usually very gullible, and many are victims of scams. Because it's not enough knowledge about crypto investment. Or the person is greedy and wants instant profit, even though to make a profit must go through a fairly long process. People with characters like that are very likely to be victims of fraud.

There's definitely nothing like free money but some project have an airdrop to their community. Stellar foundation was having airdrop on keybase for something that was free until it stopped. Majority of the free ground veaways are fake so we should be aware of this.

Maybe I misunderstood because I generally thought that people were enticed to invest in crypto to basically avoid the middle man (or the broker). Because unlike with the stock exchange, there's a broker in-between to assist you and charge you extra for their services to process your stock exchange transactions.

Well, it's not that only early crypto adopters are here. New people keep arriving crypo world and mainly from news like how Bitcoin made people rich etc. So obviously they think it is easy to become rich by getting into cryptos and then sometimes they fall into scam traps.

You don’t have to be a novice to be deceived. As a rule, many people who see an attractive picture and the possibility of quick money are interested. Of this number, a certain percentage may very likely send money to scammers.

Agree! Most people believe that cryptocurrency market is an easy market to earn money. They don't really understand the way this market world. They know about crypto through news and media (which is usually overreacting). Because of lack of knowledge, they are at great risk of being scammed. It's too obvious that you'll be fooled if you do something you don't know about!

In my opinion, people who fall victim to a obvious scam are people who doesn't have wide knowledge in cryptocurrency or newbie trader. If there are people who are not newbie who believe in such a scam, I guess they are just that greedy in money that they could get but didn't know they fall in a trap. It would be best to avoid social media like twitter when it comes in trading because in social medias, there are lots of people who could easily make an account and used it for bad motives especially that they are lots of people in social medias who doesn't know about trading.

Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money Very simple, it's because a lot of newcomers in the scene with a lot of money to spend mostly wanted a quick return of investment. This is why they just go with the hype and spend money on anything that they think will give them fortune, only to find out later on that it is fraud.

Because they are greedy and want to get rich quick in this market. They think they can still make money as easily as they did in 2017. I see a lot of new people in this market in the same situation, I have given many advice to them but there is no anyone who hears it
