Therefore, I checked all the posts from the past week and found that one topic had been moved to the off-topic section. Although I remember exactly that that topic was in bitcoin discussion section. I want to note that I almost never conduct a discussion in the off-topic section, and even by mistake I could not write there. I assume that the moderators moved that topic from bitcoin discussion section to the off-topic section.

In connection with the foregoing, I am voicing the question that I mentioned at the beginning: is it right not to count a post that was written as part of the rules of the signature campaign, but due to the decision and actions of the forum administration, which brought the post beyond the campaign conditions? I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the forum participant himself could not influence this in any way and initially acted within the framework of the campaign conditions.

In my opinion, the situation is a little controversial and I think that it is quite rare. Bestchange requires 25 posts every week but you posted only 25. You should be expecting that one or two of the posts can be moved to off-topic. No matter how good you are to avoid off-topic posts, some topics that you have replies can be moved to off-topic board. To avoid this, make more than 25 posts every week.

I remember when I was in Bestchange and the present campaign that I am now, I hardly even check the spreadsheet, but I am paid fully because I post more than required. I am not comparing myself to you, but just pointing out the reason I am always fully paid.

Another thing you can do is to check your weekly posts a day and some hours to weekly post end. If you see some or two posts moved to off-topic, you can be able to complete the weekly posts. But I do not like the idea of making exactly the same posts required by campaign manager.

Else, if nothing is done by you, expect this to happen again. The rules are easy to follow.

There is no precedent here, this rule always applies in all campaigns. If there are predetermined places on the forum where posts are not counted, it doesn't matter if the post was moved or the poster wrote in the "irrelevant" section. It's the same with deleted posts, and there can be various reasons for that. The owner of the campaign set such rules and it means nothing to him if the post was in the white zone for campaign counting for one day.

Not at all. The situation is the most common, and you are indignant in vain. I can say that I often send reports to moderators and requests to move the topic to the appropriate section. And quite often, topics have an off-topic place, which is where they go if someone reports them.
What's wrong with checking your posts? And also, what's the problem with writing a little more? When such conversations arise, many get the impression that some are here for only one purpose. I think you understand what I'm talking about.

It's rather common to have such events occur on the forum and I don't know if its your first to have necessitate the out burst. Don't know how many of your posts that got moved but, I feel it's something you can sock it up easily in a campaign that pays per post.
If it were to be in a campaign that priorities on post quota, you might have as well lost all payment for the week and that would be a lesson not to make 25 in exact.

Campaigns are about exposure and the campaign has designated certain boards to be where they are most likely to get patronage from and it doesn't just span through the week but the entire time the post would continue to exists on the forum and board of interest.

Hence, not having your post on boards of interest especially within the week in which the counting is been done already sets the project at a disadvantage. Its not your fault that a post got moved but, it places you at a position to evaluate as well the possibility of posts your commenting in not to have been in its right place to either report or prepare for the inevitable whenever it happens.

m2017 "experience is the best teacher", it is not only you that have experienced such incident. So next time as others have said, make sure you check your posts a day to the deadline for payment or the very day of the payment but before the time elapsed so that if there is any deletion, or movement of posts to off topic then you can quickly complete the number again. And as Charles-Tim said, always post more than the required number so that you will not have this kind of issue again. Or to avoid that, you personally count your post before the pay day.
There are some posts we think is good or has quality but for other people, we are talking out of point from the topic so they would report the post to be deleted or moved to the appropriate board.
Therefore, from what you said, the management only counted the posts in their accepted boards. So the mistake is not from them. Thanks for your understanding.

How would the manager know if a post was moved or originally was made in off-topic? Manually check every post? That would be very time-consuming. The only way to make it efficient is through automation, but that means the development of a custom script.

But also, at the core I think it's the responsibility of participants to not post in low-quality topics if they don't want their posts moved together with the topic.

Your posts should be in the appropriate section during the post count, according to the campaign rules. There should be no controversy. If your post doesn't exist in the appropriate sections for a week, you don't deserve payment for it anyway. It's useless to raise a question in such a case.

It indicates that you only make posts to get paid and don't have any real interest in contributing to the forum. Why can't you make more or fewer posts? When someone posts for the sole purpose of meeting their weekly post quota, it's not uncommon for questions like this to arise. If you have a complaint about the post count, you can ask the manager through a personal message, there is no point in creating a bad impression by posting this question here. The manager did nothing wrong here, your post was off topic when it counted. So it was totally your mistake. Change your posting habits to meet the weekly maximum post quota, then from next week you won't need to blame the manager again asking why my post isn't counted.

I believe thats not an issue mate. You have said that you are longer than 1 year but more of us here are stayed longer than you and as far as I can remember, theres none who complain about a post is not counted. Its just a merely 1 post, I dont think that would hurt you. Like others said, you could contribute to forum without even looking at your weekly post count. I myself didnt bother sometimes I even make more 40 post its because I am sometimes engage with topics that really interesting for me. You are good poster share your thoughts without thinking of the paychecks of this campaign.
