Smart people are still investing and filling their wallet as the price is going down and up but this call will not be made for you and anybody because nobody knows what will happen in the nearest future. If we are to believe speculations BTC must have hit $50k by now  Grin. If you want to invest for a long time, I think it is a good idea but do not forget to do your research on the coin you intend to invest in and probably get a hardware wallet to store your coin and token. If I wanna invest, I think BNB will be my number one priority for medium-term investment and for long time coins like BTC, ETH and XRP come to mind. The time has passed to keep on holding those shit token on mew. It is better to keep 2 top coins than keeping 20 useless token and be waiting for random pump on shitty exchange platforms Grin

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

With proper research, the good altcoins will worth investing into this year. It will only take proper and diligent research to pick rightly and be ready to take full responsibility of the outcome. Always make sure to buy low and take profit .

Major or minor, you have to apply the DYOR method. Because the market is volatile no matter how many people's opinion will be considered. As far as your concern, invest to altcoins that you like and you think will give you an excellent return.

But if you have no idea on it, don't waste your effort for it. If you think that there's no need for a major altcoin to be into your own portfolio, start making it like that one.

For investment in major altcoins in my opinion is still recommended at this time, although indeed a few days some major altcoins
has decreased prices. But the price decline is still within reasonable limits, after a few weeks ago several major altcoins had risen
following the price of bitcoin. And now it's just being corrected down, because I'm sure in the next few weeks the price will rise again.
So if you want to invest in major altcoins now is the right time, because the price is down.

invest in the type of potential coins or large altcoins there is no right time to start to invest in them, if we believe in the growth of the coins themselves in the future and of course have to do research in advance about the altcoin we will choose, so that later we will not will be trapped into investing the money we have in the type of junk coins that cannot last long
Ever since we have started, investing in crypto is such a good decision, it is really a good investment for everyone knowing that anytime they can earn it if the market pumps up. But investing into a long term projects is too risky but I can say that they are still able to earn money because at some point there's a big possibility that the altcoin they bought will pump up in the near future, they just need to wait for that to pump and keep on supporting on that particular altcoin. The thing is that you should take risks when you are choosing a long term investment because it needs time for you to earn. The key is that you need to have the patience for you to achieve your goal and to earn money that you want.

holding altcoin for long term actually not my decision, and other people too. sometime we just sell to take the profit, but if we hold for long time, it mean we dont have the other way to take profit. altcoin price is good at begining, and always drop and drop, so you can sell at begining or hold until the end. sometime altcoin give you much profit if they have good team

Not yet, presently bitcoin is growing and dropping over and over again, I think the best coin to invest on now is bitcoin, keep taking advantage of the price surging and dropping and you will have more bitcoin in your portfolio

investing in old projects does have a low risk, but it's good to be analyzed first, because the old project ROI projects have increased up to 1000%, this can make the price just go down! But if you invest in a new project you can just get many profits, but also have a big risk
That's true but remember the old project brings low volatility and possibility to get a huge return instantly. So many people who have bought those old coins were they still cheap and become rich people right now. You will never get a big profit if you can't even deal with the big risk that you will get from there. Anything in the speculation market is about to deal with the possibility to get a loss to make a profit from the market.
This how the volatile market works today.

I have been hearing that even major altcoins are gradually losing its value.
in fact due to market conditions all crypto is experiencing the same thing. does not mean that the major altcoin ended badly like a token.
For long term investment purpose, no more investing in major altcoins recommended?
it's your decision to invest in major altcoin or a cheap token.
I'm sure most people here will still recommend investing in major altcoin because major altcoin even in the worst conditions can still survive.
Btw, has anyone experienced BISPEX exchange known as its insurance funding?
this is the first time I know BISPEX exchange.

Please do not use any exchange apart from Top exchanges no matter what offers they are trying to give, now that scammers aren't making money through scam ICO exchanges anymore the only option left is building fake exchanges, go for top altcoins and you will be fine

When you are saying major altcoins, are you pertaining to the altcoins that are being on top ranking on the CMC? Because for me, it is not just major altcoins that could lose value or market price in a long term, it falls simply on the demand of the people to such altcoins we have. At this time, we could notice a major association of bitcoin and altcoin, the theory is when bitcoin increases, these major altcoins increases also, and it is probably have no concrete proof, so for us to understand if it is worth investing in major altcoins, we should see for ourselves that these altcoins have the potential to attract people's demand, after all, it will rely on the number of people having or holding this particular altcoin.

Name me the good projects which launched within last 12 months and the price of their token is above the ICO price. Can you name any? Hardly 1 or 2 or maximum 5, right? Now tell me how many ICO are launched in last 12 months, my estimate is over 500. So when the chance of making profit is 1 in the hundred then why to take risk by investing in new projects?

Better play safe and keep most of your holdings in bitcoin and diversify the rest in proven coins.

I really do not think it can provide tangible benefits. You are right, investing in a new project has a great risk. So in that case, I suggest not doing that. It is better to focus on one that has been proven altcoin or popular altcoin to be able to invest long term.

Major altcoins are almost their lower level, and this is time to invest in altcoins because everyone can't invest in BTC due to higher price and profit margin is small. Still, if you invest in altcoins, then the margin is more 2x or 3x profit so in my opinion should invest in altcoins and wait till May 2020.

The major Altcoin indeed lost its value but I still hold ETH, LTC and BNB for long-term investment, I'm optimistic that the three coins will increase dramatically after Halving later. If you have a lot of money then I think now is the right time to buy all three coins.

everyone can't invest in BTC due to higher price

btc is expensive yes but its price fell down alot  , it was only expensive on the year 2017  .  besides , who says that you need to buy a 1 whole bitcoin  ?  no one does  .  of course 1 whole btc is freaking pricey  , instead you can buy in smaller amounts depending on your budget  . you can always afford it anytime of the day  ( trust me ) ive been on there   .  major altcoins are good too as addition to our btc investment .  now knowing that alts also fell down along with bitcoin  .

Major Altcoin has fallen in price for some time because investors prefer Bitcoin. I think this is reasonable because in the middle of a sluggish market, investors will be looking for safety. But in my opinion, in the long run, major altcoin will recover because the market is very dynamic and will not continue to fall

well i think in long term investment, altcoins are not really good because of the volatile price of altcoins, i always refer altcoin for short term investment and for trading because the price of altcoins changes in days or weeks, for long term investment bitcoin is really very good so just do trading in altcoins it will give you profit.

holding altcoins for long term will make you earn profit, this is best to do if you are busy of something else like you have an offline job. most of the investors who just planed to hold for long term are the ones who don't trade, probably just for retirement plans too. altcoins however isn't the best option, most of us will just recommend BTC even if its just a fraction of it.
