There are many altcoins to keep your eye on and I can't keep listing them, all I can say is to do your own research and make sure the coins are very serious projects with serious teams, these types of coins hardly drop in value and watchout for new projects because they are so dangerous

i think the most coins that you should watch closely is bitcoin, since it will halving the mining block rewards this year. but if you ask about altcoins, i think ETH will be a good choice since there are some new features in ETH now.

UBT is a coin that must be considered in 2020, because UBT has a very good project and always has progress, so I am sure and believe if the price of UBT will definitely increase very high, therefore if you invest in UBT now, then you will definitely get a very big profit in the future.

I wait for SaTT and LCX tokens also Steem. They all have a purpose and solid project. For me if i invest for anything project must have solid purpose for investors why they must buy their coin. RVN is one of them because i am a miner and SIN is getting my attention lately because of their active development.

BNB can be a one of the coin to hold for 2020 due to their reputation and if bull run comes more chance for the exchanges to grow up along with the prices of their token.

I am indeed fan of Binance platform no doubt that they can be great when it comes to market capitalization but to be honest. Binance IEO is their reason of becoming popular. As you can noticed the IEO trend is slowly fading out and luckily their last project launched called wazirX  still managed to got a 3x profit from their IEO token price but how about the next project that will be listed on their launchpad? Who knows as the IEO tokens are being scrutinized by SEC.

For me, ethereum for sure. Besides of ethereum, I have a hope for grin and bnb to increase higher. But I also hope that the other altcoin can grow together. But maybe the altcoin will need to wait for bitcoin price to increase so the altcoin can rise so high, and that will give us another profit from altcoin. We cannot deny that the altcoin movements will follow bitcoin price, and if bitcoin price does not break the higher price, the altcoin will not have a chance to increase. Once bitcoin price increase and back to the lower price, then that will be a good time for an altcoin to start growing.

I would advise you to look into Ethereum.
There has been already a burst of news popping up about its 2.0 version and I think people shouldn't miss that out as an opportunity though, because I won't just disregard it.
In the end, I would still look into Ethereum first even if there's no updates like these.

The altcoin I should be watching right now is Ethereum because of their upcoming upgrade that's almost here. Have been a fan of ethereum and an investor. Ethereum will move beyond cryptocurrency enthusiasts imaginations because of their upcoming upgrade, holding their coins will give a shocker when its time to rock the May, 2020 stuff.

Ethereum is my pick to be the most successful alt of 2020 and it has already starting showing some positive signs towards achieving that milestone. Last week it recorded a new all time high after it decline from the $1400 it recorded in fourth quarter 2017. Bitcoin cash would had been my earlier suggestion but the possibility of it losing support is high since it's competing with bitcoin and non has ever won such battle since the start of the industry.

I don't think ETH will be a top pick from now because the primary use of the ETH is the smart contract used for the ICOs. The ICO craze has been shifted to IEO and it's a big question mark does the ICO market will be alive again those market has been captured by the exchange coins since the IEO projects are very profitable when compared to the ICOs and the exchanges require a minimum holding for the participation. All these will benefit the top exchange coins like BNB. My top pick would be BNB it might not give the best returns when compared to other alts but it will not disappoint either IMO.

That's shouldn't be the reasons why you should ruin out the second in command among the altcoins, believe me that, they will be moving or upgrading their PoS to PoW which many have seen as a catalyst to the possibility of the coin skyrocketing to another all time high again. Actually, am not ruining out the remains of those coin you have pointed out but, we shouldn't ruin out ethereum because of ICO not in charge again.

i find your analysis odd . dominance of btc is what makes the other price of crypto became better but here your waiting for dominance of btc to go down before alts like eth can rose   ?  i think eth will go down more if that happens  .  or you think that dominance means people are foccusing only on that coin while the demand for other coins decreases  . is that what you mean to say   ?  people picked btc  but this does not mean that all of those who invest on btc , are not looking for other investments   .

Better take a time noticing XRP. I've said it many times in this forum that XRP would be pumping this year as its system was being adopted by a lot of online transaction features of dozens of companies, specially Facebook for their online p2p payments. XRP is also good in traing as it fluctuates not that fast yet having a good market since before this year started.

I think 2020 might become a year of Ethereum. It passed through a deep correction and upcoming launch of Ethereum 2.0 will attract more investors to ETH. I am also waiting for a growth of BNB price because of development of Binance ecosystem.

First you should watch top-50 altcoins, they will be first to grow after bitcoin. They will grow only when BTC growth is stable. When bitcoin is falling or growing fast money is moving from USD to BTC and backwards. Other altcoins with low capitalisation will grow even later - when the main alts are growing slowly.
