What do the Raiders have going on that I don't know about, or else, what are the Saints missing?

It was just some statistical input, since no dog has won thus far this week. Odds are low I agree and that could be the trap I can't really make a point for the Raiders other than that they should be super motivated to play in prime time in their new stadium in a new location. And some experts say they will have a good season (I am not one of those experts ).

Normally Saints should win this easily and I didn't bet on this game, but will watch a bit.

I also have a bet on the Saints mainly the handicap still confident they'll win here but it might be very close if both teams continues scoring.

Edit : Nevermind  Saints' offense getting so much penalties. There was a bit of hope when the Raiders gave the ball back but still they couldn't get anything going.

@ralle14. I am not very confident. They are not only horrible on their defense in this game, they are also horrible on their offense. They have wasted a Raiders turnover that would have given them their chance.

Oh my god. This is ugly. Football gods must have heard me talking shit and decided to punish the Saints.

Well really what happened is the Saints punished themselves, and Carr picked up steam after the 1st quarter. It genuinely looked like the Saints were going to roll right over the Raiders in the first quarter but their defense has been absolute shit. Not to mention the penalties, Brees' interception, and then those tiny worthless passes -- Raiders have great secondary coverage. They need to just keep giving the ball to Kamara.

I love Brees but I knew something was going to happen, it just looked way too easy for the Saints on Paper.
Raiders having a great Start into this new Season lets see if they can keep it up.
I liked what I saw from Carr, took him a bit to get started but then was spot on!

This is the best I've seen them play since I was a kid.
Except for the blatant defensive penalty,

Well really what happened is the Saints punished themselves...  Not to mention the penalties

129 penalty yards against the saints, absolutely atrocious.  The Raiders looked good, but I wouldn't count on seeing them playing in late January.  Not yet, at least.  They had 375 total yards; 259 passing, and 116 on the ground.  Those are average numbers, certainly not the kind of numbers one would expect to outscore the Saints by 10.  They also seemed to find themselves in quite a few 3rd and long situations, and many wouldn't have gone anywhere if it weren't for the penalties.  Like you said, the Saints beat themselves, and LV kept the self inflicted damage to a minimum.

The  Raiders defense looked pretty darn good though, they held off the Saints after losing that fumble, and kept the offense off the field most of the game.  There was the one drive in the middle of the fourth quarter when they let Breeze pick his way down the field, but other than that they looked pretty solid.

I was surprised to see Herbert play, i don't think anyone expected him to play, and the announcers didn't specify why Tyrod was out before the start of the game.
From what i'm reading Taylor had to go to the hospital later that day to get treatment and is likely out for the near future. If yall remember he was the Browns starting QB in 2018 but had an injury, i think concussion, and that was it for him in Cleveland....tough luck!

Fitzmagic vs. Minshew Mania, the facial hair showdown on TNF  

Probably not the matchup everyone wants to see but at least it's going to be a high scoring game, 300+ passing yards and multiple touchdowns each.
I have two prop bets, James Robinson over 72.5 rush yards and Gesicki over 55.5 receiving yards, have of both of them in my fantasy team this week, i hope i don't get double the disappointment tonight lol  They did well over the weekend though:

- J.Robinson 16CAR, 102YDS, 1TD vs. Titans
- Gesicki 11 TGTS, 8REC, 130YDS, 1TD vs. Bills

edit; both bets lost, Jags with and without DJ Chark are two totally different things...no deep threat for Minshew to throw to.
I'll take the 30.90 fantasy points for James Robinson though (he was projected only 12.6), what a steal...

Good luck! I almost put a bet in for JAX to cover (-2.5) but changed my mind at the last second. That probably means they'll win by a lot now. Lol. Good 'ol Florida vs. Florida -- you know they'll have as many fans in attendance as possible, which I kind of prefer to empty stands and fake crowd noise, even if some of them statistically have to die of covid in a few weeks (not so LOL).

I just expected so much more from the Jags... :/

I didnt bet on my Dolphins because I normally dont bet on my Team. I should have this time, would have made me money.

I think everyone was expecting more from the Jaguars, even on their loss against the Titans they played well and they had the opportunity to win it, but in this game they were a disaster, it is not only they lost it is they way they lost, the game was never close, the closest they were was when the score was 14-7 but then their defence could not stop the Dolphins and the game went downhill from there, they have 3 sacks all season so they are averaging one sack per game which is ridiculous and whenever they were close to Fitzpatrick the guy just decided to run and averaged 5.4 per run, not only that they are getting dominated on the time of possession and since their offence is capable of moving the ball then it means the fault falls on their defence.

I am very disappointed because I thought if the Jaguars played well we may get to see Tua but I suppose we will have to wait for some weeks if Fitzpatrick keeps playing at that level.

It's rare that I don't find anything to bet on in NFL....today is one of those days Earlier this week I wrote that I like Atlanta, because Bears are poor imo. Falcons will miss quite some starters on defense though and odds have gone up, which is never a good sign, so I'll pass on that one.
Raiders were good against Saints, but Jacobs and Waller are not at 100% and Raiders in an early game at the east coast is also putting me off. I could just bet on the Patriots, but odds are too low for my liking.
I am tempted to go for Bengals ML, since Eagles still struggle mightily with their O-Line and Wentz is not in good form. Bengals kept it close against Chargers/Browns, but Eagles are another caliber. Not very convinced with this one overall.
Giants vs 49ers with all those injuries for SF is unpredictable and the rest looks ok odds-wise. I will probably just watch this week

i have a few bets placed already:

No Mostert or Coleman for 49ers which only means one thing, more carries for McKinnon (over 58.5 rush yards)
I will be watching the Eagles/Bengals game, i have Drew Sample over 3.5 receptions (had 7 vs. CLE), hoping for a big game from DeSean Jackson since he is in one of my fantasy teams.
Third prop bets is on Joshua Kelley total rush yards, over 53.5.

Have also Tampa's spread + Arizona's Over in a separate ticket, i'd be happy on a 2/2 split...but let's see.

I had this feeling too when I was checking the matches for my survivor picks. I ended up taking the big favorites which is the Colts and the Browns.

I also have a small parlay going with the Seahawks, Colts and Cards (-5.5) spread.

Edit : I can't believe the Falcons lose again with that big of a lead against the Bears.

Pretty crazy finish to the Rams / Bills game. After being down quite a bit early on, the Rams went on a late game scoring spree and managed to get ahead for a few, sweet minutes. It was all ultimately for not as the Rams had a dumb penalty on a crucial last minute play and made it a shoe-in for the Bills.

I put in one easy bet: ML on Buccaneers. It's not a big payout but I just don't see them losing this game -- not in this universe or through much of the multiverse.

What a comeback by the Bears earlier today. I have them in a 3 team parlay and had them at the ML and thought my parlay was over heading into the 4th quarter as I didn't expect them to win but they did, there was no stopping the Bears momentum in that 4th quarter. Now just need the Bucs to hold on and win for me to win my 2 parlay bets I put on. I placed my bets with AceDBets which is a new crypto sportsbook that launched in March this year.
