*when I was young and played the snow games were the best!

I never got a chance to play football in the snow when I played.  Plenty of rain games, though, and I always thought they were more fun than the early season heat-stroke games.

One time I piled 8 dudes in my dad's van and took a trip up to Truckee to play in the snow.  We wore three pairs of jeans, leather jackets, and motorcycle helmets and had a bb gun battle in the snow.  Ahh, the '80s were the shit.

What is everyone's prediction on, I will listen to @ChiBitCTy and begin to call them the Commanders, the Cowpersons vs. the Commanders? I also do not want to offend the feminists hehehe. In any case yes, did the oddsmakers make the correct estimation on giving the Commanders -10.5 against the spread? I reckon this is very much a overestimation.

Also, what are your predictions on the Ravens against the Chargers? Why is this only +2.5 against the spread on the Chargers? This might be another overestimation, I reckon. Will you agree that this should be +6?

The let the record be known I'm a staunch independent who despises woke culture. I just don't let it bother me as much as others do.  That said, If you lived in the US, you might have a deeper appreciation of what native Americans had to endure.  It's ugly.  But human history is ugly.  was talking to a very close friend recently, his grandparents fought in WW2 as Nazi officers w/the Axis powers, and I recently just discovered my great grandfather did as well, and axis fighter on the Italian front.  We both are sickened by our ancestral pasts and the paths they took,but so were they (our grandparentsa).  Most forced to do what they were told, as per usual...so if calling the the commanders (the worst name eve a team could come up with lmao ), and it makes people feel better, so be eat.  Thos who it bothers, well , suck a dick and ove on for god sakes.  Why let it ruin your day..that's just my two..

 

Don't even get me started on the new name, unfortunately the NFL has succumbed to some of that woke BS and it surely is sickening . Should have stayed as the Washington Redskins with that sick ass logo too, its too bad that they found it offensive, although I do think that is a load of BS i've talked to folks in tribes and they said it didn't bother them. The Native American's got completely screwed though by the US and that is why they were "given" their own tribal land which is considered an independent nation for each tribe and they largely have no restrictions on gambling.

Also, that ring is sooo sick! I hope the same ring is going to be awarded in The Coin Counsel league, which i'm pretty sure it is probs this exact same one. I'm coming after that ring!!!!!

Patton even said so much after winning the war, something to the tune of "we fought the wrong enemy."  Always remember, history is written by the victorious, and it's easier on their conscience to convince the world that they were the good guys.

Pretty sure the snow didn't help at all. Pittsburgh was having a hard time keeping Myles Garret off of Wilson the game as well. Then coach Tomlin makes a bonehead call with Justin Fields that blew up in their face. Just wasn't their day.

I don’t feel bad , but disappointed. I knew my g grandfathers wife for many years of my youth so it’s not far removed ..hard not to feel disappointed. Though like many Axis soldiers they did what they did to survive, justified? Not imo. Though that’s for those not completely brainwashed, which was many.

I don’t get my news from just Fox, or CNN (in fact neither of them) or News Nation, the same I don’t get my history solely from propagandized US gov history books I was fed in school.  I watch documentaries from both sides, I speak with people worldwide about this stuff, I read countless books, and on and on. I speak mainly of WWII …the Axis Powers were scum. Most the soldiers, not so much. Some, sure. I’m well read ..I think most people are idiots because most aren’t (you get that, as you referred to as such. My fav subject is history because it’s the most important. I love to learn the real truths. On my book shelf (could go on and on..as I’m sure you both could too (why I like ya, not a dummy, and btw great quote!)

Wow. This brings back a lot of memories. I was a big Jon Stewart fan in the mid-00s and owned the other version of this book. In the middle there's this crazy centerfold/poster that "explains" the inner-workings of the government, including references to the shadow government, Illuminati, Lizard People, etc., and how they are all connected. Baltimore has the Lamar run threat but I think the Chargers will be ready for it and contain him making him have to pass a lot and the Ravens don't win if Lamar is throwing more than 30 times in a game. That's gonna be a key to the Chargers victory.

Did me too in 3 leagues. Worst week for fantasy for me by far. I had some dumb dropps lately too, waddle ehh, but Ladd , Jonu ..every league I had stud TEs. I’ve dropped Pitts, Hock and Jonu now in our league alone. My teams have just been so stacked but some of it’s looking like I chose incorrectly after today lol. I felt great about my chances in this league , but Hopkins not what I thought I was getting. Figured HOF WR w height for Mahomes, sign me up. Not been bad but not balling out.  I need Purdy and Sunny from remember the titans /Trev L back badly.

This is their head to head record, Jim was in NFC with the 49ers and didn't play the Ravens much if ever unless in the Superbowl. Now its 3-0 for John, Chargers couldn't stop Henry or Hill on the ground. Was a good game, but John owns Jim.

You gotta remember they were 5-12 last year so everyone in their building is loving what Jim has done with the team to this point. You weren't lying. Barkley with a career-high 302 scrimmage yards. He was one big run shy of breaking Adrian Peterson's single-game rush record. I forgot how many games Saquon has had with 100+ rush yards this year...he's crushing it.

The first, second, and third playoff spots appear to be set, with the fourth and final spot there up for the taking. There is one tiny change to Yahoo's current projections from last week. Moon Coiners are currently expected to lose their final three games and miss the playoffs. I very much wish to witness the Chargers on the playoffs every year with Jim Harbaugh, however, an AFC conference finals next season and a superbowl might be very early for them. I reckon if you check the Chargers' offensive team, everyone is under 30 years old. I speculate that the head coach has a roadmap of 4 years before going to the superbowl for this team. I also reckon that Jim Harbaugh might not trade for big receivers and they might also use their draft picks to get more young players.

Justin Herbert will be 30 or 31 years old on 2030, taking the Chargers to the superbowl and we might be speculating if he will be the MVP for that year hehehe.

Its do or die for me, CeeDee‘s Nutz & Eli-2 Brady-0 this week. Only 2 of the 3 can emerge victorious & with hopes for a shot at the playoffs.

Interesting that Pacheco is coming back this week after sitting out most of the season with a fractured fibula. If he does play, I don't see him getting double-digit points, so I'll have to sideline him one more week in hopes I come up with the big W this week.
