I was about to ask, where the f has Hueristic been..hadn't seen ya in Nuts playoff thread and was starting to miss ya bud, for real (who woulda thunk it a few years back  ).  Seriously I like most of our league quite a bit, and as I think I mentioned or quoted last year, the great Hunter S Thompson ...something something without football, life aint the fucking same.  It makes me sad as shit the season is over. 

Is it just me or does this feel like the fastest year ever?  Maybe it's just cuz i've gotten older and each year goes by that much faster.

I had the best year of my FF career, I mean I killed it in all my leagues.  Not one championship. 

Just so ya'll know, wheelz won our other league, again, (cheater) ..that's 3 of 4.  Paying him out the pot doubled.  We bet around 100-125 each year.   He has wona double pot once, I think once it was almost 4x and once like 1.5-2x.   I have to wonder if anyone else in the world has done the same thing.  Lucky mf...not that wheelz doesn't know his shit and he's my mf boy, so I am happy for him..but damn I got bills too Wheelz 


Let's hear some bold predictions for next year?   Anyone got anything good?

Really though, it did seem like this year flew by.  I expect this year's season will likely start on Thursday, September 4th, which is only 205 days away.

That's the way the cookie crumbles.  That one year when I won the league I had a pretty mediocre season, sometimes things just come together when you need them to, or they go sideways at the most inopportune moments.

I do not watch college football, what does everyone think of this player? Will the Chargers need to trade to get a higher slot to pick him?

@Huerisitic lulz, hey man I like fantasy any which way I can get it.  I'm now in a dynasty for the first time ever, and have been playing in a few different "alternative" type leagues.  I do love me some ppr..but honestly is it really that much different than being awarded points for a first down? Either way, don't you dare think about not being our commish and not play next year.  I don't want to hear that silly talk!

Agreed Nut, a lot of people don't realize he's older than Gronk.  If you didn't know that, then it really sinks in.  Man it's crazy the amount of shit he's been getting online for not having a productive post season, then the question of potentially taking a play off, and kinda let Kermit defend for himself..throwing his hands up in disgust. Most of all, they all know quite well each extra year means that much better of a chance of losing your mind, literally.

I think Kelce and Swift end up married man. He will likely retire and start supporting her more on tour and at the awards shows, she's his next superbowl. He has been pretty distracted during the last season and I think he knows it, at this point he is just hurting his team more than anything. Cheifs have over 20 free agents I believe as well and they will be looking to free up some cap space. Retirement and off into the sunset is the move.

This is a good argument. I speculate that their engagement might also be announced before preseason where it will be very much clear that Travis' center of attention will be on Taylor and less on football.

Oh I didn't realize that Fox bought them.  I mean I would imagine that's a good thing, but off the top of my head, I can't remember who owned them last year. I just canceled my YouTube TV subscription, I  noticed I really don't watch much live TV outside football season, and at 70 some dollars a month being the cheapest tear, have lost so many important channels simply cuz they are too cheap, as well as despising google easy call to save some bucks.  I think that I get Fox on my satellite dish of local stations.  Guess we'll see.

Well fuck yes I'm still having PTSD    I mean after that draft day, I mean I was on absolute cloud 9, even thought I knew it could all misfire and mean nothing.  But coming see him come in and do nothing, it was tough.  We also couldn't tell for a while if we had a good QB or not.  It sure seems like we do and as you point out we had a great O line singing and just another today (or was it last last night) either way some great signings so far, exactly what we need right now.
