If you're referring to Storiqa by STQ then it's not need to ask about it.
It shit / SCAM project since day one, YEAH i invested in it too when i was noob.

Another important golden rule about that bullshit of " buying the dip, buy it while so cheap, bla bla ba ", that doesn't mean it will go up again, not necessarily.

STQ is a dead coin since day one unfortunately, no team, nothing ... just plain bullshit scam project.

I haven't heard about the storiqa coin before, but my guess is that it died because it's not really useful or safe/decentralized. If it is useful and safe, demands will be continous. Price increases should be driven mostly by real demands and not by price manipulations or faking demands. Not a good idea to invest in coin with little to no use case.

When lots of buyer buys the bottom nothing happens, the quantity of buy matter if some buy a coin with Half of its original volume then price of that coin will skyrocket.

In my opinion, buying when the price is cheap is good in investing, but we also have to see the potential of the token. Moreover, many tokens do not have good potential for the future. even after the tokens are sold out, they disappear in the market. therefore we must be careful in investing.
You need to consider carefully before deciding because this market is not a place where you can make good profits and any coin can reduce prices if the market suddenly collapses. I am not sure how the future of this market will happen this year, but I hope everything will be okay because this is a year that many investors have expectations and lots of good coins for you to consider.

That happens. I myself bought tokens that later died. He concluded that you need to buy only after an in-depth analysis. This forum can always help.

Usually when price drops too much there is panic in the market and people loose hope that the price will ever go up, this causes panic selling, only the brave, lion hearted and seasoned traders and investors see the opportunity in massive drops and they tend to take such opportunitues to either add to their portfolio or making an aggressive entry for sure shot returns in a small period of time.

Trading doesn't work that way, when everyone buys the bottom when it is 1 gwei, then everyone gets it cheap.
Who then will buy back ?

Most times, tokens that reach the very bottom, are failed projects, with no secure or sure way of investment.

I've notice this strange things that occur once that a "bottom" has been touched ...we're going for another bottom and so on until the whales and big players are certain that their bellies are full enough to move towards next point of accumulate.

So you see, the best example for this is that in 2019 most of us thought that we had the final bottom in altcoins when Bitcoin was 3k$ but what happened after ? Bitcoin moved on 14k$ and altcoins was still bleeding so we thought again this is the bottom of altcoins and we bought again without knowing that the bottom will keep falling until november-december 2019 and even february of 2020. This makes the bottom to be such unpredictable when it comes to investments.

We can only buy coins at random, because we will not be able to guess the 100% favorable price for the purchase. Therefore, trading is considered a very difficult direction. Only with the experience and intuition of a trader can you find good entry points.

I'm thinking about that and the price of the coin will stuck at such rate. If a coin reach the bottom price and that will be a very difficult thing to recover its price to the initial price again or this rarely happened in our community and that's only a good coin that can do that even that needs a big news like google cooperation or something else that can bring the big whale to the coin to pump it again.
They can't buy at the bottom rate in the same time. The sellers have different sale order rate

Indeed, before we take steps in investing, we need to be careful before deciding to invest in coins. I think everyone has their own strategies in trading and investing in the market. we wait for the future how the next market development and hope there are good coins to invest in making a profit.

buying at the bottom is one way to get big profits when prices rise later. but it also depends on the liquidity of the token because that will be the main factor as the trading volume increases and the price can also go up. some success, but some failed because they did not get a good trading volume and eventually just died.

And how are you going to calculate the bottom price or the fair valuation? Cryptocurrency is different from equity, where you can easily calculate the fair valuation by doing calculations based on the EPS and P/E. There is no minimum level for cryptocurrency. Theoretically, it can go down to zero, as the prices are purely determined by the supply/demand equilibrium.

If you are looking for a project to invest go to relaible exhcanges where most of project want to be listed there. Sorry to say but I have not heard about STQ, and as what I can see from the other member's comments it is a shitty coin or does not going to go anywhere where it comes to developments. Wait for the right time to buy so just in case price went up you would be able to gain profits.

Big profits by buying at bottom? Don't you think why that coin was set to hit the bottom? I mean to say there will be no real potential coins will be hitting the bottom but only the manipulated coins are doing like that. If you are able to spot those manipulated coins then you can buy them at bottom so that you can make big profits when it will be bumped by the same group of people.

If those group of people will be moving to some other coin, then you will be trapped with the big losses. This is the reason all the coins which are all hitting bottom, might not be the right coins to invest with.

Man, even when Bitcoin was at the rate of $19,000 plus, a lot of people kept buying it and they never stopped. It’s not everyone that knows when the price is at the bottom, most of the people never knows about that.

So, no matter how much the price rate is at you will always find people that are buying and selling their coins. When a lot of people buy at a low price (a bottom price) the price will pump for sure and reach a very high price, but like I have said, people will keep buying it, the market never stops the buying and selling. This is the kind of problem altcoins can face , especially new projects that are still starting up, they get pumped and along the line they are dumped by investors and fail.

Only lower volume coins can be manipulated by such group of people so I personally always avoid such coins having lower volume. I am not much aware about the coin mentioned by OP but making some basic research about it seems it had no much volume and also the coin was at the bottom because it had a depicting demand which derived the price to the bottom. You should always avoid investing in such coins.

Finding a bottom of higher volume known coins would make you earn huge profits but you should know which coins to invest and also you have to acquire skills to identify the bottom. It is not that easy to spot the bottom always.

I don't think everyone will buy at the bottom, because at the time you made your research and bought some people would think it's going to fall more and as such, they won't want to buy a falling knife then before you know the coin starts mooning or pumping, that is when people will start buying,so everyone can't buy at the same time.

There always are some traders who actively buy and sell some coins to make profits. Perhaps they might be the ones to buy at the pump by even making profits in those markets. The markets are huge and there are a number of traders, investors. If ever you choose a project which has huge volume to buy at the bottom than you would surely make profits once the coin starts running towards peak. You never can expect returns from a scam project even if you bought at the bottom.

You have to improve your skills to judge projects before investing in their coins. Buying at dip would always give you profits if you have the skills to wait for long time. You need to gain some patience for doing so.

Basic things happen, the tokens perish.

There is a need for investors to always wary and do more research when it comes to buying the bottom.

The typical example that comes to mind, is the STQ, several people got on the token and bought the bottom, it was shocking because i kept asking myself, who were going to buy the pump.

I guess we all know the end of STQ token ?

Always dyor and be extra cautious when buying the bottom, crypto currency investment is indeed a risk but there are avoidable losses.

I am very much open to other suggestions

It is worth noting that cryptocurrencies are one of the most risky assets and everyone who buys cryptocurrencies and tokens also take risks. Of course, buying a token at the bottom is very profitable, but only on the condition that you know that it will grow. In all other cases, you simply invest at your own risk. I believe that investing in cryptocurrencies is necessary if you understand this area or you are a player who hopes for luck.

I don't think everyone will buy at the bottom, because at the time you made your research and bought some people would think it's going to fall more and as such, they won't want to buy a falling knife then before you know the coin starts mooning or pumping, that is when people will start buying,so everyone can't buy at the same time.
Here we go: The infinite loop. The deeper point of bottom price, honestly, there is no bottom on charts. The market participants have the right to apply their own techniques for grabbing some money from the changing market conditions. Catching the falling knife is a good example in this case but the background image is essential to understand how long the knife is going to fall. Partial buy limit orders are a win-win situation for both kind of traders in the long term.
