Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction?

I personally know a few guys with gambling addition (within friend circle as well as within family), and I know how hard it can be to get rid of it. That said, I am not sure whether this is the right time for doing it. Most of the countries are under lockdowns and people are sitting at home without any work. And when the gamblers are idle, then there is a larger chance for them to relapse to old gambling habits.

I agree now is the worst time to come out of addiction and all non essentials activity are closed.A lot of people have lost their work from business closures massively because of this pandemic and we don’t know for how long this will continue.All these things just emphasizes more the desire to gamble in gambling addicts.

I'm confused. I mean people who are jobless and still playing gambling even without the pandemic are probably asking money for their family or friends, or whatever way they do to have money, and now, a pandemic hits us, most of the people around the globe are saving their money as much as possible especially those who have their own family to feed, now, my point is, why would someone, even a parent gives his son money to be spent on gambling (concluding that he is jobless) in this time of crisis? well, maybe they would give some if they like to spoil their child or love ones in their bad habits.

Physical casinos are obviously close, so those gamblers that plays with real casinos are maybe in online casinos right now since it is the only alternative they have got unless they decided to make one on their house. You can't just stop a gambler in gambling, most of us are really stress with life that gambling is the only way to make it out that's why I don't blame any of our gambling addicts for being so.

As long as it is related to gambling, you're freely to discuss whatever it is you wanted. Gambling addiction threads exist because not all are happy being addicted in gambling, also they wanted to tell their stories for others not to try if they are not mentally prepared about losing their money and time in gambling. It has different purpose for everyone, and I think gambling addiction discussion is healthy for everyone to know, because at least everybody is aware that it do really exist and how to avoid it.

Gambling addiction threads exist because not all are happy being addicted in gambling, also they wanted to tell their stories for others not to try if they are not mentally prepared about losing their money and time in gambling. I wonder how many gambling addicts here really get out of gambling during this pandemic? Let us talk about in this forum alone. Are there players here that will admit that gambling is totally out of their lives? Or is it just temporary? There are still a lot of casino sites that you can play here. As you correctly noted, only on an individual will depend on how favorable his presence in the new environment will be.

Sports tounament has been cancelled because of the lockdown right now, and after this they need another few weekd to clear that coronavirus is already gone and for sure they started again sports and those who like sports betting will be happy.

Their parents maybe don't know what their son did with that money because in this pandemic while people stay at homes, they can playing gambling at their rooms. No one will know what they did in their rooms, and maybe they play gambling after everybody sleep so he can free to visit any of website without anyone knows. But How will people Gamble if you are saying that they Lost Jobs?where they will Get funds to sustain their gambling activities when they need to provide foods for their family and self?

they will find another place where to kill boredom but for sure that is not gambling unless they are ready to get starve with family.
